Their pork fried rice has a decent, though not amazing, amount of actual pork in it. (I like the big chunks their rice contains.) The sauces aren't too gooey - just the right amount. I'd skip the dumplings - skin is too thick - and scallion pancakes - too soft - next time. But overall, I appreciated the main dish options and taste.

Took a chance and ordered for delivery, choosing the Catfish Sliders and an order of Buffalo Wings. The sliders were much better than I expected and were built heftily on toasted buns. Nice touch. The wings were pre-Covid sized and not those emaciated wings with no meat on them...very tasty. Everything arrived neatly packaged, still hot and fulfilled our hunger. Curious about the restaurant itself, I took the time to stop by and was impressed with the interior and how clean the restaurant looked. An additional plus, unlike most of the fast food Chinese restaurants in our area, they have ample seating available for dine-in. Based on this positive experience, I wouldn't hesitate ordering from Empire Express again.

Before I talk about the food and flavour well your location seems very small and can only serve up to 4 people at a time. But it's alright small places big nice meals I usually come for spaghetti and fried chicken wings. The chicken wings as greasy as they are had amazing flavorful ginger white meat inside the orange brown flavoured skin. Your Lo Mein? Well not sure what to think of it but it's definitely above average and it's best to put soy sauce and dumpling sauce to increase flavor. Your golden fried rice? That holds up on its own as well as the red meat egg rolls. I like comming here on occassions to have a nice meal but that's as much as I could say and it's close to my home. Keep cooking well and make the business grow.

Staff are fluent in Cantonese despite of the Mandarin name and was near hanging up on my call as I was placing my order.
