Great experience. Helped me troubleshoot my Tesla charger that wasn't working! Highly recommend him.

Bryan was simply amazing!! We lost power to all the 110V outlets in our garage after the pg&e outage last week. Called Bryan and he offered to help troubleshoot without even being onsite. In under 5 mins he helped me dig up a hidden outlet with a push button that restored power to all the other outlets. While other electrical technicians offered to troubleshoot for $180 an hour, Bryan was generous with his time and expertise and charged me $0. Definitely hiring him for other electrical upgrades at our place. Great customer service, Bryan! read more

Very happy with the ev charger that Bryan installed for me. Of all the quotes I received, his was right in the middle but it was his flexibility that made the difference. Other estimates wanted me to upgrade my electrical service or install load limiter hardware in order to get the electrical permit issued. Bryan didn't upsell any of that. We found a better alternative(smart charger)and got the permit approved. I wouldn't hesitate to hire again for other electrical services. read more

Bryan was very thorough and helpful! He fixed a breaker issue we had been having and took a look at multiple other electrical issues we had questions about around our house. So glad we found Bryan and definitely recommend his services. read more

Highly recommend Bryan. He came and did a walk through. Discussed different ideas and costs on what I wanted done. Friendly, but intent on his work. Put in two GFCI outlets and extended the conduit for both of them. Did some troubleshooting and figured out the problem of why some of my garage light fixtures weren't working. Put up with my constant questions and was patient with me. I have found my electrician for the future :) read more

Excellent response and knowledge. Simple fix and Bryan talked me through on the phone. Awesome person.

Perfect. Amazing. Efficient! Bryan and his son helped repair one of our outlets today. They were like house surgeons. They were professional, polite, and exacting. They immediately repaired the issue, and provided peace of mind. Thank you for serving our community! read more

I'm highly recommending Bryan as a high-integrity electrician. I had Bryan come out to evaluate a potential job during one of our home remodel. Although Bryan could do the job, he advised me to contact a different type of professional specialist, as they were going to be a much cheaper option. Bryan was the only electrician who recommended this route to me - every other electrician simply bid on the job at a relatively high rate. Taking Bryan's recommendation literally saved me over a thousand dollars. I'm really grateful to Bryan!! read more

Brian is awesome. Super friendly, helpful, informative, professional. He and his son are hard working and honest. Brian has been our electrician for the last three years since we moved into our house and he's been great. Always willing to offer ideas and is super fast while being safe and careful. read more

It's hard to find honest electricians that are willing to work with you. My parent's home had an issue with their Tesla wall charger and we scheduled an appointment to figure it out. Before the appointment, he walked us through a few things over the phone in case it was an easy fix. His advice helped and we didn't need the appointment anymore. Next time we need anything electrical for either home we will definitely reach out to Bryan again. read more

Bryan has been such a great find! Twice in the past couple of years, I have had the need for a few relatively minor but "above my pay grade" electrical installations and repairs. These jobs have ranged from hanging pendant lights to updating light switches and GFCI outlets to (most recently) installing backlit address numbers on our home exterior. What I most like about Bryan, aside from the quality of his work, is his communication. So often, folks in the home improvement industry are difficult to nail down, whereas Bryan was immediately responsive to my first request for a quote and always reached out and showed up when he said he would. This sounds like a small case for applause, but after dealing with many during a home remodel and beyond, it is absolutely one of the most important attributes. He's also super friendly and easygoing. Thanks, Bryan! read more

During the recent rainstorm, one of our breakers tripped and wouldn't come back on. I ended up calling several electricians to try to get help diagnosing the issue, but it seemed everyone was busy servicing emergencies across the city. Bryan was responsive and provided assistance over text. While he never ended coming out, his advice and line of questioning helped me diagnose the issue on my own. I would definitely consider working with him in the future. read more

Professional, friendly, knows his stuff. He reconnected my 220v dryer outlet to use for my EV car charging. Also, he chased down a faulty ground connection in my 110v circuit. No professional electrician is cheap. Find someone who gets it right the first time and is customer oriented. For me that is Bryan. Will use again. read more

Bryan is a very good electrician. I appreciate that he's timely, clear in his communication and friendly. He performed a few outlet repairs and installations (car charger, new outlet, wall fan) for me. His work was tidy and efficient. I especially appreciate that he communicated well about everything. He's so much better than the average contractor in this way. I'm now working with him on a second project. Thanks! read more

Had a ev charger installation consultation with Bryan. He is honest, straightforward, experienced, helpful, generous, and overall a nice guy. read more

The lights in our home had been flickering regularly the past month, even worse the past couple days despite fresh bulbs. Last night was the worst, and the TV even started buzzing during the flickering. This morning, the internet dropped every few minutes. It was certainly worrisome to me, probably a call I should've made sooner about whatever the underlying issue was. I had contacted a handful of electricians, but none were available (thankfully!). When I called Bryan, he was very personable and SO honest with me. Rather than charge me for coming out, he gave me his recommendations based on my description of the problem. He texted me throughout to see how I was doing. After following his advice, the issue has been resolved. He has even followed up via multiple texts to make sure my issue remains resolved! I'm stunned by his generosity with his knowledge, time, and frankness! Top notch customer service and professional, would definitely hire him for a future project. read more

Two space heaters were plugged into different outlets not knowing they were connected to the same circuit, which popped the breaker. After resetting the breaker, there was still no power to the lights and outlets in the area. Bryan responded within 30 mins of a quote request offering to see if the issue can be resolved through a phone call at no charge, but was also available the same day if needed. Gave him a call and got it fixed! There seemed to be a bit of a circuit jam, specifically the springs behind the switches. After applying force by resetting a couple of times, everything was working again. He was extremely helpful and best of all, it was free. Will definitely go back to him for any future electrical issues. read more

Bryan was actually the first response to my service request for the refrigerator power loss situation on 7/22/22. Although due to full schedule, Bryan was not able to come for the repair; however he assisted and provided me with valuable consultation (expert opinion) by phone to identify the problem was on the Quad breaker instead of the Refrigerator. Thanks for Bryan great knowledge and willing to share with potential customers. I certainly will recommend his service to anyone who has the need for electrical services. Thank you, Bryan! read more

Bryan has been tremendously helpful and professional since the start: - Always showing up on time - Always professional by cleaning behind himself - Always trustworthy and honest - Easy to reach I've already worked with him a few times already on small and large projects: - Installing new electrical outlets - Installing an outdoor lamp and outlets on my porch - Replacing circuit breakers etc. I would definitely recommend him to anyone in the Bay Area. read more

Bryan is a rarity. Being extremely generous with his time, he patiently educated me about my potential issue and actually enabled me to resolve it myself. He clearly knows his stuff and would be a great find for anyone needing electrical help. Highly recommend. read more

A slew of lights went out in our house. I called Bryan after seeing his reviews on Yelp to get assistance. He gave me some advice on the phone on what I should try to do first to see if this fixed the problem. He told me to restart the GFCI switches and gave detailed instructions on how to cut the breakers (and to make sure that I cut them for long enough). In short, his tips worked and our lights are now all back on. He also called back later in the day to follow up and see if I had fixed the issue. read more

Bryan was extremely helpful. He made an effort to resolve my issue over the phone free of charge because my tenants had covid. I would recommend going to Bryan for any electrical issues you may have!!! He is wonderful and kind. read more

Like many San Franciscans, my house is 100 years old and features a mix of knob and tube wiring and modern wiring from past remodels. I was planning to replace some ancient, painted-over two prong receptacles that were giving off sparks and wouldn't hold plugs well anymore. I know enough DIY that I've been able to replace switches and light fixtures on my own, but when I scraped off the decades-old paint, I saw that one of the outlets was screwed right into a rough sawn-out hole in the baseboard with no electrical box whatsoever. I decided I needed a pro's help. I had a great initial phone call with Bryan; he readily discussed the problem with me and respected my limited but nonzero knowledge of electrical matters. Bryan was able to make a next day appointment for me. After I spoke with him on the phone, he sent a text to confirm the appointment, and another text to touch base right before the appointment. He showed up right on time. Bryan replaced the ancient receptacles with shiny new three-prong ones, which included sawing out a new hole in baseboard to make room for an electrical box where the outlet had been installed without one. He showed me what he was doing every step of the way, and even offered to let me do as much of the work as I wanted under his supervision. The appointment was actually fun and educational as well as getting the work done. The work he did looks very high quality - instead of just screwing down the old knob and tube cloth wires, he added fresh colored pigtails with butt splices and terminal connectors. He quickly grounded all the switches in my bathrooms as well, which a previous electrician had neglected to ground despite ground wire present in the box. Bryan works by the hour, but he's upfront about his rates and works efficiently. I asked him for recommendations on bigger projects like EV car charging, installing a more solid ground for the house, and removing all remaining knob and tube wiring. He gave great explanations of what was needed for each project, and was pragmatic about what was important to do and what wasn't. I felt confident that he wasn't trying to upsell unnecessarily. I was very pleased with Bryan's work and would definitely call him again for other electrical projects. read more

Bryon made my day! I was in the garage trying to disconnect an alarm system no longer working ... there was a pop and sparks at the outlet box ... and the garage lights went out. Since I don't do electrical stuff well or even average, I researched Yelp and saw Bryan's reviews. So I gave him a call. He responded within minutes and told me that he could save me several hundred dollars if I would go to the breaker box and hard flip each switch off and on three times. I saw that one breaker was spongy so I did what he said ... and the lights returned. It was a miracle! I am one grateful 82 year-old man. Thank you, Bryan. read more

Sunday afternoon, I hosted friends for hotpot and the outlet got over-power surged. I intended to just call for a reservation with Bryan. He picked up the call right away. 1. Talking to him feel like he is next to you and sees the situation (configuration and setup) 2. He is so friendly and so well articulated for technical stuff to help out right away - trouble shooting, etc., 3. He is an electrician with super professional knowledge and love-to-share and willing-to-help attitude. I am so grateful to come across the experience with Bryan. An electrician and feels like a friend! If you look for an expert electrician with best service and attitudes. Go with Bryan!!! read more

Bryan is great - extremely professional and prompt, and one of the few that does hourly work in the City. I am an amateur DIYer and ran into wiring confusion; Bryan able to solve a complicated wiring issue and panel issue extremely quickly, saving me countless frustration. Unlike other groups, Bryan runs the show, meaning you'll get reliability and integrity. Highly recommended, and will be calling back when I need future help! read more

I usually don't write reviews, but I was so impressed by Bryan just over the phone that I felt I had to write one. I gave Bryan a call a few weeks ago to talk about some electrical problems at my house - my intention was to setup an appointment for him to take a look, make an estimate, and potentially add new circuits, but instead he gave me some excellent suggestions to try on my own so I could save money by not paying his hourly rate. I really appreciated this, and as it turns out he was right about the source of the problem and I ended up fixing it myself for just the cost of a new GFCI breaker (the old one was faulty and was tripping randomly even with no load on the circuit). Beyond that I also want to mention that Bryan sounded extremely knowledgeable about this craft, he really took his time listening to my layman description of the situation (we probably talked for 20 minutes), asked for clarification when needed, and he did not suggest taking extreme or costly measures to fix the problem. It also sounded like he had a really clear mental picture of the layout of my kitchen and how it's wired (just based on our conversation), which I thought was remarkable considering he's never seen it in person or photo - this made the conversation all the easier. I may still want to add more circuits in the kitchen - if I decide to do that I'll definitely give him a call for an estimate. read more

On time, reliable, honest. Excellent communication, excellent service. You won't go wrong hiring Bryan.

5 Star A+ Bryan Poli is a great SF-based electrician who I highly recommend. I appreciate that he first tried to help me troubleshoot my issue by phone prior to scheduling an appointment. Bryan capably determined that I had reached my electrical comfort level with a pendant light wiring issue. Bryan and his son Austin are highly professional, personable, and knowledgeable. They took the time to explain the steps that they were taking and why. While I learned a few things today, I will not hesitate to call Bryan first when we need an electrician. Great experience today and really high value relative to the cost of their services. read more

I loved how responsive Bryan was to our needs and how he takes time troubleshooting, explaining what we could do ourselves, over the phone, so it wouldn't require a paid visit. And when it does require a visit, he does an excellent job. I hope he stays in the neighborhood, so we have someone to run to every time we have electrical issues! read more

Responsive, timely and honest. We were looking to install a 240 V circuit for our dryer in our new home. We had a washer dryer set from our previous location and simply wanted to put it in, but of course had a gas hook up. It was an oversight and I was stuck with wanting to get the electrical work, the alternative being buy a new dryer which I was at first dreading. Bryan told us it was more cost-effective to buy a gas dryer, that we would get our money back on it in a year. The estimates we got were all in line with his but he knew the situation from the onset and didn't even really need to come by. But he did and gave us the correct answer. Bryan was right and now I will use him to put in an EV charging station instead once were ready. read more

Bryan Poli was responsive (on a Sunday!), calming, and efficient at diagnosing, working on, and solving an electrical issue. His rates are the going rates, so not inexpensive, but we felt we got good value for money and recommend him highly. read more

Brian Poli was prompt, knowledgeable, and very thoughtful. He came well equipped with an obvious willingness to assist. Thankfully, my emergency was only temporary but unfortunate, as it occurred on Sunday evening. He responded promptly to my inquiry and because the emergency had passed was very helpful in scheduling his visit to a time that fit my schedule. He spent significant time analyzing the situation and he explained the causes to me in a way even I could understand. I wholeheartedly recommend him - first class in every way. read more

I could not have asked for a better job. He didn't have the exact part that I needed to have replaced, so he said I could make a quick trip to pick it up while he worked on the rest of the install (so he wouldn't have to take the time to do it and charge me). Very good work! read more
