We just purchased our fourth Jayco spread out over the past 30 years and our most recent experience at Baydo's in Chehalis was hands down our best experience ever. From Sales to Finance to Parts and Service, each interaction was handled with the utmost professionalism. It was worth the 100 mile drive (even going past another Jayco dealer that was closer). A special shout-out to our salesman, Jody. We spent considerable time on the phone and via text or email getting specific information on the particular trailer we wanted. Jody made several trips to the trailer to send us pictures of various items we were questioning. When we decided we wanted to see the trailer but couldn't make the drive for several days, Jody marked the trailer as "sale pending" based on our promise to come. After we looked the trailer over and decided to buy, we consummated the deal with nothing more than a handshake and appointment to pick it up a week later. When it came to trading in our 4 year old trailer, Baydo's gave us the highest value, matching another dealer's offer and $4,000 higher than a third dealer we had contacted. This was sight unseen over the phone! When we sat down with Adam in the finance office, we prepared ourselves for the high pressure tactics we'd come to expect based on past experience. We were pleasantly surprised when we were able to simply turn down the extended warranty and not have to say "no" multiple times. We were even able to pay for our all-cash deal with a personal check. Josh and the team in Parts have been very helpful in ordering additional keys and parts we need, even arranging to ship the parts directly to us so we don't have to make the long drive to pick them up. We had a issue driving north with our RV. We weren't sure exactly what was causing it so turned around and went the 2 miles back to Baydos. Went in to talk to them. Weren't willing to help. Weren't willing to walk outside. So, we thought maybe it's just a battery. So, we bought a battery and asked if someone could put it in for us. Normally, if you buy a battery at Napa, they will be more than happy to put it in. Nope. It was a little heavy for us to take the other battery out after it was free. Another trip back inside asking if someone could just lift the old battery out. Finally, a fella did do that. They were so unwilling to help and deifnitely very poor service. While I think I got a great price on my NEW rv two years ago it's been nothing but one thing after another. The door kept flying open. The ouside lens cover blew off. The fridge exhaust vent cover blew off. Three recalls and the poorest customer service EVER. I am still waiting AGAIN to hear from somebody in the tech department because after the last "service update" I'm unable to use any outlets in the rig. Searched all over state for a specific trailer and finally found one and cut a deal at Baydo's, check in hand, (pre-approved for way more than they could comprehend) I went in for the normal PDI-pre-delivery inspection. Very limited staff was on hand, (which is ok, willing to wait for trailer) went through trailer on my own and marked with blue painters tape (like construction inspection) anything that needed to be fixed since no one was there to do a walk-through with me. THE OWNER called me later that day and said he was refusing to to fix anything that was marked out with blue tape or fix anything at all because that's the way it comes from the factory!!!! Can you believe that??!! Cancelled order for trailer on spot and will be going to another dealership that understands customer service and that the ONLY reason that they are in business is because of the paying customers. No one should be treated this way after purchasing a brand new 2021 trailer. Steer very clear of this place! You've been warned! read more

We spent many Saturdays here looking at endless amounts of trailers and Jody was always so patient and supportive of us! He never pressured us to buy or to persuade us to look at trailers that were bigger than what we wanted. When we finally decided on the trailer that was best for us two years ago, Jody was there to guide us through all of the paperwork and financing information. He was so helpful and gave us great advice on nearby campgrounds. When we picked our new trailer up, the guys spent over an hour going through every part of it to make sure that we throughly understood how to operate everything. When an area of the trim inside was coming off we just stopped in at the Baydo's yard on our way out of town and they came out and fixed the issue immediately. When the time comes we plan on trading our trailer in at this same Baydo's mainly because of the excellent customer service that we have received from there. Salesman didn't understand what's hybrid trailer was and when explained that I found a Lockwood, he said I should buy it. No discussion of how Jayco might compare, offer for a card, or any other customer service extension. Felt like I was being told to leave the lot. Stay away from this place. Went in to buy a toy hauler from Baydo's Chehalis. We did our own financing and was working with Jody (nice guy) we agreed on price and was in the process of picking up our Rv, super excited!!! They called us said the RV was ready for pick up and we made sure to ask if they RV was clean and ready to go. We were assured yes and we made our 59 plus mile journey one way to pick it up. Got there all they were worried about was the money not customer service or show us that our Rv was ready. After showing the check to them they than decided they would show the trailer. WHAT A MESS!!! big black spot right as you walked In to the unit, dirt everywhere, awnings missing parts, seals busted and missing, screws through the bottom of unit. It was unbelievable..... to say the least. We asked the person who was doing the walk though why things were not done he simply said the detail guy was garbage and they would send someone out to clean at our house and what did we expect?? It was a unit that was a 2019 and of course it would be dirty......???? Perplexed by his answer while he had a massive chew spitting everywhere. We said we bought this as a new model and that was not what we agreed on. The Rv was missing other items they said it would take 4-20 weeks to get them as the factory was difficult to deal with. (Made ya want to buy even more) lol. But we understood their mistakes and looked the other way trying to give them an opportunity to make things right. We spoke to our sales person Jody about things smoothed things over and we were moving along again. Monday we received a call from Cory Baydo's himself wanting to make sure we understood things and that he wanted us all on the same page, he began trying to tell us that they discounted the trailer because it was a 2019 and that is was going to have problems and we needed to except that and that it was not going to be perfect. I let him know that that was NOT how it was sold to us and that we understood it was missing items etc but they could of at least cleaned it and been a little more respectful to folks that were spending close to 50k. I also let him know it was a huge waste of time when they tell you things are done we drive 100 plus mile round trip just to go back home empty handed. He than said "if you would just shut up and listen" we were done!!!!! I told him he could F*** himself and was not going to treat me like sh*t and hung up the phone. Cory this message is for you..... treat people right and don't be a slime ball you would not have these issues. You would of had another trailer under your belt. Just picked up our popup camper that we took there to get fixed for the summer season. There was a soft spot on the floor we asked them to check out. When we talked with the person who hadworked on it, and, I think unfortunately may be the manager, his response was very disrespectful. Us: "can you tell us about the spot on the floor?". Him "the whole floor needs replaced". Us: " wow, really, how much will that cost?". Him: " more than the camper is worth". Really? That's your answer? He then proceeded to lecture us about how we should have been sealing it every year (which we didn't know), and then said "I do MINE twice a year". Ok. Thanks buddy - how about trying something like, "wow, I'm really sorry the place where you bought your camper didn't help you know about things like that. When we sell campers we work with folks to help them learn about those kinds of things. Here are some things you could do to get some more life out of your camper". That would have made me a loyal customer. Now I'll never go back there for ANYTHING, and I'll tell everyone I know not to go there. In fact, we passes Uhlman on the way to this place. In life, we encounter many obstacles, challenging and some not so challenging, because we usually can rely on others to give us a helping hand, most of the time people are willing to go out of their way for someone else, it's because we have all been there. That brings us to the topic of this sad but true story I'm about to tell you, It started on 8-19-2016 In Chehalis WA. At the Baydo's RV lot. Scott went into the store to purchase a few items he needed for his camper, spent right around 200.00 dollars, service was good. One of the items Scott bought was a tank to drain the gray water into so to empty it. So that is what he did. When the portable tank was full, a Freind loaded it into Scott's truck, and he drove down to Baydo's the following day. He arrived at Baydo's in Chehalis and got out of his truck, one of the personal from Baydo's came over and greeted Scott. At that time Scott asked the man, do you have a place I can dump this tank full of sewage, the man confirmed what Scott Already new by saying yes, Scott replied could you please help me drain this tank, the man replied we don't deal with sewage tanks and walked away. So Scott got his wheelchair out of the truck and got his self into it and struggled, and struggled with that tank while those to Baydo's Employee's stood on their two legs watching this one legged man battle in his wheelchair. I got home from working all day to hear this disgusting act of unkindness. Immediately I called Baydo's in Chehalis WA. Only to find out they had closed for the day. On 8-20-2016 at 11:30 Am I called Baydo's in Chehalis WA. to report this cruel act, The lady that answered the phone was very pleasant, I asked can I speak with someone with some authority. The General Manager picked up the phone; I informed him of this despicable and unusual behavior.
