Took my Audi A3 in because my PCV valve went out and it caused my rear main seal to go bad. VW/Audi are notorious for these. Dealers charge over $1500 for the rear main seal and PVC and they use the same OEM seal that tends to go bad....I had the upgraded iAbed seal, PVC and leaking timing cover gaskets changed for a great price. Thomas is a real professional and I will trust him with my Audi and BMW service for now on. read more

I dont have a yelp account so I have to use my gf's. I have never write any other yelp review before but because of how Thomas treated me.....I felt the least I can do is write him a good review. Thomas installed the remus catback exhaust with diffuser for me and I am extremely pleased with the outcome. He even threw in some free vagcom mods for me. Thomas's customer service level is top notch. He kept in contact with me throughout te entire time, from the day I emailed him for a quote to the day of the appointment. His shop closed at 5pm but he was willing to wait for me when I told him that I get out of work at 5pm. He told me that day he have an event to attend and he need to leave around 7 but he will do it for me. Even though he was in a rush, he took his time installing my exhaust. By the time it was finished, it was already 7:30. He was clearly late for his event and I felt really bad for it. If you have questions....don't be afraid to email him. He is very helpful and respond to your email really fast. I will definitely come back for other modifications (once I save enough money again that is). read more

Just drove home after getting sway bar, end links, and springs installed. All I can say is WOW! My MK7 GTI handles phenomenally now. Great parts at a great price. I found out about Thomas while searching for a tune. After deciding to go with GIAC's tune, I contacted Thomas. He quoted me a very fair price for the flash and educated me on mixing E85 and 91. Great service and results. I later went back to get the Forge chargecooler with expansion tank installed. No leaks, no more heat soak and as an added bonus, Thomas also flashed me back to stock whenever necessary for dealer maintenance. There was a mixup with pricing and I actually had an outstanding balance, but Thomas never pressured me or tried to hunt me down. He pays attention to detail and is meticulous in his installs. The area he works in is large and is conveniently located off the 5 freeway. His waiting area has great AC, has drinks and a TV to pass the time. If I still drove an Audi I would go back for more mods. However... he is able to provide tuning for F-Type R so I'm still in luck! Unfortunately, the symptoms of refractory-moditis have no cure but the toys and goodies he has curbs the need. Bottom line: When the RS3 comes out I will be going back to Thomas for a custom fab for 550+ at the wheels. read more

I had a really good experience here. I got a routine service at the Audi dealership and they found that my thermostat and water pump needed to be replaced because it was leaking coolant and quoted me $1200. After already paying $800 for a 35k service and oil change at the dealer I wanted to get quotes elsewhere and see if I could get the job done at a better price. As a female with a German car, most places try to overcharge me because I don't know much about cars and they can see that. I got a quote from Emd auto after sending them a yelp message in under an hour. It was the best price out of all the quotes I received as well as genuine parts so I went with Emd auto. Thomas was very helpful, honest and answered all the questions I had. He gave all the details that broke down the prices of the parts, and labor and it was such a fair price and I could tell they were not trying to overcharge like everywhere else. He had pictures showing the damage they repaired and also let me know about how there was a mouse trying to chew through some of my wiring which for some reason the dealer told me nothing about. I paid in cash, and they also deducted my Uber costs from my bill, so they gave me a further discount from an already great price. I saved hundreds that I would have paid more at other auto shops and the dealer. So glad I found this place, I will be going to emd auto for all future services instead of the dealer. I came here to get my car tuned, I got in contact with Thomas Emmanuelle the week prior via email. He was very attentive and responded to my emails right away. He was very knowledgeable and informative on all the questions I had and his recommendations were very unbiased. I looked around at a few other tuning shops and this place had hands-down the best prices. I was greeted immediately and Thomas took my car to the back and start working on it. It took him about 2 1/2 hours to complete an installation was free. Other places quoted me 5-6 hours of work and was going to charge me anywhere between $70-$90 Per hour. The other advantage was that he had everything in stock whereas most other places quoted me at least a week in shipping time. He also followed up with me after this elation to make sure that everything was okay, after installation he went over with me the product and any information about the operation I should be aware of. The waiting area at the shop was clean convenience he has water and coffee complementary there is a flatscreen TV and Wi-Fi if needed. I am planning on having future upgrades including a full exhaust system and will definitely go back for more work to this place. Things could not have gone better. read more
