    Small Sweet Chai
    Claire L.

Saw the chef who owns this restaurant on the Food Network TV show 24 in 24. It seems like there is always a line around the corner but don't be too intimidated. It does go fast (15-20mins). It does seem like most people are ordering the drinks or togo. They have this fermented chai which I did not try but the sweet chai was great. Ordering was quick at the register and they were able to seat us inside. The food also came out relatively fast. Please note on Saturdays during the summer. The farmers market is going on from 8am to 12pm and it is very busy in the area. Parking is going to be 3-4 blocks away. The restaurant is also located in what I would call the downtown shopping market area of Worthington so it is already pretty bustling! The food was delicious and innovative. The tacos had a great crisp, and the cheese was super flavorful. They is also was a sweetness in the meat. The breakfast sandwich had very soft texture and some sweetness. You can also get the Bobby version that does have some spice. Overall, the eggs in the sandwich are cooked perfectly so soft the bacon adds nice fatty crunch.

I got the egg toast in a box and it was DELICIOUS. I can't wait to go back to Columbus to have breakfast at Joyas again! Everyone was so sweet and the cafe was super cozy and nostalgic!

This is a tough review. I've truly been looking forward to trying Joya's for ages. Met a few girlfriends for lunch. I had the not pad Thai and was surprised at both the lack of heat level of sweetness. Reviews mentioned the dish was sweet but it was overwhelmingly so leaving me wishing for some salty balance. The chicken samosa was crunchy but seasoning was underwhelming. The sandwiches my friends got looked great. Employees were polite. Space was small but lines moved rapidly.

The place is small but cozy. It was a pleasant experience, and the breakfast was delicious. A nice and relaxing place to start the day.

It was crowded today at 11 am. I waited I. Line with my baby and then they reserved a table for us inside. Not bad of a wait at all, they were very accommodating. I got the tacos with beef and they were so good!! My friend got the joyas fried rice (no spice) and that was lovely too. And the portions were huge, and very good flavors!!

Wow. They have a big lunch business!

The Party Melt sandwich is one of the best sandwiches ever. So much going on. Staff tonight was excellent, all around. I'm not wild about the lack of tables, but we did have a nice seat at the bar. When Joya's is crowded it's hard to move around. Bathroom is clean, well decorated, and good music. Thanks for all three.

Saw this place on Triple D, so had to give it a try. Came in on a Thursday at noon. Heard the place is small and often has a line out the door. Biggest problem was finding parking. Drove through several lots with others prowling as well. Ended up finding street parking right in front of of the joint. Line was not out the door, which was delightful since it was only 4 degrees out, but my butt was just inside right up against the door. By the time I got to place my order, a spot opened at the counter to enjoy the meal. This place is as much of a coffee house as it is a restaurant. I saw 4 taps and was hoping for an IPA, but they were for coffee and teas. Got a Diet Coke instead. Had the Smashburger and the fried rice to take out. The burger was one of the most awesome burgers I have ever had. I don't know what they put in it, but it was just downright delicious. The fried rice was for my daughter's lunch tomorrow, but I took a few bites of it just for quality control sake, and it was very good as well. Unlike any fried rice you have ever had.

FINALLY made it to Joya's and WOW! The flavor of everything was just incredible. The burger was excellent. Spicy but not too much. The friend rice might be my new favorite thing. So.Much.Flavor! Huge portion and psyched for leftovers. They were quite busy but moved through orders pretty quickly. We got lucky and snagged a seat at the counter. Very small space but as designed. Just set your expectations properly ahead of time. Whether you're able to sit down or end up having to take it to go, it's so worth it.

I cannot say enough good about this restaurant. I stopped here for coffee a few days ago and I have to say, its my favorite place to get a cup of coffee. It is just so smooth and creamy. Delicious. I always sit at the counter facing the coffee machine ,even of there are open tables (which isnt often as there are only 2-3 actual tables). The place is small but it is charming. The baristas always are fun to interact with. This time they tryied to teach me how to make coffee art. Lol Honestly everything I have ordered here is excellent.

Worth the wait! The staff work efficiently to get through the lines that form around busy hours. Recently announced they are open until 6pm on Fridays and Saturdays. There is minimal seating inside for groups but we didn't wait long at all. More group seating outside and lots of bar space for smaller groups. The food is soo good and flavorful. We enjoyed Taj Mahal beer with the Manchurian tofu sandwich, khati roll and not pad thai. Very shareable!

Kati Roll (crispy paratha stuffed with lamb, pickled onions, and eggs)

Joyas plays upon the best aspects of cuisine from Bangladesh. You might enjoy a glazed chicken sandwich, wraps, fried rice, or noodles. Whatever you order the Bengali flavors and spices shine through loud and clear. Kati Roll: A large golden crispy paratha forms the wrap. An egg is the inner layer and ground lamb is the filling. Spices, pickled onions, and cilantro add texture and flavors such as salty, sour, and sweet. If you order this Danny's Way, they add chopped up Thai chilies for some sweat-inducing heat. Nitro Chai: After the initial smooth, sweet, and creamy notes, you taste the tea at the end of your sip. Think of this as a mellow contrast to the storm of flavors of the kati roll. Ordering: There's a little line outside the door that takes about 10 minutes to get to the register. They're thoughtful enough to provide little samples of Thai tea while you wait. After placing your order, you take your Uno card to your seat and wait about 15 minutes.

After hearing many amazing things about Joya's, my friends and I decided to check this place out for brunch. When we entered, there was a long line where you order and pay for your food. They will give you a table card number and bring the food out to you. I decided to get the SamBurger, their take on a cheeseburger, and a Thai Tea. The Thai Tea was pretty standard and tasted great. I thought that the SamBurger was alright, as I thought it tasted like a regular cheeseburger with a little kick. I wouldn't recommend getting these dishes, but I would come back to try other menu items.

For brunch today I decided to check out Joya's. It is located on a cute strip of business in downtown Worthington. I visited Joya's on a particularly nice day so I was happy to see they had a handful of tables set up to dine outside. Inside you place your order at a counter and a server brings it out to you. The lady working the counter was friendly and complimented my shirt (good way to get a bigger tip from me lol.) I ordered the breakfast sandwich and a regular coffee. The coffee and water were both self served. I found the coffee pretty tasty. The breakfast sandwich came out surprisingly fast. The sandwich came with Pav-tato roll, bacon, cheesy eggs, chutneys, and chives. The egg was nice and fluffy and the bread tasted very fresh. The bacon really added to the sandwich as well. My only gripe is I would have liked a tad more of the spread on the sandwich. Overall it was quite nice. I also appreciated when I was ready to leave a woman behind the counter offered me a to-go cup for more coffee without me even having to ask. I'm glad Joya's is close to where I live because I can definitely see me visiting them more often!

An amazing amount of seating tables for communities or single set up spaces if you want to crank some out privately. The ladies restroom again, like the front of the establishment was spotless. The decor in the establishment is absolutely incredible. Very inviting not screaming white like you're at the dentist office but calm and peaceful. My sugar-free vanilla latte was absolutely amazing. To my understanding that is the only sugar-free syrup still they had it. I was on it. The connection I had at the counter was awesome. Asked me if this was my first time shared some background information about the coffee shop just incredible. Their efficiency is spot on you get a little red light flashy alarm that you take back to your table with you and when it buzzes your coffee's ready.
