We are first-time trailer buyers, and wanted to talk to some folks about what are trailer options were. We knew our dimensions, and we knew our usage level, but were trying to figure out what was reasonable for our truck and our budget. We were able to park right in front of the facility, and the parking spaces are appropriately size for vehicles that would be towing. We were greeted immediately upon entering by a very nice salesman who was not pushy, and asked really good questions about what our needs were. He walked us around the property, showed us multiple options, and answered our questions about Towing, dimensions, weight, accessories, options, and how to hook up a trailer to our current vehicle. Once we decided on which trailer we were going to purchase, the process was very quick and efficient. We will be taking possession of our new trailer once some accessories are ordered and received. Five stars for the buying experience. If we don't alter this review, we took possession of the trailer as expected. read more

They took their time going over my trailer and making sure my truck and hitch were up to snuff before leaving the lot. We have seen Freeway Trailer Sales from I-5 for years and it's not far from our home, but there are 3 trailer dealers all together near Olympia, so we visited Freeway after checking out those other trailer stores. As another reviewer pointed out, nobody came out to greet us at Freeway. We looked at their inventory, took a few photos, and left. We studied their website that night, compared the different trailers, and made a decision. Next day we returned to Freeway, took another brief walkabout, then went indoors to talk to the sales manager, who was pleasant, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. We made a deal on a very good Wells Cargo trailer with a 4-year warranty that cost only slightly more than the economy trailers at the Olympia dealers that had minimal warranties. (The price was so good that we forgot to dicker!) Freeway sells Haulmark and Wells Cargo. The no-name trailers at other dealers have to be loaded with upgrades to be anything like an entry-level Haulmark or Wells Cargo. I am happy to have a really good trailer within my budget and a dealer close to home for parts and service. read more

These guys obviously have no interest in selling a trailer. I stopped by their new location on so Tacoma way. It was Sunday so I didn't expect them to be open but thought I could window shop. The place has huge fence around the entire place. No big deal, I could walk down the city sidewalk and look right? WRONG, a motion detector turn up all the way to big brother mode came on and activated loud speakers that said " You are trespassing on private property. All your actions are being recorded. Please leave immediately. " They clearly want to hang onto their trailers. Forever. I have cash to buy a trailer. I won't be buying it at freeway trailers. read more

I recently received some great and speedy help from Charles and his crew when my hoist cable plug stopped working after some 10 years. They have skilled mechanics here and are in high demand, so it is possible that the wait time may be somewhat long in the summer, although they were able to get me in quickly this time. Also, I can say that the sales staff is helpful but not at all high pressure. Don't expect them to be like used car salesmen. i had 2 very negative experiences with them. After installing my trailer hitch they had spliced into the wiring incorrectly and not fixed it. Copper was exposed so it could short out. They also cut a way too big hole into the plastic bumper of my car. Additionally they charged 50 dollars more then they originally quoted. On my second encounter i wanted to buy a trailer from them. They asked for 2810 dollars. I offered 2800 and they refused. Which dealer does not even give a 10 dollar discount. Hopefully this review can protect some people from having bad experience with these guys too. read more

I just spent a good 15 minutes looking at cargo trailers at Freeway Trailers in Milton. No one came outside to help me with sales. So...I went into the office and began asking questions about a Wells Cargo trailer they had in stock. The sales man stated it was sold. I ask if they could order one. The guy said, its a premium trailer so he doesn't order them for their lot. I ask if he could order one for me. He said, NO. I couldn't believe it! The impression I had was he must be prejudice...if not he didn't want to sell me a trailer because it was "preminum" as he mentioned and perhaps he thought I could not afford the best. I'm on my way right now to a dealer in Olympia with $4,000 cash in my pocket. I'm moving out of state and need a trailer by this weekend! Sorry, I couldnt spend my money in my home town however, I feel much better going to a friendly dealership that wants my green money althou its out of my way. I would not reccommend Freeway Trailers to anyone. I also didn't want to give this dealership any STAR rating but Yelp requires at least one....so....one star, not deserved! read more

We purchased a Wells Cargo trailer from Freeway Trailer Sales earlier this month. They allowed us to look around the lot without any sales pressure. We had visited other trailer lots and felt the Wells Cargo trailer was of superior quality. We picked out model we were interested in, but they had white wheels on a silver trailer. We asked for them to change out to silver wheels and they did it for no charge. They were friendly and accommodating and the price was reasonable. After they had us all hitched up to go, we decided we wanted a drop hitch to level the trailer and they installed that for us quickly and at no charge. I have since been back to purchase a spare tire and again, experienced great customer service. Would highly recommend. read more

This note is intended to assure others that once you leave Freeway Trailer Sales with your repaired trailer (and may be hundreds of miles away) you are not "out in the cold" or given excuses or delays (the run around) on warranty service. They back their work up professionally and take the quality of their product personally. On a Friday I brought in a Wells Cargo 20ft that had not seen maintenance from the previous owner and needed complete new brakes and extensive wiring repairs. When I arrived at my first destination (400 miles) I had concerns that I expressed to Leo over the phone, he promised to relay my concerns to Charles the next day since Charles was off that day. Charles called me the next morning (Saturday) and called the trailer repair shop in the town I was near to arrange for warranty work. Shortly thereafter he called me back to tell me to bring in the trailer to this shop for repairs. The trailer was fixed the next day. Charles called again to see if I was happy with the trailer. If you have done your homework, you know that Wells Cargo are far superior than the orher brands. BUT do yourselves a favor and drive farther north to Bickford Ford and Trailer. Freeway Trailers have alot of complaints about ignoring customers or snap judging that one can not afford the trailer. I was ignored by every person there, on my way out i was asked if i needed help, only because he seen me in my 2012 lift Dodge Laramie. Spend your money where it and you are appreciated: this place isn't it. FYI, I live less than 2 miles from Freeway, would've been SO convenient. read more
