@foodie_starry This bite hit different. Savory Soybean Pudding - must order with chili oil for the full experience Fried Dough Stick - not quite the same as home, but still so satisfying with soy milk or tofu pudding Steamed Veggie Bun - freshly steamed, big and fragrant, just like home Shanghai Pan-fried Pork Buns - not super traditional in shape, but flavor's on point Purple Yam Congee - with red dates, not sweet at all, just comforting Numbing Shredded Chicken - super flavorful, pairs great with congee Shredded Carrots - sesame oil makes this side dish sing Mucho Orange - mango, orange, strawberry, banana & coconut milk = summer in a cup Iced Oat Latte - HUGE cup, great value!

Solid Chinese takeout that is pretty authentic. The winners are the mapo tofu and the beef noodle soup

I order here from time to time. They're not bad if you want something quick and enough bang for your buck. Shrimp tempura and spicy crab roll were good, the dumplings I didn't like at all, they tasted of pork only and no other aromatics, but they were ok. Love their soup because it's simple and pretty good. Shrimp tempura were ok but not the best. Overall not my favorite but not bad.

the food taste good, server is friendly and I am surprised the meal i order come out in a bento box way. Overall great experience.

Good for a quick bite - food was fresh made, as I was advised the soup dumplings would take 15-20 minutes even though we were the only ones there, which I definitely didn't mind for fresh food. Dumplings were good, Chicken Ramen was mediocre and had a rather fishy taste to the broth. The Miami Lemonade, however, was delicious! Butterfly Tea + Sparkling Lemonade. I would go back for that!

So many options (blessing and a curse) with very little description of the items. Tried some sushi, steamed pork buns, and beef noodle soup. The soup had a flavor profile far different than what I was expecting-- not bad, per se, just not what I typically enjoy. The sushi was fresh and rice was cooked perfectly; good pricing as well. The buns needed an accompanying sauce but has great potential. I'm no expert in this cuisine and I'd be willing to try other items here.

Authentic Chinese breakfast spot in time square. The buns are fluffy and flavorful! Love it

We like all things bubble tea. Stopped by and ordered using the kiosk. Very easy and helpful to see the product and customize everything from sugar to milk type, etc. ordered the matcha latte with coconut milk and grass jelly as well as the caramel milk tea. Wait was quick. Drink choices also seem more natural than most bubble tea places...that could be all in my imagination. Store is clean, with seats to relax. I think I'll try it again for sushi.

Fun self order place with a lot of variety at reasonable prices. Decent quality and fresh. Good option if you need a break from the prices and just want to relax near Time Square or the Port Authority.

Amazing 生煎包 dumplings. I didn't expect such a cozy spot for Chinese breakfast to just so casually exist at Time Square? Youtiao dipped in Doufunao is wonderful too. Such a nice nostalgic meal. It was self service for the most part so not much to say on service. Staff is very down to earth and friendly though.

Came here for breakfast with my family and really enjoyed it. The food was very authentic, the pan-fried buns, fried dough, and freshly made soy milk were all excellent. And they open early at 7am, which is perfect for breakfast.

The iced grapefruit green tea was so refreshing! Made with freshly squeezed juice, it tasted super fresh and natural. Perfect drink to brighten up the day!

I have to say I am surprised by quality of the food served here. Usually an Asian fusion lunch spot like this will try to sell everything to cater to everyone, which comes with compromise, especially during the the 12 noon lunch rush. For drinks, I got the Taro Milk Tea ($5.25 for Medium). This is as good as any of the brand name boba tea shops for possibly less in price. My friend got the Superfruit Oolong Tea ($7) which he really enjoyed. For food, I got the Signature Noodle Soup ($16), which comes with shrimp, beef, chicken, egg, and bok choy. The broth is rich and the ingredients used taste fresh. This by itself is filling. My friend ordered the House Fried Rice ($15) and got it spicy. This came with Beef, Shrimp, and Chicken. He was kind enough to allow me to try a few bites and I was surprised how well this tasted. Not overly greasy like you'd think from a typical take-out Chinese restaurant. He was only able to eat half of the portion and save the rest for another time, which speaks to the portion.

Got off the E train and when we looked for Chinese food, this place popped up with good reviews and it was just a short walk from where we got off the train. My buddies ordered the special lunches and we also got two types of xlb's, beef chow fun, and some fried dumplings. The special lunches come with a little fried rice, cold garlic flavored noodle, choice of egg drop or hot and sour soup, and main side. My buddies all enjoyed their meals. The beef chow fun was also really good and beef was nice and tender. The xiao long baos were excellent and is comparable to any place in California like DTF. Nice and juicy and great with some ginger, soy sauce, and spicy chili. Friendly service and food comes out pretty quickly. Credit card is accepted. Bathroom was also very clean, which is sometimes rare in some Chinese restaurants I have been to. If you're looking for a good Chinese meal, stop here when you're in the Chelsea area.

I hadn't been to EDH in a while and was happy to see they do have later hours (with a smaller late night menu). The place was pretty busy at 10:00 PM last Saturday, with a wide range of diners, which is good for business. The food though, at least that night, was really disappointing. My friend had the chicken dumplings. He said they were okay. I thought they were overcooked. My steamed shrimp shumai were fine, but steamed, they didn't have much flavour. The edamame, on the other hand, had way too much when it should have almost none. I don't know if it was excess salt, MSG or something else, but not good. I should have sent them back. I hope this was just an off night for the kitchen.

The pacing of the meal for the quantity of food received seemed very rushed, and we didn't really have a chance to relax and enjoy any of the courses. However, the quality of the experience was a complete disaster particularly for the price. Clearly, the packed restaurant would disagree, but for the four of us anyway, we would not return. It started with the check in process at what felt like a long hotel front desk with multiple, self important hosts and hostesses overseeing your entrance to the cavernous bar/waiting area. One problem is the noise is so deafening that you can't really hear what they say to you but we check in a few minutes early and waited obediently in the bar area chatting. After about 30 minutes (15 after our reservation time), and watching numerous parties large and small who arrived after us be seated by the hostesses wandering through the dimly lit space who peer quizzically and ask your name, my husband went to ask for an update. (We joked that those vibrating lighted buzzers alerting when your table was ready would have been super helpful, but it was amusing to watch while we waited). It was clear they somehow lost track of us as she had him repeatedly spell our (not unusual) name. Anyway, after that, within 10 minutes after that we were taken downstairs to our seats (but not before standing awkwardly in the large dining area near packed tables waiting while our table was cleaned). Server with a heavy accent was kind and mostly helpful so none of this is on him. The busser who managed to spill half a pitcher of cold water on my husband's back, soaking his shirt and jacket and barely apologizing, is a whole other story. We managed to get a glass of his mediocre Cabernet comped for the experience. If I sound annoyed, I guess I still am. I had high hopes for a fun and tasty experience in a cool part of the city and it just wasn't.

Then we got a handful of apps - everyone else swore by all the ones they'd had - but I just tried the Salt & Pepper Shrimp and... sweet baby Jesus, this little plate had a wicked amount of flavor from every angle.  "Aggressively seasoned" might be an understatement.  Wild. Onto the mains and I ventured towards their Spicy Drunken Noodle (my go-to whenever I'm hitting a Thai restaurant on my home turf) and... yeah, you probably guessed it - incredible. Not the biggest portion but they made every single component sing with flavor. With so much going on - of course I needed to indulge with another drink (hey, I wasn't driving!). There were six of us, it came to about $100 a person... welcome to NYC. But we did get a wide selection of plates/food and those two drinks accounted for about $40 of my tab. (And you'll never see such a heavy wine pour at a restaurant... they filled the glass almost to the rim - which was not even something I'd do for myself when I'm home.) Definitely recommended.
