    Very poor customer service for color. They ask you to sign a waiver for color which they believe absolves them of any responsibility to deliver what was discussed during the consult. Then they tell you that you need to pay for someone else in the salon to correct their colorist's mistakes!! I did an extensive consult with Sam during which I showed her pictures of my own hair - NOT a Pinterest but my own photo of my hair - and she said she felt the "lived in" blonde highlights I had, had would be easy to achieve. She said that even if she didn't get it right the first time, she would consult whomever she needed to, to ensure it was done right. I also asked if any of the photos I sent her were confusing, and she said unequivocally that they were not. After 5 hours, which I don't think was necessary, she left much of my hair coppery. I respectfully expressed that this wasn't what I had wanted, and true to what she had claimed in her consult, could we please schedule me to come back to correct it. I was willing to take the time to allow the salon the opportunity to correct any color that had gone wrong. I believe that, that is the best a salon can expect of a client in that situation. Going back on what she told me when she was getting my business, she told me the salon would do nothing to deliver what was promised. When I called for the salon owner and respectfully explained the situation to the lead of front of the house, she did not even bother to talk to me herself. She did not ask me to come in, so a more experienced stylist could do an honest evaluation of whether the color had been correctly applied. Rather, I was told that because I signed a waiver, the stylist could dye my hair any color she wanted, regardless of what she told me in the consultation, and the salon would do nothing to try to correct it. I was also told that to correct anything Sam had done, I would need to make an appointment and pay again. Mind blowing! The salon took no accountability whatsoever. So beware, if your colorist makes a mistake in your hair, the salon will literally charge you to correct it, and attempt to put you in the wrong. After this happened, I saw another review on Google on which this happened to another client. I can tell you, at least in my case, I was clear in the consult, gave Sam an opportunity to let me know if she thought what I wanted was unattainable, and addressed the situation courteously when the expectation that was set was not met. This salon truly takes no accountability for what their stylists promised or for delivering results to the satisfaction of the client. The owner has less than zero interest in even talking to or meeting clients once they have your money.

    I am SO impressed with Studio Z Salon!! My sister came up for a surprise day trip, and Studio Z was so accommodating with being able to squeeze us in short notice. Jade was absolutely phenomenal and gave my sister a beautiful balayage, and was so friendly and very very talented. The entire staff was so friendly and the facility was beautiful and very clean. For a full salon that offers such a wide range of services they are very talented. We were very happy and very impressed

    My Salon Z experience started when I called requesting an emergency correction of a haircut I had received from a different salon, just minutes before. I explained the haircut from the other salon could best be described as a blunt, uneven "bowl cut" of my top layers of hair, and that we are having a birthday party tomorrow with some friends that I wanted to look nice or at least decent for. The receptionist was gracious, and was quick to find someone to help me solve the problem. I was booked with Meredith, an experienced stylist, for 15 minutes from my phone call. When I got to Salon Z, the receptionist made me an herbal tea and reassured me that we would fix the problem. Meredith was ready within minutes and took me back to the "education" room, which has fewer people walking by and no one else working in the same room, which was nice since I already felt embarrassed by how bad my hair looked and nervous about all that had to be done to fix it. I explained to Meredith that I wanted to keep as much length as possible, but that I was willing to lose some length if necessary to make the cut look "intentional." She told me to expect to only partially fix it, and warned it might take months of growing out before I would be happy with my hair again, and said It may look best with my natural curl instead of straightened, to hide the "shelf" appearance of the blunt layers. Then she got to work, kept focused, asked my feedback throughout the process, and had a beautiful result. When I liked the cut right away, she said, "good! I like to promise less and deliver more." After snapping a few pics to compare before and after, she took me to the front and explained the correction, including drying and style, were complimentary. She said, "pay it forward" before turning to take care of her next client. "Before" is the straight hair. "After" is curled.

    It's a week and a half after my appointment and my feet look awful. I'm adding photos to give you an idea. I had a perdicure here on July 25th. Today is August 4th. My cuticles weren't touched and very little exfolitating of my feet. The chair was not a massaging chair. I basically got lots of lotion worked into my legs and my toes painted. I paid $65.00 and this is how my feet look after a week and a half. The woman who gave me the pedicure was very sweet and we had great conversation. I don't blame her. The salon has decided their protocol for pedicures and they got it wrong.

    Avoid Lily at all cost she will mess your hair up the the vibes in the salon are really negative just avoid the salon if you can

    This place. This is the place…read more A couple of years ago Susan gave me a massage at her old location, and I managed to lose her contact info. Going through a stack of papers, I found it. Now she's in a new office and has convenient appointments available. The new location is very clean, well decorated, and perfect for a massage. I'm a sucker for a heated table, what can I say. Her quality? Fantastic. Very attentive to your needs, and responsive to requests. She does an absolute fantastic job on the trouble spots and does an overall excellent job. A couple of major pluses: Affordable rates that are below what seems to be the standard prices elsewhere. There is also online appointment booking, so no need to call, leave a message, be called back, and on and on. I've had a lot of massages by a lot of different people around town. Now that I've reconnected with Susan, this is where I'm going from now on.

I contacted her in…read moreApril, 2011 to make the appointment and she said she wasn't taking on any new clients right now (So why run the Livingsocial deal, I thought). 2 months later, I was finally able to set up a time on a Saturday to do the massage. I emailed the day before the massage to confirm and she said she forgot... Umm.... what? Ok, no big deal. Trying to reschedule for a day that worked for me (weekends) was another month away. She said she was booked and gave me very limited times that didn't work for my schedule. After saying that didn't work and trying to find a time that worked, she then became unresponsive and not returning my emails. I had to go back through Livingsocial to get a refund. I recommend staying away from this place.
