I love my FUE hair transplant with Dr. Lee and his techs Melissa and Liza. They were able to restore my front hairline and temples and it looks 100% natural up close and in photographs. What a find! Would highly recommend getting a hair transplant from Dr Lee and his team. I had been considering going abroad to Turkey, Cancun, Colombia or Tijuana; but I was apprehensive because I was always able to tell when someone had gotten their transplant abroad. Me: 39 year old Asian male (Korean descent) Operations: Blepharoplasty (eye lid surgery) and lower eye area fat grafting About seven years ago when I was in my early thirties, my left eye (but only my left eye) began to produce a natural crease and turn into a double eyelid. This meant that even though I was born with two monolids (the traditional east Asian eye), I started having this asymmetry that was getting more and more noticeable to me. After considering the surgery for a few years, I decided to finally take the plunge and chose Dr. Lee to perform corrective surgery to balance out the shapes of two eyes and restore symmetry by making both eyes have the double eyelid. Because I was going to have surgery anyway, I also decided to get fat grafting taken from my stomach to the lower parts of my eyes to give me a more youthful appearance as I had started to get eye bags and hallowed out looking eyes, again somewhat asymmetrically. It has been about a month since the surgery and I am so happy with the results. I am very glad I picked Dr. Lee and his team, even though I live in a different city and had to fly into LA for the procedure. Dr. Lee was worth the additional cost of traveling and staying in an AirBNB during my recovery. The team: Dr. Lee and Michelle were my main points of contact and they walked me through the procedure step by step. I felt very prepared for the procedure and the recovery. They treated me with the utmost care and professionalism. The recovery: - I only needed painkillers for the first three days. I was noticeably swollen for about 1 week after (typical). I was fine to go to the gym and exercise after 2 weeks. 1 month out and I'm completely normal. - My recovery was longer due to the under eye fat grafting, but I am so happy I did this as I feel like it brings out my natural youthfulness. The result: - I wanted the procedure to be very subtle and I'm happy to say that it has been. Deeply impressed with Dr. Lee. I had two prior consultations with dermatologists regarding a bump on my forehead. Neither one seemed to have a clue how to deal with it. TLDR: Dr. Lee is awesome and is probably the most honest and reasonably priced surgeon you'll meet in LA I recently moved to LA from NYC and Dr. Lee is the best among surgeons/dermatologists I've worked with for face issues. I had a deep chicken pox scar from childhood on my face similar to an acne scar that was made worse by other dermatology procedures I tried. Dr. Lee filled it with Bellafill permanent filler a few weeks ago and it already looks like the scar is completely filled in. He's really friendly and reasonably priced compared to NYC places which I think is similar if not more expensive than LA.
