Driving back from Seattle to Central Oregon we had an unexpected engine misfire. We called AAA and got towed to Auto Tech Services of Centralia. (AAA approved auto repair facility that's been pre-screened) this was late in the day and we fully anticipated this would be a timely fix and were stressed trying to see how we could make this all work with pets and a young child at home. Shane and Sean both were extremely professional and helpful from the moment we walked in offering us water and a clean bathroom. They diagnosed our problem quickly and offered us a quote and options. John offered to stay late to work in order to get us back on the road the next day. (So thankful to you John!) The team helped us secure good accommodations at one of the newly remodeled hotels in the area and shuttled us there and back the next day. They called back the next day when they said they would. Despite the unexpected setback, this shop was outstanding in both their both their customer and prompt service. Absolutely awesome service...not only to my vehicle but to me as well.while there I was served BBQ HAMBURGER ,POTATO SALAD, CHIPS THE WORKS...all because I mentioned they had taken out the candy machine lol..PS the burger was the BEST EVER ...THE SALAD WOW...My wife put in a request for order to go but sorry no take out lol.My vehicle service has always be spot on and I have always been treated very well here.In my opinion I would recommend them as the place to go.You will never make everyone happy but they DO THEIR BEST AND GO THAT EXTRA MILE TO TRY TO DOGET THE JOB DONE RIGHT ,Rick Hoar.PS I have had more than one vehicle done here and different types and sizes..one medium duty truck.Not many shops can even work on those. read more

Brought my daughter's car in here because of some pulley noises. They quickly diagnosed and gave me a report link via text with details and pictures. I felt labor charge was very fair and it was done when promised. I like to find a shop close to my work that I build trust with and we're off to a great start. Their diagnostic came back with a pretty hefty list of issues but I did not feel pressured into anything, they helped me prioritize what I wanted to get done. Had them work on my car they did their diagnostic and charged me a rediculous cost... claimed it was low on oil and that they then topped it off. after the work was done i got the vehicle back and drove to oreilly .... when i went over the vehicle to make sure it was in order after parked it went to safeway for 30 min and came back... I found it was low on oil... 2 quarts low as it was barely on the dipstick... so i went home and checked the online report of what was done and everything ... yeah they claimed it was done but they also had pictures and info from a big truck and claimed my tires needed attention*(pictures were from a pickup... and i drive a compact car) so decided to give another chance and asked for an estimate on specific repairs i need done.... all i got was "you will need to drop it off with us for 3 days and pay a 150 diagnostic fee to get an estimate." needless to say I'm done with auto tech services all around.... poor quality control and typical predatory auto shop practices. read more

I have lived in the Twin Cities my whole life. I have never heard anyone say anything negative about this place. In fact this place is usely the first place I hear people recommended to go to. I have never been here cause I do most of my auto work myself but if I need a place to go it will be here. read more

I've brought my car the there Rochester shop and they couldn't find any problems that I stated but they wanted to replace my rear calipers and break pads and wanted to top off several oils that were low and fix my e breake line that's hanging a little low all for over 3k. Not only that I got my car back with the engine shaking I called them about that and sounded like the guy didn't want to do anything even though I just got my car back from diagnostic. If there Rochester shop is run this then I can imagine there centralia shop is the same. I can see I am not the only person to review this such thing. So off I have to bring my car to another shop to find out what auto tech did. I wouldn't recommend a place that I would never go back too. So good luck if you take your chances with them read more

My Kia Sorrento's engine stalled last Monday morning while I was traveling 70 MPH on I-5 South near Chehallis with my two grandchildren and my sister. Through Divine intervention we safely coasted to the shoulder from the fast lane. We could have been killed. My car was towed to Leduc's Service Center based on AAA recommendation. I am so glad it was. Randy, the owner, was kind, knowledgeable, pragmatic, and honest. Best of all he wasn't condescending when he spoke to me; unfortunately in mostly male industries I've had that treatment. He didn't sugar coat it, and he didn't charge me one penny for the diagnostics and the research that Dustin did. Dustin went one step further than he had to in researching the cause of the engine seizure (a Kia engine recall), calling Kia corporation to obtain a case number for me, and what steps I needed to take next. I truly thank them for their professionalism and compassion, and I highly recommend them! read more

I went in to get a free diagnostic. And I was ready to get induction service done for a little over 200. I was getting a diagnostic because my truck was stuttering as I was driving. So I assumed it was my plugs. So I thought while doing a diagnostic might as well get induction service. I drop off my truck I think everything's fine and I get a phone call. My plugs were covered in anti-seize and had to get them off for to work. Which is kind of weird because it's normal to put it on them.They said they would clean them when they did the Induction service so I think,awesome ,so I'll probably be closer to 260 or 300 I'm thinking. No the mechanic said it was going to be 500 for it. I ask him why, because when they did the diagnostic they had to touch my engine. That was never discussed. And they knew I was getting work there but they are going to charge for a free diagnostic! So I had to go walk and pick up my truck. Also I had to pay for the Free diagnostic to get my truck. read more

Took my family vehicle in because it was acting strange. Would stall out, or almost stall out, regularly. Heard their ad on the radio and thought it was pretty good, so I figured I'd give them a chance. I asked them to give my rig a tune up and was quoted $175. I'm not a mechanic, it just felt like an issue with the spark plugs, etc. After a "diagnostic" test, they called and told me that it was my fuel pump. They said it was going out and that it was intermittently stopping the flow of gasoline. The way the car was acting, that made sense, so I OK'ed the $700+ repair. They called me up and said that it was done and tested fine. I came in and laid down the cash and before I hit the freeway, the care was sputtering the EXACT same way as before. I called them and they said to bring it back and they'd make sure the fuel pump was put on correctly, yada yada yada... The next day I get a call from them... I can't remember the name of the part, but it is a small square piece that sat on top of the distributor cap and the wires had been crunches so there was a bad connection. That bad connection was what was shutting off the electrical part of my car and shutting off the fuel pump intermittently. Of course I was extremely upset at this point, but was pretty nice when I asked the tech on the other end of the line "Is this something that you would have found if you had done a tune up?" He said that it was, as they've have to take off the distributor cap, etc. So, instead of the $175 tune up that I was originally quoted, I paid over $700 to replace a fuel pump that was perfectly fine. Of course, I never got a dime of that money back because "we did install a new fuel pump for you, and that is going to extend the life of your vehicle." I asked them to park my vehicle outside their gate in the parking lot and leave the key on the passenger side tire. They did and I went to my local auto parts store and bought the SEVENTEEN DOLLAR part and put it in myself. I've heard of mechanics having no scruples, but that was my first experience seeing it firsthand. Had I been WRONG and they gave me a tune up and the care kept cutting out, sure... check for other issues. But I literally told them what I wanted done and, instead of doing it, they "diagnosed" a different issue and cost me a lot of time and money. I'm usually a guy who gives places a second chance... not this place... Not after that experience. read more

He and his crew went above and beyond in fixing all of the problems and we will definitely go back with future vehicle problems. The fees were very fair and their work comes with a 24 month warranty. We were following my son from Seattle to Eureka CA when his car broke down on I-5. As new member of the USCG he was going to his first station and had to be there the next day. We called AAA for a tow and recommendation and they directed us to LeDuc's. While we were waiting for the tow truck my husband called and talked to someone at the shop....they were hesitant to diagnose over the phone but given our situation made a call for an alternator just in case that was the problem. They were wonderful to deal with and said they'd do their best to get us back on the road by 5pm (if it was the alternator). The part arrived when they said it would, it WAS the alternator, they had us back up and going several hours ahead of their estimated time. Price seemed reasonable and we felt like we had fast, quality work done on the car. They wished my son the best in his new career and station and we were on our way.
