I needed to find a new massage therapist so I tried this place. I get frequent massages. This place…read moreis not a spa atmosphere, just a place with a few rooms. The massage table was not very comfortable. I booked a hot stone massage. I got a 60 min massage that I had to do face down and only got my back and legs done. I had to say several times that what he was doing to my legs was very uncomfortable. I got a trigger point massage (which was OK but not what I booked) The back massage was good. Never got the hot stones because he didn't like them. I have had very good hot stone massages before. He used hot towels instead

My experiences at Indulge Spa have been excellent, thanks to Greg…read more Greg is a truly extraordinary massage therapist. I am still trying to understand how it is that his way of doing massage works so marvelously well. Part of it, upon reflection, must be due to his seemingly endless reserves of stamina, and even more so, to his robust and unwavering strength. Because he does not struggle, at any time, to do the work, because he does not tire, does not weaken, he can apply whatever needs to be done with his unique, gentle precision. I've had clinicians struggle with their hands, knuckles, fingertips, even use their elbows, and so on, and when that happens, they lose the feel for the work, and the massage is rather less effective. Bruises occur as a side-effect, as well, which brings me to another thing I don't understand about Greg: His gentleness. Greg has a way of releasing the tension in the body with no sense whatsoever of drama. I do not experience a flutter or a fight, or really almost anything, except the awareness that, in a matter of a dozen seconds, my aching, clenched muscle has relaxed, has been set free of the prison it set for itself. I leave with less stress, physical and emotional, and I sleep far better (as reflected in my overnight HRV readings, as well), and I function with greater patience and clarity the next day, during which I also find that I am not bruised or even tender anywhere. I am, simply, more myself, because I no longer carry the unwanted tension I was burdened with for so long, tension that curtailed some substantial portion of my thoughts and my feelings. I think I may have repeated myself; I think that Greg's strength is one key to his gentleness. While others do everything they can to be strong enough, Greg is already far more than strong enough, so he can focus instead on being gently effective. The remarkable thing is, is that he does focus on exactly that, and that through such means he performs his work so very, very well. Greg's compassion is extraordinary, even among massage therapists. What further surprised me is that his acumen in the realm of anatomy not only informed his massage, but that Greg uses his knowledge to enhance my kinesthetic awareness, discussing with me some of the things I could do differently that might help. Greg's mastery of physical form and function is greater than that of any physical therapist I have worked with, and I've had a few good ones. Here, too, Greg is helping me, even outside of the clinic, to live my life more as I wish to be able to. Greg is a dedicated and gifted massage therapist, and much more, besides. I'd follow him anywhere, because a genuinely great massage therapist is hard to find -- I've looked.

I have been here several times and all were average. Today was the worst experience I've ever had…read moreat a nail salon. my tech seemed either sick or maybe hung over not sure. I asked him before we started if he could do a very, very simple heart outline on one of my nails he said yes he threw a menu on my lap and walked away for several came back, walked away again. Then asked which pedicure I wanted, I told him I didn't really care. I was just there for a good foot massage. And reiterated that I was there alone for the massage. The pedicure over an hour and maybe 10 minutes of that was any type of "massage ". I keep my nails trimmed and cleaned regularly, like I said I was there for the massage. He would stuck on one nail or two on each foot for 10 minutes or so, smaller, toenails, previously trimmed filed, absolutely no ingrowns, nothing. After that, he "massaged "my calves. I say that lightly it was just up and down movements repeatedly. Can you put some towels which I'm assuming we're supposed to be warm but they were cold. On my legs. Then he got the hot stones which were scolding and he proceeded to press those into my calves with the same repeated up and down motion. I don't even think he actually massaged or rubbed my feet. acrylic was also awful. He took a very long time trying to shape them. And they still ended up looking like. I have acrylic leftover product stuck to the underside of my nails on half my nails. He could not do outline of the heart I requested, and kept trying and applying more polish to retrace the original attempt. it looked terrible, so I asked if he could just fill in the that would look better. entire design and tried to start a new one. I stopped him and showed him even more simple heart outline. He was happy that I changed it thinking it would be easier I'm assuming. Even worse, my daughter could outline a heart better than this. I still paid in full and tipped him. But I will absolutely never be back, and make sure to steer any of my friends away from this place.

I needed a pedicure…read more*now*, and none of the Yelp favorite places I called had an immediate opening, so I tried this place. They were close, affordable and took walk ins. I was the only customer, actually. The place is spacious, quiet, and I would say average in cleanliness and decor. The man who did my pedicure opened sealed packages of all the tools he used, which was reassuring. The massage chairs are old, but work fine. He didn't speak much during the process, and took his time, which is something I appreciate. The foot massage was fabulous. I've never had someone crack my toe knuckles, it was a bit shocking at first but painless. Less good was the cuticle work. I did come away with a small nick that bled a bit, I noticed later. The polish was done very carefully and looked good, but many minutes after leaving, the big toe got very smeared when bumped. Their drying station does not have the ultraviolet lights, only fans and some kind of red heat lamp. It didn't dry the polish sufficiently to keep it from getting messed up soon after leaving. It wasn't the worst pedicure ever and I would go back, in similar circumstances, now that I know what to expect.

I went in for a regular pedi and a shellac manicure. They were able to very closely match the polish for both, but not exactly. Not sure if I selected an odd color or if that's the norm. Other nail salons I've been to have had exact matches. Pedicure was good. Would have appreciated more foot massage and less calf massage, but that's a personal preference. Next time I will make my preferences known. I had a complicated order for the manicure: shellac French mani with turquoise tips (less noticeable as it grows out if you only have color on the tips. I also wanted a thin line of silver glitter between the tip and the rest of the nail. They turned out totally fine, but there could have been a bit better artistic ability on the glitter line and tips. I will return next time I need nail services and would recommend this place to others, especially for pedicures.
