My E92 M3 coilovers had reached the end of their life, and friends highly recommended Alex at ERA Performance. I went in for KW Clubsport coilover installation, and the experience exceeded my expectations. Alex is the definition of precision over speed. He explained everything clearly and torqued every bolt to spec. Since my car is mainly for track use, he also gave valuable advice, pointing out small concerns I wouldn't have noticed. Every detail was handled with care, from setup to finish. Professional, meticulous, and thoughtful -- this shop is a must for anyone who values quality work and guidance

I can't say enough good things about Alex -- he's hands down one of the smartest, most honest mechanics I've ever met. Every time I've needed help, he's been there without hesitation. He explains things clearly, gives honest recommendations, and never tries to upsell unnecessary work. His pricing is always fair, and the quality of his work is top-notch. It's rare to find someone you can truly trust with your car, but with Alex. know I'm in good hands. Whether it's a small job or something more complex, he approaches it with skill and care. I wholeheartedly recommend him to anyone looking for a mechanic they can rely on.

Era Performance continues to exceed my expectations every single time. I recently brought in my E60 M5 to have the oil cooler replaced, and as always, the team delivered top-tier service. From the moment I dropped the car off, communication was clear, professional, and honest. They treat every job with precision and care--no shortcuts, no guesswork. It's rare to find a shop that consistently delivers this level of quality and attention to detail. If you're looking for real performance specialists who know what they're doing, Era Performance is it.

I can't say enough great things about Era Performance and the incredible job they did on my recently purchased 2012 BMW X5 xDrive50i. Although the car had relatively low mileage, it came with a host of problems -- a major coolant leak that forced me to constantly top off coolant and motor oil, an engine that would turn on with an overheating warning even after sitting idle, and severely worn suspension and brakes. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed and overwhelmed. That's when I reached out to Alex at Era Autosports, and from the very first interaction, he was a pleasure to work with. He inspected the car thoroughly, identified the root causes of the engine issues, and walked me through what needed to be done. Since I already knew the suspension and brakes needed to be replaced, I gave Alex a general idea of what I was looking for in terms of performance and feel. He provided knowledgeable recommendations and really took the time to explain each option. As the work progressed, Alex also identified additional issues, like worn hoses, and kept me informed every step of the way. The results were beyond what I expected. Alex installed the struts and lowering springs I requested and even fine-tuned the sport mode to adapt to the new setup. The difference is night and day -- the car feels and drives like it's brand new. All the engine issues are resolved, and the suspension and brakes transformed the driving experience. On top of all that, the pricing was very fair, especially considering the amount of parts and labor involved. Thank you, Era Performance, for bringing my BMW back to life. I'd wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for an experienced, trustworthy, and genuinely kind mechanic.

They are amazing people specializing in all cars not just bmw. They helped me with my Camaros exhaust leak and they were amazing to be around they were cool and calm and pointed out the issue and how we can fix the leak. I will for sure bring my car again they are honest and have great prices and they have earned my trust

Best shop I have ever been to hands down. Always get taken care of and let me know when car will be done, always done on time. I have nothing but good things to say about the guys at ERA performance. Pricing is always fair too.

KW v2 installed and ride height adjusted

Had my car here initially for a transmission service but they noticed a coolant leak on my 340i, scheduled with them and replaced my OFH and installed my coilovers. Worked tirelessly on my car to get it back on the road until late night! Pricing is great and fair and they know what they're doing. I would highly recommend them for your car's needs, especially for BMWs.

    My 2007 BMW M5

The team here at ERA is amazing. They are knowledgeable, professional, and I only trust them to fix my car. I highly recommend ERA as it has been the only shop that has done a quality job on my car every single time I bring it in.

I've been to a few shops throughout the years for my '08 BMW M6, but never got that true reassurance that work was done correctly. I was referred here by a buddy of mine and I would totally recommend to anyone else. Didn't have a problem from start to finish and I'll be back.

I love this shop! Alex, along with Ricky and Eric, provide a super fast and trustworthy service. I took my car in and they got to working on it right away. Had some issues with my M5, they diagnosed and fixed my throttle actuators and repaired a EVAP broken line that was misdiagnosed by two previous shops. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED these guys! I will be telling my friends/family about their service and value!

Everywhere was between $48-$60. So Thanh isn't cheap and it isn't expensive. It just is what it is. Groupon had better deals but those shops aren't open on weekends and I work Monday through Friday like a normal person so that's completely useless to me. THE SERVICE It's a hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese auto shop in Garden Grove. If you know, you know. If you don't know, let me calibrate your expectations real quick -- nobody's greeting you at the door. There's no intake form. No one's explaining the 47-point inspection they're about to perform on your vehicle. You pull up, say oil change, hand over your keys, and go sit down. That's it. That's the whole interaction. I wasn't mad about it. I actually kind of preferred it? Like I don't need you to be my friend I just need you to change my oil and not charge me for stuff I didn't ask for. And they didn't. So. We're good. THE WAIT 45 minutes. No AC. It was 90 degrees. The furniture is trashed. I was in there with 3 other people and nobody said a single word to each other the entire time. Just four grown adults sitting in a hot room staring at their phones waiting for this to be over. I felt like we were all in purgatory together but none of us wanted to acknowledge it. There's no bathroom. I'm gonna say that again. There is no bathroom. I don't know what you're supposed to do with that information but I needed you to have it before you show up here with a large iced coffee. THE ONE THING THAT ACTUALLY IMPRESSED ME They take card. No surcharge. If you're not from around here that means nothing to you. But in Little Saigon? Half these shops look at your debit card like you just handed them a seashell. Cash is king out here. The fact that I didn't have to drive around looking for a Wells Fargo ATM that charges me $3.50 to touch my own money was honestly the highlight of the visit. FINAL WORD Thanh is the kind of place that does exactly one thing and does it fine. Not amazing. Fine. You'll pay a fair price, you'll sweat for 45 minutes, you won't have access to a toilet, and your car will have new oil in it. If that works for you then this is your spot. Just bring water and use the bathroom literally anywhere else first.

After about 6 years of loyal customer service and about…read more$15,000 later between two cars, it was time for me to call it quits on repairing my Silverado... I don't feel bad blood or any sketchy feelings toward anybody at the shop. I just feel it's dumb luck and just plain bad luck on my part for having such a faulty truck. Everybody at the shop has done an amazing job helping me out. Will at the front counter is an amazing person who goes above and beyond to do whatever he can to make the pricing work for you.. Trey is an amazing technician who knows exactly what he's doing and sends detailed videos and reporting of everything he inspects. Unfortunately my truck started leaking and it was a faulty water pump. The same water pump I replaced 4 years ago at the exact location here at autolink. Again, I don't feel any sketchy feelings. I don't feel any kind of way. I just feel frustrated that the same water pump would go out after 4 years. I feel like something like that just doesn't happen. Even with that, I'm in a position in my life where I can't and don't have the resources to do anything further with this vehicle. About 2 weeks ago, maybe three. I replaced the complete brake system in my vehicle and it cost me about $2,000. Today I got the estimate for the water pump repair and it was $1,500. This is on the higher end of any shop repair. Again? I feel it's worth it because of the work they do, but to be honest, I feel something more should have been done to either prevent the water pump from breaking down again or getting some kind of warranty for that water pump that just happened to break down once again after 4 years. In the back of my mind, I can't stop thinking about the fact that something like this just doesn't happen that often. Water pumps don't break down that often. Anyway, that aside again, I hold no bad feelings toward this shot because I highly recommend them to everybody. They are on the higher end of the pricing ever since they started getting more clientele and more business. That is something that is to be expected I guess. Even with that, they were able to bring down the price significantly, and I appreciated it ever so much. At the same time I had to explain that at this time in my life I I can't and will not continue to repair this truck. I picked up the truck from the shop, drove it home and it's going to be sitting in my driveway for a few months until I figure out what I'm going to do with it. I have to save money to fix it because I do want to keep it and pass it down to my kid because after $15,000 worth of repairs I think it's pretty much brand new and should hold up for my son for a few years. Thank you everybody at the shop, Jay, will, Trey all the mechanics that I haven't met. They are detailed and explain what needs to be done with great reporting and paperwork. I will not be going back for a while. I'm going to save up some money. Get a new car and when the time comes I'm going to fix the truck and pass it down to my kid when he's old enough to drive. But I am seriously done with this truck. It has been nothing but a money pit. Again, I hold no bad blood, no hard feelings toward anybody at the shop. I just feel some kind of way about the same part breaking down 4 years later and me having to fix it at the exact same place with no kind of warranty.

With that being said, I went in for a routine oil change and asked them to changed a headlight bulb that was out and I needed new wiper blades as well. I dropped off the truck and received a follow up call a few hours later explaining to me a previous existing issue with the wiring of the REAR tail lights. I completely forgot that I had said I would see about maybe getting it taken care of the "next time" I went in for an oil change. Well, today was that "next time" and not only did I have faulty wiring in the rear tail lights, but also faulty wiring on the headlights as well. All this after going in for a routine oil change. I'm not mad, it was to be expected; it's an older truck about 20 yrs old. I was not prepared for all the work that needed to be done and I was ready to postpone that work until the "next" oil change... but- They called me up and explained all my options, clearly explained all issues at hand and worked with me to get all the repairs done within my budget. This is why I love these guys and am literally writing this review in tears because I truly feel appreciated when they work with me and are beyond professional in what they do. Thank you Sincerely, Auggie
