I bought a gorgeous turquoise lizard brooch and took a brochure for the wind catchers outside to try to order later. My friend and I easily spent an hour inside roaming around looking at the gorgeous things inside - it's huge and has a back room down some stairs with even more furniture and decor. Staff were helpful and friendly and left us alone to wander around and take photos and look - not following us or being pushy and offering help only when needed or asked for. I appreciate that.

This started a conversation with the saleswoman who talked about the local Navaho tribe and how they send their kids off to boarding school in Arizona. There is a smaller population of Ute (rhymes with boot) Native Americans living in Moab and whose petroglyphs can be found on the sandstone walls on the trail to Delicate Arch in Arches National Park.
