I bought a trailer to haul my dirt bikes and quad, so that it is an effortless process to load and unload our equipment.

Appt to come in for a purchase? - Smh I arrived at the Chehalis location gate early and called, they waited until the appt.time to let me in eventhough no other customers on premises.. The sales person, Jeff, promptly told me that he has a meeting in 20 mins. I asked WTF, are you here to make a sale or meetings? I saw a couple trailers and wanted to proceed with a cash purchase of one on the spot. While I was waiting for my appt time I went to other local dealers and got a quote. Jeff said he contacted his Boss and got the ok to match the price the other dealer quoted me on similiar trailer. I said great, I'll take it. When Jeff was supposedly finalizing the transaction he couldn't reach his boss again to reconfirm sale and told me to just get the trailer from other dealer that quoted me a price. This place was a waste of time, I don't understand when the place is empty why an appt is necessary Totally unprofessional and unorganized. Don't waste ur time with these ppl. Gary happily showed me the actual trailer, answered a few questions I had then we went back inside to complete the sale. The Title and registration process was made quick and easy by a very competent and pleasant woman but I unfortunately didn't catch her name. I arranged to pick up my new trailer the next day and when I arrived I decided to add a spare tire plus I needed to upgrade my towing equipment to exceed the trailer's 10K rating. They had everything in stock and when they brought my trailer to the front of the lot a few minutes later, they'd already mounted the spare tire. Two very efficient young guys prepped the trailer by torquing all the wheel lug nuts, attaching the trailer including the ball and coupler, safety chains, and breakaway switch to my truck, then testing the trailer lighting. No lights. Unfazed, they retrieved a testing kit from the shop and began troubleshooting and quickly determined the problem was in my truck's electrical system. We checked the basics, switches, connections and fuses - still no joy. Then Kyle came out to assist. Of course it was raining and the parking lot was wet and muddy but that didn't stop Kyle from digging deeper by laying under my truck to check 7 pin socket wiring. Kyle quickly determined that my truck's socket was the issue and, like a true professional, he quickly removed mine and replace it with a new one, with no hesitation or drama. This might seem routine to many but I've spent a great deal of time working in the trades and young men like Kyle are an unbelievably rare commodity. While everyone at Olympic Trailer & Truck was great, Kyle was responsible for completing my transaction with absolute satisfaction.

I placed a call to Northwest trailer and RV and spoke with Dan about purchasing a trailer. He…read morestated he had a 5 by 8. My daughter and I went and looked at the five by eight that he was speaking of. I told Dan that we wanted that one . I explained to him that we were leaving the next day first thing in the morning and needed the trailer quickly and told him that I wanted to get the financing rolling. He said it takes a little bit of time and that we would have to call the financing company. We did so. While waiting for the approval from the lender, Dan called me and said he had another trailer, same kind only silver, in the showroom that would be easier for him to get out. I told him no I wanted the white one that we chose. He proceeded to tell me that he would not be able to get that trailer out until noon the next day. I said we are planning on leaving at 6 in the morning. He said your going to have to go with the silver one or wait. So ultimately I had to tell him I will come look at it. I went and looked at the exterior of the trailer. The trailer was backed close enough to the wall to where I couldn't look inside the back and due to the urgency of needing a trailer , which Dan knew that, I ultimately was forced to actually say fine I'll take this one. The finance company that he works with he knows is in Florida. They are 3 hours ahead. So in speaking with Angela I was advised that she received the the approval and was told by Angela in Florida that we missed the funding time which was 2 p.m. eastern time, which would have been 11 a.m. Washington time. So before he even sent in the paperwork with the trailer information to the financing company that was when he reached out about the silver trailer. He knew that it wasn't going to happen that day and he could have told me, I'll have ample time to get that other trailer out because this isn't going to happen until noon tomorrow anyway. But he didn't. The next day I went to pick up the trailer. I opened up the back I immediately saw all the tire marks in the trailer looked at the door and saw the water damage on the door, I said this trailer is used. He said no it isn't, I'll show you the title. I said look at the tire marks and the damage here on the door. He then admittedly stated well it was used to haul tires. I said so it's used it's not new. Ultimately I was forced to take a used trailer at full new price. He didn't so much as state that he would reduce the price because he knew that it was a used trailer. One tire on the trailer you can definitely see somebody ran it up against the curb as well. His business practices are exceptionally poor. I was 100% taken advantage of because of the urgency of my situation. I am going to speak with the lender and also the company that funds the loans along with the pictures that I had taken and let the funding company know that Dan is selling used trailers at full new price. The warranty card that i signed and Dan said that he would be mailing it in, though I'm not confident that he actually will, I'm going to reach out to the Manufacturing company to confirm whether he sent it in or not . I will advise the manufacturer of the trailer of the condition of the trailer and that Dan sold it as new when it was definitely used and filing a complaint and i will advise that he fully admitted that the trailer had been used to transport tires and he is continuing to offer warranties for the trailers that are used. I have purchased numerous trailers, including horse trailers, throughout my life. This trailer is probably about the 10th cargo trailer that I have owned. Maybe Dan thought that because I was female that I didn't know what I was talking about or would not notice. When I advised that the trailer was used, Dan became very defensive. After that he didn't say two words to me. Whatever you do, go somewhere else. Go to somebody who is honest and fair and does not take advantage urgent situations. I guarantee that when you look at a trailer, and he's got a used one that he cannot offload to anyone else, he's going to do the same thing to you.
