The Cajun Boil Combo with their own sauce. Nothing Cajun about it.
Brenda E.

The images at the place can be misleading. Let's begin with the "seafood combo" with their special sauce...presentation was what it would like in a fish market. There was shrimp, crab legs, clams and 2 small corn cobs, with the option of substituting potatoes, in a clear plastic double bag marinated and steamed/boiled in their sauce. The flavor was dull, and the price was expensive for what you actually get. Decided to give it another try and ordered their "paella". Now I'd you have eaten paella before you are expecting a lots seafood that can be obviously seen in the rice and the restaurant image is deceiving. In reality what it looks like is just more fried rice with seafood. And the rice is dried up and there is nothing really wow about it. So disappointed--will probably not give a 3rd chance.

It is pricey for some items, but the food, is good, there is a big selection, including lots of appetizers and delivery does not take long.

On this revisit to this particular location, I came because…read moremy friend wanted to do happy hour here to kick off our spring break session, (we were off from work because our schools are closed.) We missed happy hour because it was over at 6 and we arrived at 6:30, she thought it was until 7pm, bummer for us. They also had no live dee jay like my last visit. We still decided to dine in anyway because she really had a taste for some seafood. I went ahead and ordered a mini shrimp boil along with some crab fries and a frozen drink that was not worth taking a picture. First off the crab fries did not have real crab meat and I was told it did, but once I ate around that, my fries were really crispy and tasty. Second my shrimp was not deveined because I ordered them with the head attached and my friend who didn't have the head attached, her shrimp was. Had I known this I to would have just ordered no head attached. It is a way to devein a shrimp with the head still attached to it, but I digress. After spending time trying to devein it myself, the shrimp was just ok. My corn was the best part of the boil, unfortunately it only came with one piece. My drink was just down right watery. It was not blended well and had no taste of alcohol. My server, who was very nice and friendly, gave me a free shot with it because the drink was just a hot mess. My overall experience to be honest. I don't care for this place and I really don't like seafood franchises. They seem to have some locations better than others but when it comes to the seafood itself, they really miss the mark. I'm glad that everything I received was a good price and really affordable, but I rather spend my money elsewhere. If you want to come because it is a big location to accommodate a large crowd, and your on a tight budget, well than sure I'd say try them but I would look for a better location, such as the one I went to in Yonkers, but this particular location, I would not recommend. So on that note Happy Yelping!

Taco Tuesday! We…read morewent here for Taco Tuesday after seeing the special posted on IG. Upon arrival the only available table for a party of 2 was directly in front of the DJ speakers so we sat at the bar. The bartender comes over and I tell her we're here for their Tuesday Happy Hour specials. As per their IG post tacos (ALL) are $2. So we ordered chicken, shrimp & steak. The bartender tells me the steak isn't included and is an additional charge. So I pull up the IG post which states differently. She's unaware of the post or special and has to run it by a manager. We ordered 6 tacos but 7 came out. I pointed out the extra taco she apologized and said we wouldn't be charged for it. Next I order the froze. The froze and the margarita were both juice like. Entirely too sweet for the froze and too much sour mix on the margarita. The tacos were mid, steak was tough & chicken wasn't seasoned. The check comes and we were charged the $2 for the steak taco, the 7th taco that I didn't order (the bartender was suppose to comp) was on the bill and froze that was suppose to be $2 as per the IG post was $13. I bring the price difference of the Froze to the bartenders attention and she states that the $2 froze is in a smaller cup than what she gave me. How would I know that? I showed her the IG post with specials upon placing my first order. Clearly if it's a Tuesday special and I'm ordering on a Tuesday that's why I'm ordering it. She said she would have to speak to a manager came back and said the manager wouldn't honor the $2 advertised price. I paid my bill and left. To make a social media post to gain patrons.... Patrons come specifically for said specials and then not honor them?! Such a waste of time and money. The service, food and drinks are subpar at best.

So this is my second time visiting the establishment. The first time I came I did their Sunday…read morebrunch and had steak and eggs. The steak was actually good and cooked to perfection. We also sampled some sides from the regular menu and they were so good that's what made us want to go back. I returned on another Sunday and did the all you can eat seafood boil. It really is a bang for your buck. The food was hot and fresh especially the sides. If it is one thing they know how to do its the sides. My boil itself was simply ok. It was a little too salty for my taste and the crab legs were extremely overcooked and and salty. While it was salty I do not believe this to be a normal occurrence or at least I hope not. In addition the crab legs in the special are smaller than the crab legs from a normal crab leg order. This time around the side that takes the award was hands down the fried rice. I would go back just to order this. The waitstaff is hit and miss. My first time we had a super attentive waitress this time my waitress was very busy as she was the only one and also she was working the bar too. And you have been warned stay away from the $5 Lemon Drops...they tasted like medicine. Not happy my food was salty but I will give them another try.

This is just…read morecloser and I've heard has a better selection because they have many pre-made sandwiches you can order from. This time around I tried the Morris Park Special and this might be my new fave here. The red peppers and Sopresatta (Italian dry-cured salami) is what makes this sandwich great. There are slices of deep fried eggplant as well, but honestly, next time I would opt out of the eggplant and ask for extra peppers. The inside of the sandwich is then drizzled with olive oil vinaigrette (?) and it is just to-die-for. I knew that only half of the regular would be enough for me, but honestly, it was so darn tasty that I had to eat the other half...and quick too (hence, the reason for no pictures). Some changes have been to the place. Instead of the many fliers tacked up on the wall of each sandwich, they've now installed boards with the sandwiches neatly typed on it. A needed improvement. The hot food was out as well (out at 11AM) and looked very fresh and good as well. There were meatballs and pasta and fried chicken tenders. The cold pastas in the counter as well as by the hot food items looked good as well. Can't wait to come back and try another sandwich!

I've had a variety of their hot and cold sandwiches and tried their buffet once. The food here is pretty good. I really like the sandwiches. Everything is fresh and made with care. During lunch time, this place gets really busy and the lines are long because it's one of the few viable lunch options in the area. Because of this, the prices are a little steep. I can find similar food at lower prices in other places in the Bronx. The prices are comparable to Manhattan here. I ordered the spicy Italian sandwich and it came out to $7. The other sandwiches here are in the $5-6 range and are also really good. But I do have to say the spicy Italian was my favorite. I know I will be coming here more when a deli craving hits. Their sandwiches are worth the money. But beware of the really long lines during lunch hour! The sandwiches (esp the hot ones) take a while to make, but I like that everything is fresh.
