    Bulgogi Bibimbap w/ sides
    Peta W.

I went in for lunch. It was a small space, quiet which was exactly what I wanted. I believe there's a lunch menu on some days. The menu looked delicious and I finally decided on a bulgogi bibimbap. Came out sizzling, it hit the spot. Topped with the sides. The drink was a nice wholesome flavor, but wasn't strong at all. Service was timely. Kevin was warm and pleasant and made sure I was enjoying my meal/ drink. It was a pleasant experience and the food is good. I would definitely go again.

I am glad 88 Pocha got cold noodles, it's very tasty, love the noodle texture, good size. Banchan is good too! The waiter was very nice, they are very dog friendly. Can't wait to try all their menu. Great addition to the neighborhood!

New Korean restaurant located on W45/10. There's limited seating inside, maybe 4 or so tables. The menu does say "Soft Opening Menu" so that might explain the shorter list of items. The food is quite reasonably priced ($16.95 for a Beef Galbi set), and tastes quite good as well. Came with japchae, fish cake, tamago, and some kimchi.

Food tasted all made to order which I really appreciate. There are only six tables but it will not stop me from coming back to my new local Korean spot. The service was excellent and I feel like I went home to my mum for dinner. We ordered the seafood pancake, garlic wings & spicy pork.

One of my favorite places in the city. My absolute favorite Korean place. Food is always amazing, but the service is without a doubt 11/10 every time. Highly recommend. This spot has become a weekly staple for me.

The kimchi stew is so comforting on a cold day! And the kimchilada is so spicy and nice. The service is excellent.

Great food, great service and a great new addition to the 10th avenue food scene! I'll be back!

The environment is very laid back, with dim lighting. The servers were very attentive, and the chef would bring it the dishes and explain them to you each time. The food here that we had was absolutely fenominal. We started with their house made truffle potatoe chips. Nicely flavored, just perfect amount of saltiness with a great crisp. The star of the show was the oyster mushroom tacos. By far the best single bite or dish of food. The flavor profile is so robust, with different textures, it was a true delight. I highly recommend their black sesame bread pooding as well. The bread pooding was so gooey, and crispy and melted, it was the perfect balance of sweetness, and paired amazingly with the cold ice cream. Highly recommend if you are interested in a true fine dinning experience.

We were seated towards the back of the cozy narrow dining room and immediately greeted with a smile from the awesome waitress Cherry. She was very helpful and informative with the unusual tapas menu. We ordered a selection of items, and each dish was so good! Starting with the brussel sprout starter, which was crispy, bright and delicious. we then ordered tteokbokki, described as a rice cake, but much more like little bowl delicious rice gnocchi with a creamy chase sauce. We followed with jjambong gambas, a creative and tasty shrimp dish, and the seafood ramen, very spicy and a real treat. If you get a chance, do not miss out on this sweet spot. Incredible food, astounding and attentive service, and all in a magical cozy dining room.

After ordering and sitting there a while, I had to ask my Bartender to check on my order the Coworker that he had been talking to and engaging with the entire time, ignoring guests went to check on it and came back to the bar to continue their conversation and never gave me a status as to what was going on with my order on the verge of walking out. My food finally came and she went back to talking to him and he went back to prepping for the evening I suppose, cutting up fruit (that she started to eat by the way as he was prepping. ) The level of unprofessional behavior blew my mind as he never checked on me. I requested hot sauce and as my glass sat there empty ,eventually had to ask for a glass of water disturbing their conversation once again. It's really a shame as the food was pretty good, (particularly the chicken which I added to my salad) but can never make up for the poor service exhibited today. I have no idea who the young lady is hanging out at the bar engaging with the Bartender maybe the owner's daughter, but I have no clue what role she's performing other than distracting him from doing his job.

When we told the server, he argued with us and said we had 3 drinks. Yes agree we had 3 drinks but you charged us for 4. The server was rude about it, took the receipt and came back with a new receipt that only took off half the price of the drink...not sure if that makes any sense but ok, I'm done arguing with people who are rude about correcting an error. So if you want to deal with servers like that, by all means...you definitely won't see me there again.

As soon as I entered, I was greeted by the owner, Lorena. She was very cordial, attentive, gave magnificent recommendations, and added to the enjoyment of the meal. I started with a glass of Red Sangria and was blown away by the size. The glass was almost the size of the Bryant Park fountain, the Sangria was sweet and refreshing, and the fruit was abundant. I ordered two tapas: Croquetas de Jamon Serrano (Ham Croquettes) and the Albondigas (Meatballs). The croquettes were nicely presented, I enjoyed the sauces that adorned each croquette, they had a slightly crunchy outer layer, and the serving was four. The meatballs were amazing. Each ball was flavorful, the serving was EIGHT!, and the accompanying sauce was succulent and was enough to fill every piece of bread. For dessert, I had the EZ Flan. This Flan was LARGE enough to share, thick, and the sweet syrup at the bottom of the plate was delicious. The final item was a Cafe con Leche (Coffee with milk). EZ Paella skyrocketed to my #1 choice for tapas and cannot wait to return with friends, so they can echo my adoration of this eatery. P.S. - Please, do yourself a favor and read the history of EZ Paella, which is on the menu. They made it through COVID and have enjoyed consistent success, since.

Do a city-event tie-in, a holiday takeover, literally anything that makes it feel alive instead of just... existing. Because right now it feels like a missed opportunity wearing a cute outfit. BUT--let's talk about the one thing they absolutely did not fumble: the view. The VIEW??? Insane. Genuinely stunning. The kind of view that makes you pause mid-sentence and remember you're in New York and not just spiraling in your own life choices. It's carrying the entire experience on its back, respectfully. So yeah. I'd come back... but mostly for the view and the potential. If they ever decide to actually do something with this space? It could be dangerous (in a good way). Until then, it's vibes... just not fully realized ones.

A Bright Spot in the Heart of NYC…read more After a long work day in New York City, discovering Debajo was exactly what I needed. The dusky, inviting atmosphere, chill music, and intimate vibe immediately made it feel like a little escape from the energy of the bustling NYC nightlife. And then there was Bernadette, my server, who deserves a special shout-out. She was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive without being overbearing, and genuinely brightened my day. Sometimes excellent service is more than simply getting the order right, it's a little bit of encouragement and warmth someone can bring with their authenticity. The food was fantastic. The Patatas Bravas arrived piping hot with an irresistibly crispy exterior. The smoky paprika was bursting with flavor and brought just the right amount of spicy heat, while the creamy garlic aioli rounded everything out beautifully. The Jamón Ibérico Croquetas were another highlight: crispy panko breading encasing a creamy, savory ham interior. The black garlic aioli added another layer of flavor, while the candied lemon peel gave the dish a wonderful burst of freshness. The Pineapple-A-Go-Go, was bright, refreshing, and perfect for keeping my palate fresh between bites. There's something special about a restaurant that gets the food, atmosphere, and hospitality right--and Debajo checks all these boxes. Great food, chill vibes, a beautiful atmosphere, and exceptional service. And Bernadette, thank you again for being such an encouragement and for turning the end of a very long work day into something genuinely enjoyable. You made my evening!

There's a covered "outdoor" section with lots of natural light, and the inside is spacious and modern, with a semi-open kitchen that makes it feel like you're in a place twice its size. The tapas we tried were great. Patatas bravas were crispy on the outside, with a fluffy inside, and maybe a touch too much salt. The hamachi crudo was excellent, with a unique coconut and mango sauce that gave it a touch of sweet to go with the zest. And the pulpo was great, the octopus was well prepared and the sauce was hearty without dominating the taste. The half chicken was the most memorable dish; our server recommended it, and it's clear why. It was unbelievably juicy and tender, with plenty of lemon flavor in every bite. Lots of meat, don't expect a small plate like the other menu items! All in all a good experience in a nice atmosphere, definitely staying on the list for tapas in the future.
