I asked them to send their top-notch expert technician, and I was very fortunate that they sent Jason and his excellent assistant (Ricardo) to my home the next day. They carefully removed (and disposed of) my old water heater and did a beautiful job of installing the new one (it was made by A.O. Smith Corporation). The installation job required several hours but it was clearly done properly. During the entire installation process, Jason kept me well informed. I highly recommend Legacy Plumbing for any plumbing or water heater installation needs. This is a very professional company what goes out of its way to provide exceptional customer service. There was no sales pitch and no pressure. As I have always said, selecting a reputable company and high-quality equipment is important, but having it installed properly by a team of highly knowledgeable experts is the most important aspect of the job. Examples: I have a wavy wall, it took them days to correct the paint throughout the house, they flat refused to match my craftsman trim, they forgot my vented kitchen hood, vetoed my transom (they don't even know what that is), failed plumbing inspection three times and nearly blew up my house. (I'm not embellishing) Had to install the cabinets twice (ordered incorrectly and hung at the wrong height), the rough plumbing is so poorly done that the knobs don't sit right and turn lop-sided; failed to contain the renovation dust which covered even stuff inside cabinets and drawers throughout the house. The cleaning crew came multiple times and I still had to hire my own at a cost of $360, to get all the ceiling fans, fixtures, floors, etc. finally clear of dust and paint splatters. They scratched my hardwoods and damaged my stove. To top it off, they stopped paying the subs and one of them put a lien on my house, EVEN though, i was up to date on my payment arrangement. (Yes, that's totally legal, for some reason!) The drama continues as I need help correcting some issues that i don't feel I should have to live with. They messed up my bathroom tile, then made me feel bad when I asked them to do it right. As if I was asking too much when they didn't do it right in the first place? They also installed a random circular silver drain in the shower, when I asked for and ordered a square gold drain. Hello? The owner, Michael, simply chalked it up to "hiring workers that don't speak English." If that doesn't tell you all you need to know... The attention to detail and doing a decent, not even good, job is just not there. They didn't finish caulking behind the toilet or on top of the counter. They scratched the paint off of 3 doors, and refused to compensate or correct. They got dirt all over the walls and even got paint on my front door and hallway tile. They littered cigarette butts and a giant sponge (???) in my front yard. They left an entire garbage can of trash in my front yard. They even messed up my garage door, when that is an area of the house they were NOT authorized to do ANY work in. Who knows where else they were messing around while I wasn't home? When I asked them to remove the master toilet, I specifically and repeatedly asked them to cover the hole in the ground. When I arrived home two days later, I walked in to find the sewage hole completely gaping open, releasing toxic sewage fumes into my home and bedroom. Unbelievably thoughtless, careless, and downright hazardous/dangerous. They started trying to charge us hundreds of dollars at the end for things we already discussed, and then when we tried to talk to the owner, he basically said he'd just hand us over to his lawyer. He knows he is taking advantage of us, so he didn't want to discuss the money details with us. You can see in the attached videos/photos that they also threaten to take legal action against us, should we post an honest review. They don't have any basis to do so, but just want to scare customers into silence. That's why they don't have any other bad reviews on here. It's too late for me, but please, save yourself. The installation of counters (in a world of uneven things) - I don't know where to begin - care was taken to demo, and install new counters and you cannot tell there was work done.
