A bit pricey in my opinion. I got the chicken curry with rice for $13.95 and it was kind of bland in my opinion. The chicken was very flimsy and rubbery. The curry was not flavorful and the seasoning is not as strong as I thought it would be. Also when I got the chicken curry bowl, the plastic lid on top was melting and crumpling apart from the heat. The plastic lid couldn't close the bowl at all because of the heat. Also some of the rice was dirty and burnt. It was reddish purple. The place was very spacious with lots of customers. There was no background music. The garbage cans were piled up with lots of garbage. The staff cleaned it up though to free up some space in the garbage can. They got lunch specials with certain rice platters with a can of coke or water for $12.99 everyday from 11am to 3:30pm. Too bad the first time I got here it was at 4pm so I really missed the mark.

I was in need of a quick bite between Broadway shows, and I was drawn in by the seating and dumplings at Emperor. The food was fine! I really liked the soup dumplings. The interior could have been cleaner--especially the bathroom, which did not lock.

I was looking for something to eat after catching a show at the Majestic and the line at Los Tacos was insane so I was happy to find that this spot was just around the corner and boy it did not disappoint! Casual but cute atmosphere (it looks new), fast and friendly service and food packed to go so carefully. I ordered soup and they separated the broth and wrapped it in clear wrap so it wouldn't spill and so my meat and noodles were fresh when I poured it in. I got the Taiwanese Beef Soup and it was absolutely delicious. Broth full of flavor and tender meat. And I ordered the mango smoothie and it tasted like real mango (not artificial) and was super smoothly blended! Portions are a good size too! Prices are also decent for the area! My soup and smoothie ran about $25.

Steamed shrimp dumpling very good. soft fresh dough. Fried Pork dumpling average. Too light on the filling. Veg. Lo mein fresh and tasty. Not too oily. Need to add some other noodles to the menu. Prices a little high. Not Chinatown level but acceptable.

Really enjoyed this restaurant. The inside atmosphere was nice with ample seating. Dumplings and soup buns were delicious. They were filled with meat and not all dough. I also really loved the bubble tea.

Not busy when we went for lunch. Ordered on the tablet. Food was decent and price was reasonable. It's all disposable dishes. I would come back for quick cheap eats.

First off, this restaurant was so clean. Its hard to say that about most places in the city. We all just look the other way. The food was good too. It tasted fresh and not like it was under a warmer all day. I would check this place out for sure.

Perfect everyday $12.99 lunch special from 11-3:30, and I managed to catch it in the last few minutes on the kiosk. I opted for the mapo tofu, it is not the spicy red kind but more of a soy based sauce and very tasty with huge soft tofu chunks and tender beef. Plenty of vegetables mixed in and they were cooked to the perfect texture. Not greasy at all and super fresh and filling. Food came out quickly as well and with a smile. Overall I loved this fast casual spot and would definitely return to try their other food as everything looked divine. Clean and modern dining area, tons of upstairs seating as well. A lovely, affordable, quiet spot for a bite to eat, with many locations around the city. Def try this spot!

It's not your typical lychee martini. It has Aperol and pineapple, which gives it a great flavor. My only note is that I wish it were a bit stronger. For appetizers we had the yellowtail, which is a must get. It was delicious. We also had the lobster spring rolls, another great dish, and the crispy wontons, which were good but not my favorite compared to everything else. For our entrée we got the beef tenderloin, another must get. It was amazing, super tender, and melts in your mouth. We had it with the fried rice, which was solid. For dessert we had the ice cream sandwich, which was different in the best way and extremely delicious. It wasn't too sweet and the cone "buns" were perfection. Overall, this place is gorgeous and the food matches. I would definitely return. The service was also great, the perfect balance of letting you do your own thing and truly enjoy your evening while still checking in. It is pricey. We each paid $184 including tip, but it's definitely worth it for a special occasion or to spoil yourself a bit.

Best way to describe this is luxe Asian or bougie Chinese. If you are fan of top Chef it would be called soigné. We had three of the hot apps, Foie gras, lobster shumai with caviar and morel mushroom with spinach crystal dumplings. After that we're deciding between the quail and beef tenderloin wok dishes. Since the quail was spicy went with tenderloin which came with small serving of rice. All the food was great. I felt the crystal dumpling needed a kicked and they brought Out there house soy and hot vinegar sauce. For drinks I tried there mix of a classic martini with an old fashioned and after discussions with there somm who nicely recommended a more affordable bottle that would meet our needs got the Chardonnay by glass as a bottle. Enjoyed the meal though likely spent 5 times what usually spend on Chinese place mainly due to cost of alcohol. Place is well designed with a look similar to Butter downtown with the arched ceiling mixed with with the sound dampening feature of similar design of bar Boulod. Will return to try the quail and the lobster spring rolls and if they keep to this standard will increase rating to 5.

This new Korean spot in Hell's kitchen is open until 11pm and offers a variety of Korean bites, soups, noodles, and a nice soju-based cocktail menu. Their interior is a bit small, with only 4-5 tables, but it's cozy and inviting. Prices are reasonable here and portions are good. Although service was nice, our food took a while to come out. We got their soy garlic chicken, seafood pancake, and fried dumplings. Overall, we thought that the food was all okay. Although I enjoyed the chicken wings, my friends thought that the sauce wasn't very strong/lacked flavor and that the chicken was a bit too fatty. The seafood pancake was solid with lots of seafood in it and a sweet batter, but the sauce was a bit too salty for me (and it's the same sauce as the dumplings). And, I'm not the biggest fan of fried dumplings, but my friends enjoyed the ones here. Overall, I would be open to coming back and trying some of their entree items but otherwise, I think there are better pocha/Korean bar vibes.
