I was invited by a friend that comes here often for her pedicures. She insisted we do their deluxe pedicure because it's the best. This space is a lot bigger and brighter than it appears from the parking lot. I have driven past a million times but never been inside. They have the fun adjustable massage chairs. It was a little clunky at first, trying to get on the chair. They said to take a seat but no one put down the sides of the chair arms, so you had to balance on the water bowl and hop on. The deluxe option includes a paraffin wax treatment of your feet, lemon sugar scrub massage, and a hot stone massage. They handed us a bunch of colors to choose from, but when we chose a color... none of the ones they gave us to choose from were "included." But we did get the regular polish versions of each. Could've used another coat though because you can see through mine. I did enjoy that they take their time with trimming around your nails. A lot of places don't do that type of clean up anymore, they just put lotion on and paint. I think for the price point, I'd definitely return! read more

Ugh, I really wanted to like this place, but after my last pedicure I won't be back. My first pedicure was beautiful, done by one of the men. He had a friendly personality. A lady did my second pedicure, and if I had to describe her attitude it would be one of contempt. IDK if she was having a bad day or if she's always like that, but she made me feel like she wished I wasn't there The selection of nail polish was abysmal, unless you like yellow, green, or brown, then they have lots of choices. The lady who did my pedicure actually did a meticulous job of trimming and shaping, but when she squeezed the lotion bottle, the top popped off. She picked the top off of the floor, swished if around in the water that my feet were soaking in, and put it back on the bottle. The polish itself was very poor quality, seemed like it had thinner added. She didn't use any topcoat (it was used during my first pedicure) so the polish looks dull. The pedicure overall ended up looking like I did it myself in a hurry, due to the bad quality polish. The bad looking Pedi plus the gross hygiene practices will prevent me from returning. read more

I normally do pretty simple nails so there normally sent problems. I remember one time though that there was a very small mess up that bothered me, they were very nice about it and got it fixed. The space is nice looking and looks clean. read more

The lady that did our pedicures was nice. Had an appointment at 3 , but didn't even get in the chairs until like 45 minutes after because they were over booked even though there was a decent amount of employees there. They closed at 4.. so we were there after closing for an extra 45 minutes. One of the employees had a moment and went in the back punching the walls and breaking things it seemed or something and maybe quit ... overall just unprofessional vibe. Would have thought we would have gotten a discounted rate maybe for the inconvenience Have came here in the past and had a nice experience and wanted to bring my bf this time but it was terrible & Totally get every place has their bad days but don't think we'll be coming back. read more

Let the attached pictures speak for themselves.. the nail polish just wouldn't dry.. she put thinner in the polish yo make it go further as it was the bottom of the bottle instead of getting a new one. I wasn't very impressed. The locals seem to love it, but it wasn't for me. My biggest complaint was that a classic pedicure (the one men usually get) they didn't cut my nails; the biggest reason I come to get my feet done. They didn't do much exfoliating either. I have been going to Happy Nails for years. I was pleased when they expanded and remodeled. It was beautiful! However, it has gone downhill very fast. My latest experience was awful! The facility is so dirty! They don't clean up between customers. You are literally placing your hands in other peoples fingernails. Their utensils are filthy. Everything is a mess! My technician spent more time answering the phone then attending to me. She didn't listen to what I wanted and cut my nails very short. It wasn't a relaxing experience at all! I was disappointed from my pedicure. First off prices have gone up and usually a higher price one is longer like 40 minutes. This one was only 20 minutes. He didn't massage my legs very long and it hurt. Then never put the lavender pedals in the basin. He didn't do a very good job. Plus they talk back to each other in another language don't know if they talk about customers feet. Anyway not impressed anymore going somewhere else. Prices go up and you don't even get your money's worth like before. Pay for my service and lady runs to my car asking me if I got 42.00 one I am saying no like they don't even check you out properly. I would never come to this place in my life ever again. I went to get an acrylic fill after only a week of outgrowth due to an event i have this weekend. i got a very pretty blue with an accent of sparkle on my ring finger. i didnt want anything extensive or outgoing just very simple. i had an appointment and the man doing my nails filled my nails and painted them in 12 minutes. he then rushed off to another client to do her nails in which he spent alot longer on hers. when explaining to them that they messed my nails up and that i was not going to pay full price for them they said they would fix them. i was beyond frustrated at this point so i said no i just want to go somewhere else. They wanted me to either pay the full price of the nail or they were going to take off the full set. If i had gotten them somewhere else why would i let them take off a full set they didnt do. read more

I'm not the least bit happy with my pedicure that I got at Happy Nails in Stoughton, Wi. Unhappy Nails! She quickly and unevenly clipped my toenails with the clippers, put lotion on my feet for a minute and that was it for a higher than normal price. She didn't trim the other parts of the nail. Didn't file, didn't use the nail scissors on my cuticle edges. I came home from a pedicure and had to trim most of my nails. Save your money for a shop that cares. read more

They aren't adhering to any of the COVID-19 restrictions, and were trying to jam people into the building with no distance between parties. We called to see if they could get us in for 3 pedicures and a manicure. They were able to get us all in within the hour. They are the only place in Stoughton with that many chairs! They have 5 pedicure chairs! And great colors to choose from. Pedicure for $27 and manicures for $14. Great massage chairs too! read more

I recently moved to McFarland and have been trying places in Monona, the east side of Madison, and McFarland. I was looking for a no frills place to get a basic pedicure for a good price. I found it! I walked into Happy Nails without an appointment. I was greeted promptly and instructed to pick out my polish from the wall of bottles. MANY colors to choose from, probably half of it was OPI and the other half was a mix of brands like China Glaze. Now, the overall esthetic of this place is .... well, it has no esthetic. None whatsoever. But it does have five clean pedicure thrones and hardworking, friendly staff who know what they are doing. The nail technician wore gloves throughout my pedicure. She was efficient and able to convey what she wanted me to do by touch only. The basic pedicure included the standard soak, cuticle push, callus removing, orange salt scrub of feet and calves, and a great, wonderfully FIRM massage. It did not feel like she was wearing gloves. I was charged $27. I left her a "whopping" $6 tip (over 20%) and left there with happy feet. I didn't have to pay for fancy chandeliers or neon lights, but they do have a fish tank and a tv on the wall. This is a bare bones operation for a bare bones price. Went with my friends to get our nails done. We made a appointment for 1:30, got there right at the time. My friend needed her acrylics filled, the man who did it, rushed her and did a horrible job. He said it was because someone called and asked for him. She then had to file her own nails. My other friends and I got our nails with gel polish, and we showed what we wanted and they did not do them right, wrong color on nails. I would not recommend going here. After reviews from friends and the trusty internet, I thought I'd give this place a try with a friend from out of town. I did read that it had changed ownership, though I'm not sure when and what reviews were before and after. We walked in, it was typical run of the mill blah, bordering on looking dirty. The rack of for items were questionable items - clear treatments that were well past dates as they'd changed color. I expected English to be the second language and I did expect to be able to somewhat understand what was said - no. Each comment I had to ask to be repeated. The workmanship seemed good and the tools were presumably packaged (laying on the package). The bowl I used for a nail soak still had the sticker from the store IN the bowl...as I looked around, most well used items still had the Walmart stickers on them. **KICKER** My friend has beautiful extensions and she was there only for a pedi. One of the techs walking by asked if she was getting her nails done and she said no, and the tech asked to see her nails and asked where she got them done. She said the state she was from and the tech said "Oh, we do better" and walked away. What in the...honestly now, what? I won't return, there are comparable places in town that appear cleaner, friendly, and don't put down others existing work. I noticed they did ask everyone where they got their nails done...I'm not sure that it really matters, but it left not a great impression. read more

I had my nails done at a different location and I was not very happy with them. I called for an appointment and was told to come in at 5:45. They usually close at 6, so I was surprised. My nails were stripped of color, filed and reshaped to a more flattering shape and length, outgrowth filled. Re-filed and shaped and painted a beautiful French tip. The people there are extremely friendly, quick and efficient. Love, love, LOVE my new nails! read more

My pedicure polish chipped off half of my big toe THREE days after getting the pedicure. I called to get a re-paint job for free, and they were accepting. When I went to my appointment I explained to TWO people that I was only here for a re-paint job as my polish chipped off after only 3 days.. They ended up giving me a pedicure (I thought maybe they felt bad?) and were very very stern on charging me for another full pedicure!! I was VERY disappointed and unhappy with their lack of customer service and communication. Needless to say I will not be going here ever again nor recommending it to anyone. read more

The people are friendly. The pedi is great. The mani needs work. But it's cheap. So you get what you pay for.
