I started getting dip manicures in late December, and I've been really pleased with the quality of the manicures I've received here. They have a wide range of dip colors to choose from (pictured here are two separate dip manicures I had done at Nail Couture when my natural nails were at different lengths). One thing I appreciate in particular about the techs at Nail Couture is their ability to thin out the dip -- at other salons I've visited in the past, I've received really thick/uneven dip manicures. At least for me, thick dip manicures look increasingly ridiculous as they grow out, so I'm appreciative that I've never had a dip manicure that was applied too thick/unevenly here. The techs are quick yet careful in the filing/shaping of your nails and in the application of the dip powder. Special shoutout to Sam for the light pink manicure in the photos I posted here--she did an excellent job, and I plan to schedule with her specifically in the future. Walk-ins are welcomed here, and I've never been turned away walking in (despite the fact that they always look busy). They also have a really relaxing pedicure room in the back that is decorated nicely. Though I've visited multiple nail salons in the Madison/Middleton/Verona area, this is always the one I come back to and will continue to come back to. read more

This is my second go to place! They have great staff and tons of colors to pick from. I especially like the back pedicure room, it's a vibe honestly. Cool screen plays scenic photos of cool places and the vines hanging from the ceiling are a nice touch. I've gone twice and I really enjoy their back pedicure room. Dim lights, draping greenery, and soothing nature scenes played on a projector really set a relaxing and calm tone. Just like all nail salons, I think the service really depends on who's providing it. The first pedicure I had, I felt completely pampered and thought they did a very thorough job with the massage. The second one was good, but not nearly as amazing. They have a great selection of colors in gel, shellac, powder, and regular polish--you'll definitely find a color you like! On July 28, 2023 I had a gel manicure for a July 29th wedding. By the next day the gel (OPI, recommended by the manicurist) had faded on the edges so that you could see my nail. It continued to deteriorate. I went back to have the gel mani removed and they charged me for the removal of their shoddy product. AND they did not take any responsibility for the poor manicure, they blamed it on the OPI manufacturer. It is their product and they should take responsibility for their output. I will not go there again because the manicure looked terrible. read more

I think people can get pretty petty when doing reviews so I'd keep that in mind when reading any bad ones. Chipping happens once in awhile, all things aren't always perfect. That being said, I've come here many times. I go out of my way to only come here. They are always kind and use the best quality of products. The managers have even broken down for me why they do that. I've had dip manicures last for three weeks from here. Every manicure is always followed w a lotion hand massage and hand wax dip. Always consistent and the price is comparable for places who charge the same for no massage at all. They give complimentary wine and other drinks so I love them. I've been a customer of Nail Couture since the day they opened; the quality of the pedicure I got the first time I went was fantastic. I continued to go for about a year, but have stopped going due to some changes in quality/experience. I would recommend going for a pedicure; it is especially relaxing if you are in the quiet pedicure room. They take their time with scrubbing, massaging, applying wax to feet, etc. However, the quality of the pedicures I have received has declined. I've had multiple pedicures where the top layer of polish doesn't cover the whole nail, or has chipped within a few days of the pedicure (typically I have no problem keeping a pedicure on for weeks at minimum). I've also gone to Nail Couture for gel and dip manicures. I would not recommend the gel manicure here; I've had multiple nails chip with a few days, which never happens with gel manicures I've had elsewhere. The dip is great; large color selection, very good application. My only negative with dip is how they remove it; I've left with bloody cuticles from lack of precision when using e-files. Overall, Nail Couture is very hit or miss. Make an appointment, but know that it might not be on time. read more

OH MY GOD!!! THIS PLACE IS AMAZING. Let's start from the beginning. From the moment we walked in, it was beautiful and so pretty inside! Great customer service, someone greeted us. We were walked through the process and explained everything for signing in and price ranges. Then we sat for a short 10 minutes of waiting. They offered us drinks 3 times, they have wine, coffee, soda and water. Then we were taken to the back and they started our nails. She was so nice and she cut my finger once and immediately apologized profusely and put some blue stuff on it to heal it(?), that was the first time I've had someone do that so I don't really know. She changed the nail shape for me, I was just getting a fill, and it came with a hand massage and parifin wax. Knuckles I didn't even know I had were cracked and popped. I love this place! So nice. They have a relaxing setting in back if you are looking for a quiet get way or you can go with a group of friends and chat while sipping the complementary beverages, including wine, in the front salon. I went to this beautiful salon tonight with 2 girlfriends. We had our pedicures in the back, private room, with some relaxing videos on the big TV screen and dim lights. We wanted to stay in there forever. Then we had dip nail manicures with the same nail techs that did our pedicures. Wliked that as some other salons have one tech for feet and a different one for hands. I also liked that the 3 of us were together the whole time and finished at the same time. That hardly ever happens. I will definitely be coming back to this salon. I highly recommend it! 17 days later and my nails have not chipped at all. Both feet and hands look great! read more

I got a shellac pedi about a month ago and opted for the "paradise" package. I was put in the back room where it is much more quiet and loved every minute of it. The quality of the pedi was average because my nails weren't filed very straight, but the experience was awesome. Very relaxing. They were also able to accommodate same day appointments. read more

I've had two shellacs/gels--*both chipped within a week. I'm bummed to admit I'm done after three attempts. Nail Couture is my new go-to nail salon on the west side of Madison. It is a beautiful salon and I am very happy with my gel manicure and pedicure. I booked "online" which made it convenient. I say "online" because you basically just submit a contact form of when you would like to come in (day & time) and they write back to you via email. I think it would be nicer to have an online booking system, but maybe it's in the works. They got back to me in less than 8 hrs and I planned out 2 days ahead. I would recommend calling or booking via email because I did see several people trying to walk in get turned away on a Sunday because they were fully booked. When I booked I indicated I wanted the shellac/gel manicure and the paradise pedicure. When I got there, I picked out my colors and my tech came by. Unfortunately by the end of the pedicure (which was very nice by the way, way better than anywhere else! Good massage, exfoliation, hot stones, paraffin wax, etc) he was like "oh did you want the paradise? (I think the tech next to him was like oops she ordered that one, which is $10 more than the standard). So I didn't get it, but honestly, I didn't even notice. The regular pedi was so nice I thought I was getting the paradise one. He never charged me for it so that was appreciated. I had not had a pedicure in over a year, and am also a person who picks their fingers when anxious or bored, and nail couture really did an amazing job cleaning up my hands & feet. They look and feel great. Their prices are very reasonable and you really get your money's worth unlike other salons in the area. They also have a really awesome collection of colors and brands to choose from. Kiara Sky is my favorite and I was thrilled they had gel options and not just dip from that brand. My only complaint besides the miscommunication about which pedicure I was getting, was I just don't find it professional in any setting for the nail techs to be chatting to each other in another language in front of customers. All 5 techs were talking quite a bit in the hand-nail section and in general most customers do not enjoy this and it comes with the assumption that they are talking poorly of customers. I also experienced & heard others think their tech was talking to them only to mistake them going back and forth with each other, then back with their customer. It is just very confusing and makes customers uncomfortable. The language they were speaking however, sounds a lot like my mother's native language, so I think I will be testing out what nail techs really say at some point ;) Overall, I am definitely coming back. Going here makes me want to get my nails done more than just once a year ;) Can't wait to invite friends & family. read more

The experience at this nail salon was the best one I have ever!!! Upon arrival, we were given a complete tour of the salon and they started on our nails. They had TOTAL patience with how indecisive I was and they even helped recommend different looks I could go for. The guys that did my me and my mom's nails were AWESOME. They talked to us and it felt like they cared and were passionate about their jobs and the happiness of their clients. ABSOLUTELY coming back and this easily became our new go to salon!!
