NEW Beet & Butternut Squash Salad
    Tom C.

The salad was chopped which I love in a salad. The candied pecans and maple pecan goat cheese on top were out of this world mixed with the cabbage, kale, and sweet potato squash was def an amazing bite. We added smoked salmon to it and it was just kind of the cherry on top of the Sunday if you will. Added avocado as well. If I had to say something negative, I'd say that the dressing to dry ingredients was off. It was a bit dry. But very yummy. The turkey tzatziki sandwich was SOOOOOOO good. Refreshing, and super flavorful. Loved the honey and the cucumbers with the micro greens feta spread, man of man did it hit the spot on all levels. We also had some of the pesto avocado toast and it was so yummy we ate it before we could snap a photo haha. I will say, it was a bit pricey for the relaxed setting vibe of the brand and decor, but you get what you pay for so it was high quality fresh ingredient's and it was certainly delicious.

Nice vibe nice staff however purchased the overnight oats which were entirely fermented and sour, had to be thrown out. Previous customer threw them out as well. Got the bahn mi and the bread was rock hard and they put almost zero filling in it... Maybe it was a bad day

Love coming here for a short atmosphere change for studying. It's a cute environment that I can get with done in with gear drinks and food, outlets and WiFi so there's a lot going for me to study here. Smooth music! The food here though is really solid. I love their lox toast and avocado toast! The lox toast comes with avocado already! Their smoked Salmon on it is phenomenal and it's got that lovely crunch where it's still soft enough and not hard but has crunchy. my friends have gotten the egg sandwich which looks amazing and I was told was amazing and soft with that soufflé egg so I will def get that next time!

Food and service were both wonderful! I have been thinking about the Cookie Monster bowl since I've left and I will be back to try the pb smoothie forsure.

I can't say enough about alchemy. They set the bar across Cbus for fresh healthy drinks and smoothies. I don't get down often to this location but anytime I'm near I'm headed to Alchemy. It's so good that even my two kiddos ask to get smoothies there and I know it's healthy for them. The servers are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu and products....and they seem genuinely happy! They were a huge help with guiding the choices in our most recent visit.

I hadn't been to Alchemy Cafe in probably 5 years. I went with my partner and friend from out of town for a light lunch. I had the Banh Mi, which was on great crunchy bread, had a bit of heat, lots of fresh micro greens, and was a generous portion. It was a bit pricey ($13) but most sandwiches are in the 10-15 range these days. Sign up for their rewards account when you pay to save money on subsequent purchases. My partner has the egg sandwich, which had a great sriracha mayo and fantastic focaccia style bread. It was also an excellent portion and a bit more affordable ($9.5). The pistachio matcha latte (that comes with oat milk) was flavorful but a bit sweet for our tastes. The best news is anyone who is dairy free or has a dairy allergy has a ton of options on the coffee/latte menu. No need to add the extra $1 or more for oat milk like other coffee shops. Overall, I enjoyed the freshness, portions, and friendly service we received and will definitely be back.

absolutely love the smoothie bowls here!! you order when you walk up and you can get this order to go or there is a decent about of seating options if you'd like to stick around. the staff was very kind and helpful when my friend was debating on what to get and the food comes out pretty fast as well. the place itself is super cute inside! highly recommend checking out alchemy!! there is also parking outside the cafe.

Really cool smoothie shop that has a very nice modern vibe! The service is very friendly and the smoothies are on point. I love the interior decor with all the seating options and nice variety of plants. This is a great place to hang out or get work done with upbeat music in the background. Highly recommend checking out to get your health food fix!

Didn't realize this lil cafe existed so close to my house. Was in the mood for a good breakfast sandwich and this showed up on Google. I knew there was an alchemy in grandview but didn't realize parsons too. Driving by we definitely missed it since it's in the lobby of a mixed use building. Ordered a few things over the phone for carry out including two toasts, an egg sandwich and a smoothie. Staff was really friendly. They were out of focaccia that day so I got my egg sandwich with sourdough instead. Lox toast was incredibly tasty. Love the capers and onions. The egg sandwich was great too... the sriracha aioli gave it some nice heat. Do wish I got to try the focaccia so will have to come back. The only toast I wasn't super impressed with was the avocado toast. Tasted bland - needed some salt and seasoning. The bread it was on was not toasted long enough so it just tasted like avocado spread on a piece of bread. My husband enjoyed the pb power smoothie. Im not a big smoothie person but I'll definitely keep this place in mind if I have a smoothie craving.

It has been a while since I visited here last time. I got basil portobello sandwich and Bahn Mi with the mushroom pate. Both were light. I liked the basil portobello more. The mushroom was so flavorful! I also got an iced coffee and a blueberry cacao smoothie. Both were very refreshing! However I think the food and drinks were a little pricy.

This place is just the cutest with the most delicious "clean" food from smoothies, smoothie bowel, avocado toast, salads, coffee, etc. They have vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options. The staff is super friendly and helpful when deciding what to order. They have a small outdoor patio with a a few tables.

I'm a huge fan of Alexis Joseph and have been to Trism. This was my first time at Alchemy though. I came in on a Tuesday afternoon close to 3:30 and there were a few people on computers or grabbing smoothies to go. It's attached to a fitness center, so a lot of people were coming in for that as well. The guy at the counter recommended the Dragonfruit smoothie which had dragon fruit, banana, pineapple, coconut, lime, salt, and orange juice. It wasn't overly sweet and was very delicious! My friend got the same thing and then my other friend got the blue majik, which was more like a juice than a smoothie. It had almond milk, pineapple, banana, coconut cream, lime, maple, and blue majik (kind of like algae). It tasted a lot like a melted juice form of mint ice cream. Not my thing but it was unique and interesting. I also got a tumeric super food donut which was delicious! They have a lot of gluten free items here, like no bake stuff as well. My friend decided to snack on pesto avocado toast. The avocado has a creamy texture, so I'm sure they've added something to it to make it that way. She got it on gluten free bread and really enjoyed it. It's a nice, aesthetically-pleasing space. Lots of white with light colored furniture, plants on the walls and tables. They were playing a good mix of 90s and early 2000s music, such as Hootie and the Blowfish, Destiny's Child, and Goo Goo Dolls. Service was great! The workers are super nice and gave great recommendations about their favorites. I really like both Trism and Alchemy a lot. Their menus look pretty similar although their purposes seem different. They're located in different areas of town to appeal to all kinds of people too. I'm not in this end of town much so I'm not sure when I'll return but it's a great place! I like it better than Zest. I also really like the logo. It looks almost similar to the Zen Circle, an important symbol in yoga. Maybe because the business is all about fitness? Very cool!

Cute place to stop for coffee and snack. It has parking which is very convenient. I got a honey latte and a lox toast. The latte is very good and lightly sweetened, perfect for a pick me up in the morning. The lox toast is very fresh and taste so good. The smoothies look a bit pricy, average about 9$+. The space is cute and would be a good spot for getting some work/studying done but there's only one wall plug as far as I can find.

The crispy chicken cutlets were so well done that they were hard to bite through and that just ripped apart the now stiff old rolls, and of course now everything is pouring out. They were as solid as always, but there's some things I have to note: Frenchi himself always made our sandwiches to perfection. Toasted, hot, perfectly made. The two times we had another employee make them, they are just different. Same ingredients, but different ratios maybe? Today my husbands Eiffel came super toasty and meats/cheese heated up in a microwave (or toaster oven maybe?) My Buckeye always used to come warm, but only if Frenchi made it. Twice now, I got barely toasted and my meat wasn't warmed at all. Also, man I loveeee the house made chipotle mayo but today was just way too much sauce. Yes, I should have spoken up about what I specifically wanted, but part of my reviews need to include things like consistency. Today was fine, but not the 5 star I've come to expect. One star off for the other location being closed and not posted anywhere. One star off for inconsistent sandwiches.

Add in that the delivery driver spoke no English, tried to kick our English Staffy who ran out whilst smiling to say "hi" (if you know anything about Staffy's, you know they love people and don't have a mean bone in their body), our food was cold because it was delivered 1.5 hours late, and I was about to lose my flipping mind. Additionally, having had a Goodman's Deli mile high corned beef sandwich when I lived in Cleveland, I had even higher expectations. Their most popular sandwich is the Reuben so I went with that. Katzingers did not meet them. When I arrived to pick up my sandwich I was shocked the line wasn't out the door to place orders before they closed and the dining room had maybe 6 people in it. There were about 6 to go bags on the shelf along with mine. When I mentioned to the cashier that I was surprised it wasn't busier, she said it'll be busier tomorrow. I said the day after St Pat's? No answer. Another not good sign in my mind. When I got home, the wrapped sandwich was bigger than my hand but not very tall. The paper had areas of grease which is a good sign for this sandwich. The corned beef itself was tender but there wasn't as much of it, maybe an inch high and 1/3 of the bread had no corned beef. I also could not taste the thousand island dressing. The rye bread was toasted but pretty soggy. The crust was mostly crunchy. The bread slices were paired upside down putting a narrower side a larger side against each other. There is not enough sauerkraut and it is not very sour. I was given the choice of a dill or garlic pickle but I cannot tell you how it was because they didn't put it in the bag. I expected this sandwich to have so much meat in it, I could eat for multiple days for $18. Again, disappointed. Maybe I should've gotten the deli sized version but paying that much for a sandwich... The inside of the deli is fun and it's obvious it's been around a long time and has been well loved. I wanted to like Katzinger's but since the price and the quality don't match, I cannot.

Also, on Saturdays, you can order a pound of chicharron for $20. A bit about costs: I think it's a bit expensive. A single empanada is $5. There are price breaks for larger quantities ordered. Italian sub and double patty burgers are each $13. The Appolonia Italian is a decent size, but the buger, even with double patty, felt small. The service is super friendly! The quality of their offerings is much higher than average. Everything tasted really good, no notes. The spicy Italian is a bit spicier than I prefer with their version of a giardiniera on it, but Mr loved it. All in all, a generous 4. I'd get it again and recommend it with my notes so you know what to expect. (Sorry I forgot a pic of the burger)

Fat Arnie's is the place to be on Saturdays! The fried pork belly chicharrones are dangerously good…read morecrispy, rich, and packed with flavor. I swear I went into a full food daze while inhaling every single bite. But don't wait... these sell out fast and once they're gone, they're gone. Tucked in the back of Rafters Beer Pub is a hidden gem of a kitchen just waiting for your order. Trust me, this is one you don't want to miss.
