Excellent performance shop! Took my 2025 EV6 GT to get lowering springs & wheel spacers installed. I also had them do my alignment & wheel balance to bring everything back into spec. Everything turned out great! Fantastic pricing & very knowledgeable. Highly recommend!

I wanted to bring down my ride height with some Integrated Engineering lowering springs. The team at EMD gave me incredible pricing, and talked through expectations with wheel gap, possible use of a reverse rake kit etc. If you own an Audi and are within an hour of this shop it is worth the drive!

ATTENTION DAZA/RS3 OWNERS. EMD Auto is where you want to have your car built or serviced at. I had catastrophic engine failure on Stage 2-E85. Even blew out my bevel box as well. EMD rebuilt everything and sourced another bevel box. I added more supporting mods for an upgraded turbo. I also installed their lowering springs with other suspension mods. They dialed my RS3 in and she's a perfect street car now. Thomas did all this work for me at the best price I could've had quality work done for. I absolutely recommended EMD Auto for your RS3.

I currently live in SF / Bay area and made the drive down to visit my family and get some EMD parts installed on my B9 S5. The process couldn't have been easier, I made the appt with Thomas a couple months back, dropped off the car on a Saturday and they had it ready the same day! Very happy with their products and service. I had a lip kit installed as well as EMD springs, spacers and sway bar. I high recommend EMD for any of your audi servicing needs and their products have been great so far!

The people that work here are AMAZING! Very easy to talk to and very knowledgeable. Drove an hour to get here and will continue to do so for any mods I need for my cars. Will definitely recommend to all my friends. Thank you Thomas and Tyler!

I have been in the automotive business for 30 years. I can tell you that being in sales it is crucial to communicate with prospective clients before and more importantly after the sale as a long term client. All of my emails were answered within 15 minutes by the EMD team. I expect that from my sales personnel and that's one of the reasons why we are successful. Thomas and the crew took care of my son's Audi a few days ago and treated him with utmost respect along with excellent service and pricing. Having been on the fence to get my personal car tuned for over a year, I jumped at the opportunity to get it done by EMD Auto. The end result is nothing but smiles along with a future loyalty for EMD. Next step, lowering kit and possible ongoing maintenance as I always use a VW dealer every 5k miles. I also want to thank the young man that gave me a bunch of shirts. Shame on me for forgetting his name. My wife drives a new Q5, one son a MK7 GTI and the other in the Audi A4. I can ASSURE you that EMD will be seeing us in the near and distant future. Mahalo guys!

However, I followed up a couple weeks later asking if a certain date worked. I even explained that I had been busy and said the only time I'd have to bring in the car would be the following week. I paid $450 for this wrap and an extra $100 for the wrap itself. When the first job was done poorly, I went back to the shop to address the issues and they said they would fix it. I texted on a Tuesday expecting a response, and I waited until Sunday to follow up again. Instead of Lisa taking accountability, she told me I "did not reach out," which is extremely unprofessional and untrue. I had apologized for being busy, and I did reach out; she just did not respond. When I reminded her the job was poorly done and how there had been no response, she took zero accountability and tried to use my words against me. Lisa ignored my response when I explained how the situation should have been handled and how she failed to reply in a professional manner. As the customer, I should not have to teach someone how to treat me correctly or how to run a shop professionally. I wasn't trying to start problems; I stated the truth about the situation, but she did not like that. I went back because I had already paid and just wanted the work corrected. I dropped my car off again on Monday around 11:30am. The shop texted me claiming the wrap "wouldn't adhere," which I knew was an excuse. I told them to proceed because the material was fine, and if they couldn't install it, that was their shop's error. The rest of my car's wrap was perfectly fine. To double-check, I contacted the previous shop, who confirmed this shop was making excuses, saying, "The wrap sticks just fine. It sticks on the rest of your car fine. They're talking nonsense." I knew they no longer wanted to service me, and I no longer wanted their service either. I paid a good amount of money for this treatment. I made sure the job would get done. The shop told me the job would be done by Wednesday late afternoon. This was the second time they confirmed a deadline and failed to meet it. I made it clear from the start that I have a busy schedule and cannot afford delays, yet they did not respect that. Removing and rewrapping a front bumper is a 1-2 day job, it is not like I was asking to wrap half the car. I set a boundary that if it was not ready by 5pm Wednesday, as they confirmed, I would request a refund. My whole car was wrapped, had parts added, brakes caliper color change, and badges blacked out in about a week. I took it to another shop before taking it here. (Dependable Guys in Santa Ana) I am not a professional, but I am not stupid. There were no photo updates either, I had to ask for them. When they finally sent a picture, the wrap looked freshly slapped on two days after I dropped the car off. The day I dropped it off, they said the wrap did not adhere. It looked like my car sat there for two days until I asked for the photo, or it took them two days to remove a month old wrap and throw on one big piece lol.. My car is a small sedan, a CLA, not a supercar or SUV. Her words were: "Ok we will remove all the wrap and give you your money back. Come and pick it up today." She added, "You are demanding the refund so come get it. We cannot accommodate the time frame for you. Thank you we will be gone by 5 so please make it in time so we can process the refund." However, Mark (the installer) had reached out to me and told me him and his co worker would come into work early to finish the job. This was the second time they broke their own deadline, and instead of taking accountability, she tried to flip it back on me. Lisa took everything personally when this situation should have been handled with professionalism. I never asked them to remove my wrap; I just wanted the job done properly. The installer Mark was professional, but Lisa was disrespectful, dismissive, and extremely immature in how she handled the situation. I told them to leave the wrap and keep the money. This was their mistake, which took up the free time I rarely have. Even after I explained my situation, reminded them of prior mistakes, and was patient with the delays, they still couldn't get the job done on time. I didn't want or need the money back; I needed my car back lol. It was clear they didn't take me seriously, and I was forced to escalate this further, which she didn't like either. This was waste of time and caused unnecessary stress. I was frustrated because I had to deal with unprofessional and immature behavior. All I got were excuses, missed deadlines, and poor communication. This business does not stand on its word or its service. Don't bring your car here. Many shops in OC offer far better service and professionalism. I recommend Dependable Guys in Santa Ana! It turns out the wrap sticks just fine and clearly they were making excuses... 3 weeks no issues.

Project Import is one of those rare shops. What separates them isn't just the quality of the work, it's the level of thought that goes into every decision. They don't just ask what problem you're trying to solve today; they ask where you want the car to be years from now and build accordingly. Every recommendation is made with the long-term goal in mind. I've brought them some complicated issues on my 1JZ-swapped E30, and at every step they've been realistic, honest, and incredibly meticulous. If something needs attention, they'll tell you. If something doesn't need to be replaced, they'll tell you that too. No upselling, no shortcuts, no guessing. Just real diagnostics and real solutions. What I appreciate most is that they refuse to take the easy route if it's not the right route. A lot of shops will get a car out the door as quickly as possible. Project Import takes the time to do things properly the first time. In the long run, that actually makes their work a bargain because you're not paying another shop to redo it six months later. Their fabrication, attention to detail, and workmanship are top-notch, but honestly the biggest value is the trust. When they tell me something, I believe it. When they recommend a path forward, I know it's because it's the best solution for the car, not because it's the most profitable solution for them. At this point, I won't take my cars anywhere else. If you're looking for a shop that's honest, highly skilled, forward-thinking, and genuinely cares about doing things the right way, Project Import has earned my highest recommendation.

The price quoted was exactly the price I paid as well. I will definitely be a returning customer. I really hope they maintain this high quality of work, especially on my car, which is very special to me. My car is running so smooth now and shifts better. Thank you very much!

Communication throughout the process was poor, and I had to reach out to Adam multiple times for updates. It took three separate attempts for me to finally receive a wing without issues. On the first attempt, the wing arrived with missing paint and noticeable paint drips. I was told this was how it came from the factory. Upon picking up my vehicle, I also noticed multiple handprints and dirt on the tail and surrounding areas of the car, which had not been cleaned. During the second attempt, the wing was replaced, but it had several scratches in different areas. For a $2,000 wing, I expect it to be delivered clean and free of any damage or defects. On the third attempt, I waited for Adam to arrive so he could personally inspect the scratches. He retrieved another wing from inventory, and I inspected it carefully to ensure there were no scratches or damage. The wing was then replaced on the spot. Overall, I believe this business would benefit from making improvements in communication, inventory inspection, and quality control. Greater attention to detail and double-checking completed work would significantly improve the customer experience.
