On the way to the shop, we also had a tire blowout that caused additional damages and insurance getting involved. After having our trailer for nearly three weeks, we received a call saying it was ready. We were told the tires had been replaced, the wheel bearings repacked, the inspection completed, and the skylight repaired. However, before we picked it up, we received another call admitting the skylight had not actually been repaired. When we arrived, we also discovered the A/C had not been serviced and the window caulking had not been done either. My biggest frustration isn't just that the requested work wasn't completed--it's the lack of communication and being told repairs were finished when they were not. After waiting three weeks I expected honest communication and for the work we requested to be completed or, at the very least, to be informed if it couldn't be. We had to call many times for updates and to ensure our trailer would be usable by the 4th of July weekend. After picking up the trailer on June 26th we had requested a manager to call us and were told he would call on the 27th. Today is July 1st and still no call to date. Unfortunately, this experience left us feeling frustrated, disappointed, and unable to trust the information I was given. I hope Campers Choice improves its communication and follow-through so other customers don't have a similar experience.

I had occasionally done business with A1, sometimes small purchases, sometimes donating old parts, and decided to drive the 106 miles (each way) to see if they could help me. Both owners spent at least a half hour with me showing me used stoves, looking up and printing info on new stoves, and educating me on the pros and cons of RV stoves. I'm kind of sorry to say that when I got home and took an educated look at my old stove, I decided to keep it. It has some important features I would have to give up and I wouldn't have known that if not for A1 RV. Maybe they didn't make that sale but they did make a loyal customer.

Mike listened to what I was looking for, took my requests seriously, and quickly delivered the used truck that was perfect for my needs. It has been two years, and the truck hasn't failed me. After having previously purchased a lemon from another dealer, I practically begged Mike not to be a crook--I know, it sounds weird, but it's true--and he wasn't. He didn't rip me off. I won't say it was a perfect experience. There were a few snags along the way, but it was the Christmas season, and we should all expect some delays during the holidays. The complaint I want to make is for the parts department. They asked if I would be willing to take a used swaybar, and I said yes. What they did not explain is that it would completely fall apart in my mechanic's hands a year later. Trust me when I say that I didn't drive a lot during the first year. It was a simply bad part. Still, I think the business deserves a thumbs up overall. The fact that I was sold a good truck is the most important detail. It will be the last truck I own in this lifetime. I'm happy with it. I purchased a brand new trailer with a GVWR of 7k with an empty weight of 2k. Within the first week I had a blown tire that caused extensive damage to my trailer. I understand how flat tires can cause damage and I only wanted the dealership to stand behind the product they sell and give me a new tire. I called immediately when the tire blew and the tone of the dealer changed from when I purchased the trailer. When I bought the trailer, they were very helpful, friendly and I really wanted to support this small family owned business. They were not friendly or nice once the sale was made. Once they discovered that the product they sold had a problem they got defensive and it was very clear from the manager on the phone that he had no intent of standing behind his product. I stopped by a few days later to show the tire to the dealer and get a replacement. It was very clear that they were annoyed that I was there. A customer was buying a trailer and she was treated very nicely probably because they wanted the sale and wanted the money. After an extensive wait and clear indications that this dealer only wants to sell trailers, not take care of customers I left and will take further action. I buy from a dealer so the dealer will stand behind the product. If I buy new tires from discount tires, I go to discount tire and they warranty the product. I don't have to call Goodyear direct. Very sad because I hate supporting the big stores Iike Walmart, trailers plus etc but you get a company that actually takes care of customers with the big chain stores. My father and I have purchased 9 trailers in the past 5 years (RV's, cattle trailers, flatbeds etc). I was going to buy from Trailers plus but I really wanted to support a small business.
