Don't see what the big deal is about this place. The "A" grade on the front door is reassuring that the food is prepared in a sanitary and clean environment. We had their #1 and #2 combo deal, basically a main dish like meat or fish with 1 side. We tried the blackened fish, sesame chicken, and fried pork with fried rice. I also tried the wonton soup with meat dumplings. The soup broth was very oversalted. On the plus side, it was only $2 and there was a generous amount of dumplings included with it. The rice was totally bland, the fish was okay, but again, not especially tasty or flavorful. The sesame chicken and fried pork were better, I would maybe give them 3.5 stars. The place has a limited seating area with tables for 2 and some corner tables that could sit up to 3 people. Most people get food to go, so someone is constantly walking by you as you are eating as the space is very narrow. The pros of this place are that the food is okay, especially if you are hungry and don't care too much about the flavor or are okay with very average tasting. Also, as others said, their bargain prices and speed with which you get hot food cannot be beat. You basically just walk up to the counter and point to what you want and within a minute you can start eating. We did not try their bubble teas, so I cannot make any comments about those, but based on the pictures and reviews they look interesting. Oh, one last thing - this place is CASH ONLY, so make sure you've got cash on hand before coming here! Also, there are no wifi networks inside the restaurant.

Food was okay... the rice feels kinda old. Idky.. it might be the way that is being cooked or they are using left over rice.. Bourbon chicken tasted good .. my daughter loved the wings with white rice.

A great little spot to pick up some Chinese food for a few dollars. You can get 2 meats and a side for under $7 plus it comes with a drink. The staff are nice and all the food is fresh and available for you too see what's going on your plate. There's plenty of other items in the restaurant as well such as bubble tea. Just a reminder it's CASH ONLY at the moment.

The bubble tea with boba was absolutely delicious. I got a green apple tea and my friend got the peach. The drinks tasted so refreshing, they only cost &3.00 and were pretty big. Most bubble tea places in the city are much more expensive and don't even taste that great. I didn't have any food but the selections looked good too.

Two words: jalapeno chicken. It's dry seasoning based as opposed to the other options that are drenched in thick sauce. It has a really good kick and slight burn to it. I've never seen it at any other Chinese restaurant, so give it a try! A lot of my friends are fans of the sesame chicken and bbq pork with fried rice. Another good one is the chicken and broccoli. Like everyone below mentioned, China Mia's food isn't as greasy as other Chinese take out places, so it'll make you feel a teensy bit less guilty for indulging. The owner, David, is very friendly. He really cares about his customers and making good food for them. I have his food so often that he is practically family to me. I have a friend who brings home China Mia food on Friday nights, and it's honestly one of the greatest things to eat after having a few beers. So satisfying. Tip: If you go during the summer, sometimes David's handsome son is working the register :)

Decent and Delicious food, not the regular neighborhood Chinese food. I recommend to try at least once.

I wish there were more locations of this in Manhattan. We made an order at the desk before we seated ourselves and for a Saturday evening, there was quite a bit of open tables which was great. I ordered the Szechuan Braised Beef Noodles and they were absolutely delicious. The noodles tasted a bit like ramen noodles but they were able to grab all the delicious and garlic flavored soup. I really appreciated the soft-boiled egg with its marinated egg whites. I also loved the big tender beef chunks as well. Overall, I really cannot wait to go back to Zhongzhong noodles and I hope that they open up more locations. I will say though that since I last went to the Roosevelt Island location, they have raised their prices quite a bit - maybe $2 or $3 per dish.

We have a staple restaurant from which we always order but one of this place's dishes stuck out to me and had great reviews so that was what made me take a chance with them. I saw this picture of their Shrimp Chow Mei Fun everywhere and the shrimp were huge. People said it was a really good dish so I had to try it. I will say that it tastes really good but this recession has definitely affected the shrimp size. They serve medium-sized shrimp in this dish and the pictures where saw extra large shrimp, are likely no more. The flavor was still really good and I suggest asking for some chili oil as well, if you don't have any at home. That's a game-changer. We had their sesame chicken, shrimp dumplings, sautéed broccoli and wonton soup, which were all very good. They even pan fried the dumplings as requested. Their shrimp and egg rolls were fried very hard which I don't like. It's a little difficult for my daughter to eat the hard exterior as well. The fantail shrimp were very sad. I'm used to them being mostly breading but these are ridiculous. The shrimp size is a fourth of the overall breading. If it's getting too expensive to serve them, they may want to take them off the menu entirely and just serve fried shrimp or popcorn shrimp. They were literally that size. The house fried rice was also not a favorite. I'm not into super dark fried rice and it just seemed really hard. This is your run-of-the-mill neighborhood Chinese takeout spots I wasn't expecting gold standards but now I know how to order from them in the future if I ever have another craving for their Chow Mei Fun.
