I purchased BMC performance air filters for my new Nissan Z here. I picked them up when they were ready. When I tried to install them, they did not seem to fit correctly. I emailed them and got a response the next business day. After a couple of emails, they were willing to give me a refund. When I went back to get that done, I spoke to the owner, who asked if I'd mind letting him see the issue. I had no problem. The new filters were clearly of higher quality then the ones that came with the car. They also were made withy higher quality materials. That seemed to be the issue. The old filters fit very loosely into the air filter housing and the new ones did not fit easily. After a few minutes and some pictures, the owner discovered that the filters do fit, they are just far more snug. He as willing to give me the refund or have someone trim the filters. After they fit, neither was necessary. They'll work fine. I really appreciated how willing EDO was to deal with the issues I had, including giving me a refund, which I ended up not wanting. I already saw that they have a great selection of high end car lubricants and I will be back here to have them do the oil changes on the car. The engine failure was not caused by the Tomioka turbo. The turbo held together through an internal engine implosion. The blade damage was minimal and no damages to the bearing, which shows the strength and build quality of the unit. EDO assisted with obtaining the missing components for this pre-owned kit. They supplied the required bolts, nuts, gaskets, couplings and the sensor in a fast and efficient manner. Due to current pricing and inflation, the total parts cost was about 1,000 dollars. The turbo kit has performed above expectation. My vehicle produces 361 hp and 301 tq at the wheels on flex fuel. I expect solid service from this pre-owned kit. Three weeks ago, I made my final decision to get my exhaust system installed at EDO Performance. Edwin, the owner, took the time to research the best fit for my car based on my budget and needs. I was looking for something affordable yet high quality, and Edwin sourced the best option for me. The installation was done by the EDO team, and I have to give a huge shoutout to technician Tony and social media/assistant technician Yajin (hope I spelled your name right!). They worked so fast and professionally when removing my stock OEM exhaust and installing the new system. I had mentioned I was on a tight schedule, and they made sure to get the job done efficiently and with great care. I couldn't be more thankful for their hard work. Edwin's leadership really shows - the entire team is just as amazing. I also had them replace my air filter with a BMC filter from Italy, which they reserved for me, and they took care of my oil change at the same time. The amount of work they put into my car really impressed me, and I'm so glad I found the right shop. Took the car in this past weekend to get Dinan lowering springs and BMS spacers installed. Very pleased so far with the look and ride (albeit it's only been two days). I worked directly with Edwin and James. Both were very informative, patient and most importantly understood what it takes to get the job done right. I mention this because what we thought should have been a 2-3 hour job turned into a 6-7 hour job. Additional time required to make sure installation was to my satisfaction and just went extra mile in my opinion. I will likely be returning to this shop for further mods and tunes. Don't get me wrong they're good at what they do and fast however I was not happy with my tune, that being said I called and said my car still felt stock they told me to come in and they can refresh it and if I'm not still they can go ahead and refund me. I was TOLD multiple times that I could get a refund. When I still wasn't happy with the tune they said I cou ldnt get a refund and I said but you said I could and they hit me with the "do you have it in writing" well of courses I don't so what ever I can't get a refund fine. Before this they had offered to bump my boost to +9 but thinking I was just going to get a refund I said no it's okay and they changed it to stock. So when finding out I wouldn't be getting a refund I said okay can you at lease flash the +9 psi and they said they would have to charge me... I was not happy :/ so now I was back to stock and out 400 dollars.
