AWESOME EXPERIENCE! I was a little hesitant, because the other vendor that Nebraska Furniture Mart…read moreuses had horrible reviews (luckily I googled them when they called to request a measure). But after NFM tried to get me to use that other company, I asked if they had any other vendors and they said they could use Sone Edge/Blue Sky Counters out of Denton. Donnie from Stone Edge came out to measure a couple days later. Seemed very knowledgeable and seemed to care about our wants/needs for design, function etc (kitchen countertops, shower seat and vanity top). We got a follow up/quote from NFM (basically acting as a broker on the deal) a few days later. The price was inline with what we wanted and 2 weeks later our counters were ready. The install was fast. EVERYTHING was perfect (no damage to walls, no chips in counters, etc). This was an AMAZING experience. Thank you so much Donnie, Ricardo and everyone else at Stone Edge/Blue Sky.

This company was contracted through Lowes. Due to mistakes on their part, the job was delayed…read moremonths. It took 5 months to have my house built but 6 months to get a kitchen refresh and not one wall was taken down. Absolutely ridiculous! To go into full details of all that happened, would take too long. Here is a summary: They kept contacting my husband after being told MULTIPLE times that I was the POC for the project due to him being out of state. They cancelled the job, insisting I had canceled it and received a refund. No one bothered to look at dates. A rep from customer solutions finally did and realized it was another job that had been canceled and refunded. They chipped a piece of the stone during install and did not say a word. The installer only mentioned he knew it once the second installer came out to look at it. They did not caulk it after installation, one piece of the backsplash stuck out beyond the countertop and they used two colors for caulking. One side of my kitchen has white caulk and the other side has clear. They did not properly caulk/seal the seam on the countertop so the new guy that came out did it. It doesn't look good because they (original team) used white instead of clear and didn't smooth it out so it looks a little crumbly. The plumber and electrician were appalled by the workmanship, as was my neighbor. I had to have Blue Sky come back to redo one side of the kitchen. It still has two different colors of caulk and the piece behind the fridge is not cut right either. I would NOT recommend this company. $12,000 down the drain!!! Lowes gave me a partial refund on THEIR cabinet install due to all the delays and poor workmanship because Blue Sky refused to accept any responsibility. Nor did they offer any compensation. Instead, I was told "No project is perfect."

Having built 10 homes over the course of my life, I have seen it all in this industry--the good,…read morethe bad, and the mediocre. Because of that experience, I know exactly what excellence looks like, and Babs Golden at The Design House is the gold standard. Babs is a world-class designer who brings a rare combination of vision, decisiveness, and technical skill to the table. She doesn't just suggest ideas; she provides deep insight into why they work, ensuring the final result is both beautiful and functional. What really sets Babs apart is her "make it happen" attitude. She stayed involved in my project from start to finish, maintaining professional, crystal-clear communication the entire time. She also understands the importance of teamwork; her ability to collaborate with high-level partners like Stonemeyer Fabrication made the entire process seamless and stress-free. If you are looking for someone who is professional, decisive, and exceptionally talented, look no further. Babs is a Rockstar. Save yourself the headache of trial and error and go straight to the best in Denton.

It offers an…read moreimpressive variety of home décor and design options for bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, and bedrooms, providing customers with plenty of inspiration for both new homes and renovation projects. One area with room for improvement is the selection of custom design options. While the store does offer some customization, expanding its luxury and fully customized design services would better serve customers looking for more personalized, high-end home upgrades. The sales associates were adequately knowledgeable about many of the products. However, there were opportunities to provide more in-depth information about certain core products and services that are especially relevant to homeowners in this area. Customer follow-up could also be strengthened. I had to request a business card so I could ask additional questions and obtain a quote. A more proactive approach--such as offering a business card and inviting customers to reach out with future questions or project needs--would help build stronger relationships and create a better overall customer experience. Small touches like these can make a meaningful difference in earning long-term customer loyalty.
