There is no pretentiousness here. The entire staff at Cha Cha's is extremely friendly and everyone takes the time to make sure you are getting both the cut you want and one that will actually look good on you rather than just giving you a mechanical haircut. The staff has range of experience and the cost of the cut is equal to that so check their website to see who you'd want an appointment with if you are on a budget. The cuts can go from $60 to $20 to $5 and I've had my hair cut by Rick several times and never has a $5 haircut looked better. Just remember to tip! Oh and on Fridays they have what they call the Buzz Club from 7p-11pm which offers discounted haircuts for men on a first come first served basis.

Old beautiful building houses this fantastic place. I love everything designing detail inside. The bowls are free standing so the person can get around every nook without reaching over the customer's face. My husband did the "noshave" November, and had a lot of hair to remove (he usually is bald and has a goatee....nothing else). We needed the help of a barber and a straight razor shave was going to be the best way to get rid of the hair without clogging up our drains. It took over an hour to get through all the hair, and the barber did a great job (I lost the business card so I can't remember his name) but we still had to get that closer finish at home with our regular 5 blade razor. Since my husband has never had a straight razor shave, we aren't sure if this is common or if it was just not as close as it could be. We were charged $65 for removal of hair on the head and the sides of his beard. This place was also having a small fundraiser for the Humane Society, where you could purchase a package and the proceeds were donated. Not a bad deal. Also, during my wait, I saw two people come in and purchase specialty hair care products. Check it out if you're looking to try something different.

Holding my review-- owner is offering to re-cut my hair, that will happen tonight! Upgrading one star just for this offer, that was nice.

I've been going to Cha Cha on and off for a while - I used to see Alice, and when she left I went to Robyn.

This isn't about her; it's about a broken scheduling system. I've suggested redefining new customer to include anyone not seen in 3+ months (since 6 weeks is a full hair growth cycle), but nothing has changed. In the past, the rushed time even left me with residual wax, but I didn't complain. They also raised the price recently and it's now $61 excluding tip. Meanwhile, a competitor I've tried has been on time 100% of the time, so it's clearly possible. The delays here cost me extra parking fees, push back other commitments, and cause anxiety when I can't make work meetings. With no Wi-Fi and terrible reception, I can't even do anything productive while waiting. Time is money. During my last visit on 8/8, I was told Sesha would be 5 minutes late... then 10... then maybe another 5, before being told I should consider another specialist or reschedule. REALLY? EWC cancels my appointment if I'm 5 minutes late, yet doesn't hold itself accountable for being on time. How is that customer-centric?

I've been serviced at this European Wax Center more than five times, having purchased a wax pass…read morebundle, and overall I've been pretty pleased with the results and timing of my sessions. Unfortunately, my most recent visit was not as good. All appointments are booked in 15 minute increments regardless of the service. My appointment began about 10 minutes late, and lasted 25 minutes. My partner had the same specialist immediately after me, so her session began more than 20 minutes late. 15 minutes per session isn't realistic as some services (like a full Brazilian or full legs) take longer. The issue is when one appointment starts late or runs over, it creates a domino effect for everyone after. In the past, I've had great experiences with Sesha--she's one of the best there, and she's always made me feel comfortable. But when I got home after this visit, I noticed patches of hair left behind and bits of wax still on my skin. Some even stuck to my clothes, which was difficult to remove. I suspect the rush to catch up on the schedule affected the quality this time. At checkout, I planned to use my gift card of $67 to cover my wax, but was told it's now $80. When I questioned this, they said their prices went up in April. I felt a 20% increase was a bit steep! While I've had good results in the past, this last experience left me less satisfied, and I hope management works on improving appointment timings so the quality isn't compromised.

When I called with a question, they were very nice and I made an appointment. I am so glad that I did. Tom did my nails. He did a great job! Did a nice job and the cuticles, the length and the shape. Exactly how I like it. When I walked in this was the color I wanted, but they had the color with sparkles. So I got that. If I was up here again I would stop in. I just wish that they were in my neighborhood so they could be my regular to go place. Thanks Tom! You're the best!

At 4:10, I was asked to sit in a pedicure chair. The gentleman who did my pedicure was rough, cut me twice, trimmed far too much off my big toes, and left nail polish on my skin. I didn't receive several of the items listed on that pedicure type. My daughter finished when I was still having my pedicure, and they directed her to a chair next to mine. After she waited almost 30 minutes, she didn't even want the pedicure anymore. No one ever came over to acknowledge her or start working. There were walk ins after her that received service. I finally sat down to have my nails done at 5:05. I had a picture of the French manicure I wanted. It took an hour and 45 minutes. It looked nothing like the photos; the edges were sharp and I scratched myself. There was so much product under the nails and I asked him to file it, but he did not. For two French manicures with a full set and one pedicure, I spent $224!
