The bartender and a food runner ended up bringing out our drinks and food--but only half of our order arrived. We were told the rest would be coming, but it never did. One person in our party of three was left without food while the other two of us ate. I tried to wait, but after a long time it became clear the missing dish wasn't coming. Once again, someone had to get up and ask for assistance since our server never checked back. Even after we finished eating, our dirty plates remained on the table while we sat there waiting, which added to the frustration. At that point, nearly an hour had passed with no resolution. The host did offer a complimentary drink, but honestly, that didn't make up for the experience. We eventually decided we no longer wanted the missing meal. Ironically, as we were paying and preparing to leave, the food finally came out. Given how poorly everything was handled, the dish should have been comped, but it wasn't. It's not your typical lychee martini. It has Aperol and pineapple, which gives it a great flavor. My only note is that I wish it were a bit stronger. For our entrée we got the beef tenderloin, another must get. It was amazing, super tender, and melts in your mouth. We had it with the fried rice, which was solid. For dessert we had the ice cream sandwich, which was different in the best way and extremely delicious. It wasn't too sweet and the cone "buns" were perfection.
