I had Yoni install a Tesla Wall Connector and it was a seamless and professional experience at a competitive price. Yoni came to do an estimate and was very thorough thinking through how to get the charger installed since my panel is not in my garage. He took the time to look at the project and explained his plan to route the wire. I had 3 estimates and he was on par with another company but his thorough planning made me confident that he was the guy I wanted to do this project. Communication, cost, execution were all great. You can't go wrong with Empire Electric and Yoni. read more

Empire Electric - Electricians Near Me - San Francisco, California

Terrible customer service. This is what I got when I submitted a detailed service request. I didn't specify a time frame because it's not urgent. I stated I was flexible. He marked it as unable to service because he's not available at that time. My job probably doesn't have a high enough price tag on it for him to make time for me, so he chose to show me that my business doesn't matter to him. Sad. Not a wise business practice. read more

We've worked with both Yoni and Kevin on our Victorian duplex in SF, and were really happy with their work. Yoni did a retrofit of our home up to code with a very complex set of existing electrical work that needed upgrades and code fixes to pass inspections. We've recommended them to friends and would work with them again. read more

I called Empire Electric to install my Tesla Wall Charger and the owner Yoni gave me a great price lower than the competition and was able to install the same day. He was very professional and I will use his services again for my future electrical projects. read more

Efficient service and clear, fair pricing. Will definitely call Yoni again for anything needed in the future.

Highly recommend Yoni. An outlet and light stopped working in my kitchen. I thought the issues were related but they were two completely separate troubleshooting issues. As for my recessed lighting, Yoni recommended I upgrade to LED since mine were outdated and finding parts to replace would be difficult (especially in the future as the lights are discontinued). I have to admit, my kitchen lighting is the ugliest thing I have ever seen. I've never seen it anywhere else and I have no idea what idiot chose it (not me). It was a really great recommendation, my kitchen is so much brighter and lights are aesthetically pleasing. When calling and texting Yoni, he was very responsive. He was also very clean. I felt his prices were very reasonable given he's an electrician. He will be the first person I call for electrical needs. read more

I had Yoni come out and install a couple bidet outlets in my condo recently. We discussed a few options and settled on extending power from the existing bathroom outlets. After all was done, the outlets look great and with only minimal drywall cuts required. He also saved the cutout pieces to make it easy for repair. Would definitely recommend for any home upgrades you're looking to do. read more

Yoni is the best! He has a great attitude and was able to solve every problem that came his way. When he needed different lights than the ones he'd bought, he went out and shopped until he found them. He has a lot of energy to finish any job in the best way possible. Yoni was great. I told him about the electric problem and he was able to quote me the rate over the phone. His rate was very reasonable. I contacted him in the morning and he was able to come over later in the afternoon. He was responsive. I agree with other people that it was hard to find a good independent contractor. I am glad I found one now. read more

My electrical outlet made smoke while using the hair dryer. After googling, then calling non-emergency police and PG&E, I called Yoni (pronounce Joni).
