The service was fast and the food was good. Chris was our server and was very attentive.

We have been here a few times, food is good authentic(ish). Smaller dining area with decent size bar. Unfortunately service was limited, we sat at the bar and ate, but the bartenders were also servicing the dining, so it was a bit in between interactions with the bartenders. We started out with the Queso w/ground beef, which was good, but could have used a lil more meat... I had the Ground Beef Taco plate and husband had the Chili Relano with ground beef with the red and green sauce. Looked good, he said it was the best he had had, and the tacos were great, meat flavorful and I love that they make the shells homemade, it keeps them crunchy! Overall good food, service just was just lacking this time. I'll still return because I really like their tacos!

Steak Fajitas Okay these were really really solid steak Fajitas, especially to go! The steak was juicy and cooked well, and they give so much onion and green + red bell pepper! Could've used more than 3 tortillas though. Chips and salsa were solid.

Delicious, low key, cool spot. You'd never know it from the outside but the inside is super nice. It's in a random strip mall near a Sam's Club and a Walmart! The only reason I docked a star is due to the service. There were two folks working the front of the house and getting napkins / silverware/ refills was a bit of a challenge. Even getting the bill took a while. The food itself is delicious and the portions are sizable. The salsa is legit and freshly made. We got a kids quesadilla, the queso (trust me and add the beef!), spicy shrimp, chicken fajitas, and a margarita. All was delicious. They do upcharge for things ($2.50 for the beef on queso and $2.50 for chicken on the kids quesadillas) but no complaints on that. Food prices are through the roof and they do have to make a buck! The fajita set up was epic as well! Pro tip: check in on yelp and get a free queso!

We tried this place for dinner recently and had a great meal. Kind of a hidden gem in this shopping center. The place is spacious and they had a high chair for our daughter. The complimentary chips and salsa were great. The salsa has a kick to it, but I'm weak when it comes to spicy. The queso was delicious. The mole enchiladas and gratinadas enchiladas were fantastic. Our waiter was attentive and friendly. Check them out!

Niche spot in a shopping center. Feels warm and inviting walking in, large bar seating area with TV's and plenty of tables throughout. Sat at the bar and service was great, quick and attentive. Ordered a frozen margarita with tajin, which was delicious, perfect blend of tang with a kick and not too sweet. Had the Meli's enchiladas with shredded chicken and tomatillo sauce on top. The sauce was sweet, but flavorful and the refried black beans were a great touch. Priced well, food was good, would come back.

I swung by Emilio's Mexican Kitchen in Dallas and was genuinely impressed. The salsa and queso felt made-from-scratch, the fajitas were juicy and flavorful, and their tajín margarita had the perfect tang with a kick--I'd happily order it again

The service felt distant and rushed. Our server seemed unfamiliar with the menu, gave us conflicting information about drink availability, and rarely checked on us. We specifically asked not to be rushed, yet our entrées arrived while we were only a quarter of the way through our appetizer. At one point, our food was delivered while we were outside getting fresh air. The food was also disappointing. The scallops and chicken were extremely salty and lacked flavor, and the chicken was overcooked. When we brought it up, the server did little to address it. To top it off, we saw two large cockroaches around our table, which was especially noticeable in the dark dining room. The cocktails were the highlight, but overall, the service, food, pacing, and cleanliness did not meet expectations. One star. Very disappointing, and I'm not sure I'll be back.

We were huge fans of Meddlesome Moth(which had closed a few months prior). The beer list didn't excite me(I'm a beer snob) but the bar vibe and the great staff quickly made me forget about that. We eat there twice a month now and when we don't get in on a regular schedule, we really miss it. I'm a huge fan of the steak frites and my wife loves the weekly pasta dishes which never disappoint. The cocktails are great and they're made by the friendliest barkeeps in town(Matt, Christine) Christopher keeps the place flowing and Brittani(owner) is great and always welcoming. The overall vibe is comfy and totally unpretentious. Goldies is a hidden gem but has quickly become a popular spot. Great spots like this don't stay hidden very long. Highly recommended! Carter L

Food, however, wasn't great, we came multiple times last year and it was fantastic all around, last night?... New risotto appetizer was flavorless 4/10, sauce was outstanding 9/10. Chicken meatballs were 6/10, salty, but sauce again was 8.5/10. Bread with the meatballs was 9/10. Nightly special was 9/10, chicken thigh wrapped chicken leg, amazing sauce and carrots. Special sauce with the nightly special stole the night at 9.5/10 - I'd order a bowl of that and call it a night! Magic Chicken Thighs were 6/10, overly salted and dry - side arugula salad was a salt bomb 2/10. Sweet potatoe purée was 7.5/10. Burger and fries were 7/10, solid and above average. Salmon was 7/10, slightly overcooked. Mac & Cheese was 3/10, below average, dry, almost flavorless - paid $4 for bacon topping and it was dry also. Noodles were dried out and the cheese sauce was at the bottom of the cup, tasted like they scooped in pre-made noodles, added sauce, threw it in the oven and off it went - didn't appear mixed together at the least. Carrots, solid 8/10. Overall, I'd be tempted to give it another try, the ambiance and overall feel is awesome - then hope the food is great again and make it a perfect Friday night spot, but for $275 for the 4 entree's, 2 appetizer's and 2 drinks we got last night? I'd argue it wasn't worth it.

We were seated and taken care of by our server, who was so sweet and very patient. We ordered drinks. I had to get tea because I was chilly. Outdoor seating at night isn't the greatest because it was very dark, so we stayed inside. The food was exceptional. The herbs they use are picked from their local garden, and the food is incredibly fresh. I ordered the marinated lamb kebabs and Hummus. By the way, their hot tea is fantastic. I highly recommend it but the food was also delicious. The only thing is that the Hummus was very salty but still delicious. The dessert is the best part of the meal. We came in near closing time, but Emilia provided us great service and stayed attentive even though they were clearly packed. We were seated at a table near the door, and unfortunately it had a vomit smell. Whatever it was, my friend could not stand it and had to get up and step away from the table. We first thought the culprit was the paper drink coasters, but then the staff removed the door mat near us later on, so maybe someone puked on it and the smell lingered, even after it was cleaned up. Clear Mizu ($16): This has Sakura vermouth and bitters, so we ordered it. It tasted like straight up gin and was not good. It was actually one of the rare times my husband could not finish his drink. Kyoto Sunset ($15): This one wasn't bad and tasted like honeydew. The ingredients include honeydew Calpico, so that makes sense. Johnny Walker Black ($16): This was our friend's drink, which I think was just coke and Johnny Walker. Nothing special about the taste either. Given the smell and so-so/terrible cocktails, we will not be coming back or taking our friends here.
