I had surgery with Dr. Emil Kohan on January 3rd, and he and his team have truly exceeded my expectations. From the moment I submitted my consultation request, Myria, the surgery coordinator, has been incredible. She was my primary point of contact and provided detailed, helpful information every step of the way. Myria was attentive, patient, and never once pressured me into anything I wasn't comfortable with. She went above and beyond--ensuring I had everything I needed for my surgery, sending me a list of local hotels, and even helping coordinate post-surgery care. She was always available for any questions I had (even the ones I thought were silly) and made me feel completely supported. Catherine has also been extremely helpful with payment information and submitting claim forms, making the financial side of the process smooth and stress-free. On the morning of my surgery, Sophia assisted me with all my paperwork. She was kind and professional and has been the familiar, friendly face I see at all my post-op appointments. I also had two nights of post-op care, and I cannot recommend Yahira (Yaya) highly enough--she's an absolute gem. Yaya is incredibly hardworking, attentive, and thoughtful. She ensured I took my walks every two hours, helped manage my drains, kept track of my medications, and even helped with my breakfast the next morning. Her dedication and care are unmatched, and Dr. Kohan is lucky to have her on his team. If budget weren't a concern, I would have loved to have her with me for a week! I've been following Dr. Kohan for about seven years, and I've always known he would be the one I'd choose for cosmetic surgery. His bedside manner was a breath of fresh air--calm, friendly, and reassuring. Any anxiety I had before surgery disappeared after speaking with him. If you're considering surgery, I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Kohan and his team. Their expertise, care, and professionalism are unmatched--you won't be disappointed! read more

I had an extraordinary experience with Dr. Kohan and felt compelled to share my journey. Opting for surgery last minute with a specific deadline, I was referred to Dr. Kohan by friends with stunning results. Despite being from Miami, the virtual consultation was scheduled promptly on the same day I reached out. The proposal arrived within an hour, and they seamlessly accommodated my last-minute scheduling two weeks before surgery. The team provided excellent support, keeping me well-prepared and consistently in touch. The friendly and supportive staff made flying from Miami to California worthwhile. I'm thrilled with my results, I got a BBL and breast implants, the nurses continue to check in every other day. I saw Dr Kohans work on tik tok an Ig and was impressed with the results. I contacted his office through an online inquiry and was promptly contacted via text by his surgical scheduler. She said she would arrange for a virtual consultation and asked me to send some photos. I did and shortly after I received a text that the doctor had reviewed my pictures and she sent me the quote and asked when I wanted to schedule the procedure. I thought I hope that wasn't the "virtual consultation". It was; according to her but that wasn't satisfactory to me. I wanted to meet him face to face. They accommodated my request quite promptly. He was SUPER nice. If it was based on him alone; I would have scheduled but I felt a little rushed and pressured by his office staff; almost like they are herding cattle. That is NOT what I expect when they are asking premium prices in a cash business, at an office on Rodeo Dr. The staff wasn't rude but a little too pushy for me. There is a way to meet the bottom line and still provide exceptional customer service. 5 stars for Dr Kohan! read more

I went in for a tummy tuck with muscle repair and a pubic lift, breast reduction and lift, and a BBL in March 2021 with Dr. Kohan and it has been the best decision of my life! Not many surgeons would feel comfortable or confident enough to take on a case like mine but I knew I was in great hands. I had struggled to find a surgeon who could do all the procedures I was interested in getting well and to my satisfaction so you can imagine how relieved and happy I was when I found Dr. Kohan. I knew right away he was going to be my surgeon. I trusted Dr. Kohan and he and his staff took excellent care of me. I went back in July for tummy and arm lipo and a little more fat transfer to my hips and butt and Dr. Kohan sculpted me amazingly! I was not easy to shape but Dr. Kohan really knows how to sculpt a woman's body and surpassed my expectations! He snatched my waist and gave me the booty of my dreams. Dr. Kohan is kind, intelligent, generous, talented, professional, and has the best bedside manners of any doctor I've ever come across. He answers all your questions and makes you feel at ease and comfortable. He is responsive despite being super busy and takes excellent care of you. He really cares about his patients and wants you to be happy. You can tell he loves what he does. I had lots of follow-ups especially in the beginning and I appreciated that because it shows how involved he is in your recovery. My recovery went great and I'm still healing beautifully. Recovery is a long process and you really have to trust the process and stay positive! My scars are looking great and I'm only 5 months post-op from my first surgery. Dr. Kohan's surgical technique is excellent and my tummy tuck scar is ultra fine and super straight and the placement is nice and low. His ability to do breast lifts with no implant is incredible! He did an amazing job and people still can't believe I don't have an implant. His belly buttons are beautiful and I'm obsessed with mine. They are perfectly shaped and he doesn't leave you with that coin slot look. All in all, Dr. Kohan is an amazing surgeon and a true artist in my opinion. He has an incredible eye and is truly gifted. He changes people's lives for the best and I'm so grateful for him. He's a top surgeon for a reason and remember you get what you pay for. Dr. Kohan was worth every penny. My friend recently went to him for a TT and breast lift and she is beyond happy with her results! So many people have asked me for my surgeons info and I'm happy to pass the info along. read more

Where do I start! As soon as I contacted Dr. Emil Kohans team I was reached out to almost immediately by an amazing girl by the name of Myria. (She may as well be the face of the surgery clinic because she does it all- anything you need she has your back and will make it happen) if you are looking to book with Dr. Kohan SHE is the one you want to speak to. I mean that with no disrespect to anyone else employed there but it is so evident that she genuinely cares about her potential clients & will respond immediately to any questions you have. She is NOT a salesperson, she is truly dedicated to setting potential patients up with an appointment with a surgery that will change their life in the best way possible. This is not a Miami/DR/Mexico chop shop type clinic where it's an assembly line of unknown people playing the role of "surgeon" in and out of rooms where your life is on the line not only because there are multiple surgeries being performed at the same time, but because the people at these other clinics simply don't care. At Emil Kohan M.D. Your surgery day is about YOU and YOU only. I had previously made the mistake of making (non-refundable) deposits to not only one but TWO other surgeons located in Miami, literally within a month before making discovering Dr. Kohan but decided against undergoing surgery with them for many many reasons. One of them being that their team will legit harass you until you've made your non refundable deposit, then somehow become impossible to reach which is pretty hilarious imo. Myria stayed in contact with me through it all. Even sending the occasional random "how are you doing Jessica?" Text message out of the blue, Which is so above and beyond. (I had booked my surgery a little under a year out, and then due to horrible circumstances had to reschedule a few months out even more) Myria kept me on top my labs (I was suffering with slight anemia & high wbc count) , making sure everything was set In a timely manner., Surgery Day! Brooke at the front desk was pleasant and professional, and the anesthesiologist who's name I am so ashamed I do not recall was so charming and caring & was just so great. My comfort concerned her so much that she had even reached out to other former colleagues for advice on how to keep me comfortable during my operation and post op. (Which was tricky due to medications that I am currently prescribed) Now the doctor? Oh my god. I felt like I was meeting a celebrity when he walked into the room. He looks like a literal supermodel or actor but he is so sweet and kind. I was so nervous to even talk to him about my goal body (which actually was the body of a patient of his funny enough) that I said absolutely nothing about it, but he and his team are so professional and on top of things, it turned out I didn't even HAVE to, because he already KNEW what I wanted because like I mentioned previously, the day was about ME,,and they had already gone through my goal pics I'd sent a few times to them and spoke specifics regarding my case etc before beginning the day. Following the surgery, I was given my prescriptions , and wheeled out to the car where one of the nurses (unfortunately don't remember her name either but she was very sweet) explained to my husband quickly how to care for me post op) When I returned home I had once texted Dr. Kohan and within minutes he called me phone. I was in such shock I felt like friggen Jon Kortajarena (but Dr. Kohan 100000 infinity better looking than him in case you were wondering-lol) was calling me and I got the courage up to answer and he patiently spoke with me about my recovery , results etc and asked me to send him photos of my progress occasionally. This doctor truly cares about his patients and he is worth every single penny you spend. If you are looking for a safe, caring worthy, amazing doctor that will give you the results you want SAFELY **. Look no further. Get in touch with Myria asap and you will not be disappointed. Any follow up questions or problems you have , the team is there for you every second of the way call hours of the day. If you are considering surgery there is no other Option Dr. Emil Kohan is the way to go 100000000% read more

So it's been only 6 weeks since my surgery, fully mommy makeover. I can't find the right words to express how much doctor Kohan changed my life!!! After 2 kids, one C-section my belly was huge and my breast was big, not even and proportional,my butt was flat and no matter how much I kept my hard diet and intesiv exercise routine, I couldn't get rid of the apple shape and the boxie look, it was so depressing to be in the loop that no matter what you do your body is not feminine enough. I came to Kohan's office for consultations, and right away he knew exactly what's bothering me, and talked about a surgery plan that will give me the best results, I booked immediately for my surgery within 3 months. To be honest?! I was so anxious about it,(after all is a big one) and I have to say that doctor Kohan calm me down, and he and his staff was beyond patient and professional, any question that I had they answered right away, and made me feel comfortable and safe. After the surgery I saw the results right away all though I was swollen, the recovery for me was easy thanks to the recommendation for the oxygen chamber and the lymphatic massage (which I recommend as a MUST). 6 weeks later I'm writing here to tell you that this doctor is a real artist! He knows exactly what he doing and more than that he actually listens to you and your needs. I came down from size 12 to size 6, from wearing only leggings and big T-shirts, now I'm wearing tank tops‼ I'm literally enjoying buying clothes, not like before when going to the mall was a nightmare for me. My body is snatched and I'm looking WOW, I feel wow and just the compliments bring me the confidence that was hide behind the XL T-shirts.. Doctor Kohan if you read it I'm telling you here again I ADMIRE YOU! Thank you for changing my life! My BEST choice ever!!! read more

He was so detail oriented, listened to all of my expectations, and delivered even better results!! I've gone through different surgeries before and this experience was by far the best. I had minimum down time, was taking over the counter pain medicine just a day after surgery and felt significantly better each day. Dr. Kohan has changed my life. He is hands down the best surgeon in his field, and this experience of getting a mommy makeover has exceeded (beyond) my expectations. Dr. Kohan is a true artist and a gifted surgeon, he took a lumpy overweight Mom of two and transformed me into a goddess. I cannot believe this is my body. I shopped around and had previous consultations, but no one had before and after(s) like him. His body of work really showcases his talent and his precise executions. Aside from being a perfectionist that does spectacular work, he also has a heart of gold. He is so attentive and has the best bedside manner. He is receptive, honest, and overall, just an amazing human being. And let me tell you about his staff, they are as top-notch as him. His office coordinator Myria is a gem, she held my hand through the entire process, answered every innocuous question I had, and rooted for me like I was her sister. His anesthesiologist Michelle is the best and quite possibly the warmest person I have encountered, his nurses Ana, Yira, Anna and front desk Brooke are the office MVPs. And as importantly Carol (LOVE this woman) his massage therapist is an angel with healing hands. She is a miracle worker and every session made me feel like a new person and really helped with my healing journey. When I tell you this staff changed my life, I truly mean it. Dr. Kohn not only did you give me back my life, but I am a completely different person thanks to you. You are pure magic and going to you for my transformation is the best decision I have made. Dr. Kohan, his Patient Coordinator Myria and every member of his staff is wonderful. I went to at least 4 other consultations, some people told me when you meet "the one" you will know. NO, I am not talking about dating but the doctor/patient chemistry and relationship you will have with your Plastic Surgeon. The other doctors were all very nice and very qualified BUT I didn't feel that "connection". I arrived at my consultation with Dr. Kohan, as soon as he walked in the room it felt like I had been reunited with an old friend. He is so personable and a truly genuine person. He is not going to tell you that something is a good option for you or that it will look good when it won't. He IS going to describe in detail what he suggests (based on what you have have told him you want done) and he is going to do and how he is going to do it. I also had a forehead osteoma that I was very self conscious of but of course it wasn't covered by our insurance since they determined it was "cosmetic". Dr. Kohan was able to get rid of the bump and used an existing scar so no new scar AND the bump is gone! He is so passionate about his work, he left no question unanswered. My husband felt the same and we decided to go ahead and schedule everything after that 1st consultation. I had a Tummy Tuck w/pubic lift, Breast lift and augmentation and I had a bone growth bump on my forehead (forehead osteoma) that I was very self conscious of but of course it wasn't covered since they determined "cosmetic". Dr. Kohan was able to get rid of the bump and used an existing scar so now my bump is gone too. They drew my blood, got all the pre-op stuff started and I scheduled my appointment for surgery on 8/23. I was not shopping around for the cheapest plastic surgeon however I also didn't want to pay more than "the going rate". TRUST ME...CALL THEM! You will not be disappointed... They just recently moved so their new address is: 11645 Wilshire Blvd. Ste 905, Los Angeles, CA 90025 read more
