Lives up to the stars right here on Yelp. We have the cooked butter late and the pistachio matcha. The chef came out and had some niceties with my kids (possibly Emmett himself). Small little dining area. Loved both drinks. Also they have the best tots in town. The breakfast burrito was $ and the lox was a nice change on a toasted bun rather than a bagel. Yeah baby yeah! Visiting Columbus... my home town and was downtown and searched on Yelp for a place for breakfast. This restaurant caught my eye. It is not directly downtown but close. It is a small place but inviting. I had breakfast burrito with scrambled eggs, bacon, cheese, tater tots with salsa on the side. The burrito was presented beautifully, well seasoned and filling. I also had a delicious Latte with oatmilk. The café was bright and had a nice window view. This is on my list to return to try other menu items.

Great food on our visit! We went on a Sunday while checking out German Village. We didn't know there was also seating in the back, which was perfect with our 3 kids. The girls who served us were really sweet, and the food came quickly. You can tell this is a loved shop in the neighborhood. We felt like we were locals, and a part of the community just eating food here. I'd definitely recommend if you're looking for a chill spot, great drinks and food, and to bring your kids.

I'm obsessed with this business. I love it so much I went twice while in Columbus for two days. The other location (ambiance) is significantly nicer. All the food is in to go containers and the other location uses real plates/mugs... But the customer service here was on point! The breakfast burrito is worth every penny and kudos to the barista when I asked which is better matcha or chai latte? She said, let me make you my favorite drink, it's a mix of both. It was delicious.

Vibe is always a 10/10. Definitely worth the line/ wait for a good table outside on a nice day. The latte definitely could use less milk but was still good. Sandwich and tots were amazing as always. A columbus breakfast staple!

Updated review... still fantastic on all three pillars of taste, vibes, and staff! Get. The. Burrito.

It's a really small spot next to Moses and next to Blackbird. 3 small two tops and 3 4 tops inside and a few outside patio spots. The staff taking the orders is warm and friendly. Ordered an overnight oats, smooth as butta oat milk latte, turmeric ginger tea, breakfast burrito with a side of tots ($5 add on) and a south high side salad with a fried egg ($2 add on) over hard. I wanted an avocado too, but it's $3 for probably a half of an avocado, more highway robbery. Seems insane to be paying $5 for tots and $2 for an egg. Inflation is high and prevalent here and rolling to the consumer. $61.29 for brunch. They are out of their chocolate chip cookies just after 11am. The smooth as butta oat milk latte is good, the tumeric ginger tea isn't too bad. The overnight oats with the chi and honey is pretty good. It's simple, but tasty. The south high side salad is so-so. The falafel is fresh, but extremely rock hard on the outside. The breakfast burrito was good, lots of eggs, tots, a bit of prosciutto, avocado and cheese. It was well stuffed and filling with the tots inside as well as on the sides. Cleaning discarded plates was quick. The service was good, although it's fast casual dining and minimal interaction.

Always a great meal here! When we drive from the DC area to Chicago we stop here for lunch and it never is a wrong choice. It was cold this time through so we ordered ahead and got it to go. Amazing as usual!

I love pickled anything and this had pickled onions and chorizo

Excellent experience at Emmett's! I've been wanting to try this place due to the wonderful reviews. It didn't disappoint! The breakfast burrito and homemade salsa was full of flavor and texture with fluffy eggs and crunchy tator tots. My friend ordered a sandwich and it looked incredible. She loved it. I want to return and try it as well. It had chorizo, a runny egg, pickled onions and arugula, I can't remember the name of it, sorry! Bright and airy space in German Village--found street parking in front of Local Cantina. Definitely a fan!

Iced mochas are my go to and they are not all made the same. This one was perfect! Creamy without being too milky and you could taste both the espresso and the mocha. 10/10!!! It was so good we went back the next day -and we do not live close by. Our son then had an appointment at Columbus State and we made it a point to stop by for the third time in a week. This place is a gem! The ambiance, the service, the food -everything exceeded expectations. Highly recommend this place, my only complaint is I wish we lived closer! P.S. Try the honeycomb pastry ~ delish!!

I got the smoked salmon sandwich, maple butter latte, and a of course some macarons. My friend got the bacon onion quiche, chocolate pistachio feuillette, and a spiced apple matcha. Drinks were great. Both were creamy and tasty. I preferred the maple butter latte because it wasn't too sweet. I also wished mine came in a larger size. Smoked salmon sandwich was my favorite part of the meal. It was dill forward which was not an issue with me. The bread had a nice crunch to it. The cucumbers add a nice freshness that paired with the crème fraiche. I got a small tasting of the pistachio dessert which was rich but surprisingly made you want more. I like the nice touch of gold specks which made it very elegant. My friend enjoyed the quiche which was exciting to hear since they hate onions. They said they didn't even notice any. Can't wait to come back for some seasonal flavors Tip: Parking is a bit tough. Try to park a few blocks down since it's rare to find a spot right next to the cafe.

The pour over would have taken a bit of time, so I opted for the drip with oat milk and sugar. The girl who mine and my brother's orders was very friendly. She let us take a smell of the coffee beans from Columbia; unique scent. Thankfully it tasted much better! The drinks came out quick and are reasonably priced. The wasn't much indoor seating, outside, there was more. Less people today, the weather was not too great, so we took it to go. And again, inside area was packed with little room. A guy was actually walking his two dogs and was going through the line on foot. Not something on the bingo card, but hats off to Third Way for accommodating. And me being me, I forgot my water bottle and they kept it behind the counter when I came back to get it later. They didn't answer the phone or return my message, but a small place, small staff, I can see how it might have slipped the mind. My brother lives nearby, was a bit hesitant on the area, but we were fine. The parking lot could use some pot holes filled but, that isn't why you come here. Coffee is smooth and freshly brewed. So I was prepared to order right away at the window. I got the pistachio latte and they nailed the flavors! Delicious! Espresso was kinda light though but at least the syrup flavor was good. Staff was nice. I had a pretty short interaction with them at the window but no one seemed like they were in a rush. I'll be back sometime! Love the murals they've got on their walls!

The website is slightly puzzling, but you can figure it out. I have confidence in your ability. The coffee is roasted pretty expertly, imho. We can taste the difference between different origins, something I can't say about everyone's beans. Their prices are average, a good value considering that shipping is free on orders over $55 or so: three one-pound bags meets this criterion. And shipping is reasonably fast. We live too far for bicycle delivery, so ours comes by USPS in a few days. Only thing that bums me out is the decorated fancy fiberboard box that contains a stay-fresh bag of the coffee.
