Incredible views, food, service. All the outdoor tables were taken but inside is not shabby! Focaccia to start us off with margaritas, a Paloma, and a smoking Old Fashioned. Really great. My hubby and I shared the bison ribs, pork belly, and a terrific beets and greens salad. We were a group of six and others had salad with chicken, shrimp and grits, and more ribs. We shared two amazing desserts including a great chocolate tart. Will try to stay at this scenic lodge in the future. Cheers. Utah rocks. read more

As a guest at Red Cliffs Lodge I was able to enjoy both breakfast and dinner at Ember. Firstly, the view is absolutely incredible. Sunrise in the morning having breakfast, and then all the colours of the evening sky at night. Can't beat it. Breakfast was good, I tried the Eggs Benedict, breakfast burrito, and the omelette with leeks, bacon and cheese. The omelette was by far the best, and the breakfast potatoes were a delight. My server was just wonderful and made breakfast an absolute pleasure. In the evening, as travelling alone I opted to sit at the bar. The bar itself wasn't that well stocked (they were out of several beers I had asked for), but they did make an incredible old fashioned. The bartender was polite and helpful but wasn't the most talkative, but the food and whiskey more than compensated. The Heirloom Tomato Caprese appetiser was delicious. Sadly, they also seemed to be out of a few entree options (both the gnocchi and chicken) so I had the shrimp kebabs. They were delicious! Overall, this place exceeded my expectations. And the surrounding scenery is simply incredible. read more

Just had an incredible pre-wedding dinner for one of my best friends here this evening. What a magical spot! The views, the service, the ambiance, and the food.. everything was perfect. Not only was there a super cool museum downstairs that showcased all the films and movies ever shot on this property, but there was also beautiful horses calming walking the property too! I have never been to a more picturesque restaurant in my entire life. And even the inside went quite upscale, the atmosphere was relaxed and not snooty whatsoever. In fact, there was a sense of calm and tranquility in the air that was really relaxing in and of itself! While I was here for already paid for event, I took a peak at their regular menu and was astounded by just how reasonable it was! You would assume that at a place like this, with the view and property they have, the menu might be NYC prices or above... but nope! You will be pleasantly surprised. Before it gets popular, run here... well drive actually, it's a long winding road, but you get the point! read more

Very disappointing experience. We chose this restaurant based on the promotional photos, which showed beautiful grilled fish and gave us the impression that we would find a much more interesting menu. Instead, the actual menu was surprisingly limited, with mostly salads, sandwiches and a few basic options. The chicken wings were particularly disappointing -- poorly cooked, with an odd curry-like taste but somehow still bland, and served with a cheap, processed-tasting sauce. The tomato and beet salads were also underwhelming. We added chicken and salmon, but both were dry and overcooked. For the quality and simplicity of the food, the prices were extremely high and absolutely not justified. The service did not help either. We felt rushed, and the check was brought to our table before we had even finished eating, without us asking for it. The atmosphere itself is pleasant and the restaurant is quiet, but unfortunately that was the only positive part of the experience. The food, service and value were all far below what we expected, especially based on the way the restaurant is presented online. I would not return. read more

This place is beautiful. The view is so nice, the Colorado River and the Cliffs are gorgeous and you can sit and enjoy a peaceful meal. The food was delicious. The chicken was flavorful, not just with spices, but it actually had a lot of flavor to it. Definitely recommend and if I could do it again, I would actually stay at the Marriott property Ember is attached to. read more

We had an incredible dinner at Ember and were blown away by every aspect of the experience. Chef Alex's new menu is outstanding and showcases both creativity and exceptional quality. We started with the pork belly and smoked lollipop chicken appetizers, and both were absolutely delicious. For my entrée, I ordered the ribeye, which was cooked to perfection. The quality of the beef was clearly premium grade, and it was easily the best steak I've had in Moab. Dessert was the perfect ending to an amazing meal. The homemade cast iron chocolate brownie topped with caramel and flaky sea salt was great and The Gianduja chocolate shortbread tart was a perfect ending to our meal. The atmosphere is just as impressive as the food. The dining room offers stunning views overlooking the Colorado River and the red cliffs surrounding Arches National Park, making for a truly memorable setting. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Evelyn provided warm, attentive hospitality and made the entire evening feel special. Breakfast here was great, but unfortunately dinner was a completely different experience. We ordered dinner to-go, and what we received was extremely disappointing. The order was not only received like this but also incorrect--we had specifically asked for mashed potatoes with our entrée--and the focaccia that the menu states is included with the salad was also missing. read more

Wrong fish... We ordered trout and they gave us salmon.. Not the same fish.... We complained to the management but they kept insisting on it was trout but instead of apologizing and giving what the customer want.. Be ready to argue with the management. The ambiance loud and chaotic that day since the film crew was there. I would avoid this place unless you want to argue with the management team about the type of fish... Lol read more

What can I say about Moab, Ember, and the Red Cliffs Lodge? Truly legendary. The land and the geological features here are truly awe-inspiring. First of all, Trisha was an amazing server! I asked for additional citrus sauce for my quinoa bowl, and because it didn't actually have a sauce, she suggested having the kitchen char a lemon which was the perfect solution. She was professional and fun and gave us just the right amount of attention. On top of that, the ribeye we ordered was outstanding and cooked perfectly. The quinoa bowl with braised vegetables was just what I wanted and delicious! We had the brownie sundae for dessert, which was also wonderful. Rarely do you get an à la mode dessert that has enough ice cream to pair for every bite of the dessert, but this one did. The brownie was warm and just the right amount of gooey. Of course, the setting of the restaurant with a beautiful view of the red cliffs and the Colorado river could not be beat. I highly recommend! read more

This restaurant had the worst service we have ever experienced. We sat for 30 minutes and no one ever came to our table. I asked two people for a server and no one ever came. We started to leave and then one server said he would serve us but it wasn't his table. We ordered drinks and bread and asked for water twice. We didn't get either and after 25 minutes, I went to the hotel front desk and asked for help. The clerk said she would send the restaurant manager to speak with us. He never came. After sitting for one hour and 10 minutes, our drinks came. The bread didn't come until 10 minutes later- but still no water. We contemplated skipping dinner but went ahead and ordered. Once the food came it was good. But the service and atmosphere overshadowed that. It was a terrible experience. This was a Tuesday and the restaurant was not full and we were a party of 4.
