I'll like to think I'm a pretty good judge of character. I got a few quotes from exhaust shops and talking to Steve, I went with him because of how friendly and chill he was over the phone. Sure enough, in person was no different. He said he needed to see the exhaust system I had brought in person before giving a quote. And sure enough when I arrived he inspected it in my trunk and gave me the quote right away before I decided if I want to do it. Pressure free. As somebody who could install it myself if I chose to, I agreed with his pricing, it was very fair. I was really surprised to see he was alone in the shop and asked if he worked alone in which he said he did. I was like damn, the entire shop is full of pieces from exhausts that other people left behind and they numbered in the hundreds. So clearly the experience spoke for itself. He told me it would take around two hours to install so I walked to a nearby coffee shop and sure enough 2 hours later I received the call to come pick it up. When I arrived there was an issue with the installation due to a misunderstanding but Steve got the car right back on the lift, and took another car off the lift he was working on to remedy the issue. I could tell he was tired but he did the job nonetheless which I 100% respect. He's a one man army and a really nice and honest guy. I would recommend his shop to any friend. Thank you Steve, and please keep up the hard and honest work! read more

Cypress Muffler did an outstanding job on my Honda Civic Type R. They fabricated a custom support beam for my Remark exhaust and also rewelded the support beam on the other side. The work was clean, solid, and done right. Steve was very transparent throughout the process and took the time to give me a lot of helpful advice, which I really appreciated. Professional, honest, and high quality work, highly recommend Cypress Muffler! read more

Hands down the best decision I've made when it came to getting exhaust work done. Steve adjusted to my schedule changing a few times and for the Service Requested of removing my massive exhausts it wasn't an easy one but he knocked it out with ease. Removing my dual exhaust from my Chevy Silverado ZR2 at the cost he charged was amazing. You get quality customer service, honest work and leaving with the peace of mind knowing you weren't swindled. read more

I reached out to Steve at Cypress Muffler for help in replacing my catalytic converter. Steve was communicative and patient, taking his time to clearly explain the repair process and the next steps. While waiting for the necessary parts to be ordered, Steve was able to apply a temporary fix to my car for a reasonable price, with a quick turnaround. When it came time to install the new catalytic converter, he was able to complete the installation and also installed a cat shield within just a few hours. I highly recommend Steve for great quality work with exhaust system repairs for a reasonable price. read more

I was in a tough spot because someone stole my catalytic converter. But Steve right away, took ownership of the problem and said he can fix it right away. He even made sure the problem doesn't happen again by installing a shield. And the price wasn't bad. The dealership wanted around 2000. He did it for less than half that. read more

This is the place to go for muffler service. Price is very reasonable. Took my son's Supra to get serviced at Cypress Muffler Shop. We had a muffler installed/swap. Other places quoted $300.00+ but Cypress Muffler Shop charged us half the price of what others wanted to charge. The owner was very kind, friendly and professional. My son's muffler installed looks clean with no issues or rattles. The owner also worked on other high end and high performance cars when we were there to drop off and pick up. PS: Also, owners little son is very respectful and greeted my son and I when we arrived at the shop. He seems to like the little Hot Wheels Toy cars so if you have any, it will be nice to give him one as a Thank You gift for his kindness. read more

Steve helped me correct my Cobb exhaust misalignment and re welded a couple cracks .. I was surprised he was able to pull this off and I didn't need to replace it after all. He also has used branded aftermarket and original exhausts for common cars (Subaru, bmw, ) at good prices (invidia, awe, borla, etc.) I would recommend buying from him for perfect fitment and install assist. I had a crack in the exhaust of my Audi Q7 and called on Saturday to see if it could be welded. Steve called me back shortly after and said he could take a look. I brought the car in, and he showed me the crack and confirmed it was weldable. While the repair was being done, I walked over to IHOP for breakfast. By the time I returned, the car was ready -- all done quickly and at a fair price. read more

Called cypress mufflers mid week to make sure they were open saturday july 5th. Came today and waited 45 minutes and shop still wasnt open. Wasted my time getting there right at 8am which is the time they open. Decided to take my business elsewhere. I understand if they open later or even if theyre closed a day after a major holiday. But let your customers know so they wont waste their time. Im sure the quality of work is great but nit worth the time wasted. There are plenty of other shops that has similar or better pricing for quality work. read more

I brought my 90's Honda Civic to Steve as I had a used muffler I wanted installed. There was some modification involved in order to get everything to fit correctly but overall I'm very happy with the results/work. Overall time spent was ~2 hours. Modifications: One of the exhaust hangers needed to be re-welded and corrected to match the length of the other hanger, the axle-back piping was 3" in diameter and it was replaced with 2.5" piping, the muffler needed to be adjusted to sit straight and Steve also adjusted the muffler so it wouldn't stick out so much from the bumper. I'll let the photos do the rest of the talking but I can't thank Steve enough for the reasonable price and superb quality of work. I recommend Cypress Muffler for any exhaust-related work and very fair prices. read more

I went in today to have a Magnaflow Cat-back dual exhaust installed on my Dodge Charger. Steve did a fantastic job and it didn't take very long. The price was very good and the quality of the work was outstanding. I wanted to surprise my husband for Christmas, so I yelped muffler shops near me and thank God I came across Cypress Muffler shop with 5 STARS! I called Stepan and told him what I was looking for. My husband has a 2016 Mustang Ecoboost. I researched exhausts by Borla, MBRP and Flowmaster. He recommended MBRP or Flowmaster and ended up getting the Flowmaster American Thunder Catback Exhaust. He ordered it and it came in within days and I was able to set an appointment that weekend before Christmas. Stepan was quick, it was done in less than an hour! He's honest, friendly, very responsive and detailed. I can see why this place has 5 stars. I spent a total of $1,000 for the exhaust and labor = happy husband! Thanks again and I HIGHLY recommend this place! Check out the starts in the stock before and after installation videos. read more
