The staff are very helpful and professional. I love the bike I bought from them. Thanks!

.

They have a great variety of bikes, and the service is excellent. The staff were very helpful and took the time to adjust everything for us.

I recently got my AIMA Santa Monica from ELV Motors, and I'm so happy with the experience! The staff was really friendly and helpful--they took the time to explain everything and helped me pick the perfect bike for my needs. The bike itself is fantastic. It's smooth, stylish, and so much fun to ride. They also have a great selection of brands, so there's something for everyone. What really stood out was how quick and easy the whole process was. They even handled the California voucher for me, which made everything so much easier and more affordable. If you're using a voucher, this is definitely the place to go. I can't recommend ELV Motors enough. Great service, great bikes, and they really care about their customers. If you're looking for an e-bike, this is the spot. You won't be disappointed! ‍ 10/10, will definitely be back!

Flagged down reviewed so consumers can see them. Here I post it for everyone to see how shady this company is.

READ THIS BEFORE YOU THINK ABOUT BUYING ANYTHING FROM THESE CROOKS. I bought an e-bike from their showroom floor that looked used but they claimed it was brand new and was only test driven. In less than two weeks, it completely malfunctioned and wouldn't even turn off. When I demanded a refund, the company refused, hiding behind their "No Return Policy." They had the audacity to blame me, claiming I "didn't charge it correctly" and had caused internal damage to a bike that was clearly defective from the start. It seems this is their business model: sell broken-down bikes off their showroom floor and then invent lies to avoid giving you your money back. It was a battle, but I refused to be scammed. I had to fight my own bank, Bank of America, and use legal tactics to force them to investigate properly and get my money back. They finally did. This review is a warning to others. Potential Legal Violations Under California Law My experience suggests this company may be violating several California consumer protection laws. Future buyers should be aware of their rights:     1    Breach of the Implied Warranty of Merchantability: Under California's Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, new products come with an "implied warranty," which is an automatic guarantee that they are fit for their ordinary purpose. An e-bike that breaks down in two weeks is not fit for its purpose, and selling it is likely a breach of this warranty.     2    Unfair Competition Law (UCL): California law (Bus. & Prof. Code § 17200) prohibits any unlawful, unfair, or fraudulent business practices. Representing a used or defective e-bike as "brand new" to make a sale is a classic example of a deceptive and unfair business practice.     3    False Advertising Law (FAL): California law (Bus. & Prof. Code § 17500) makes it illegal to make untrue or misleading statements to the public to sell a product. Claiming a bike is new when evidence suggests it is used, damaged, or defective could be considered false advertising.     4    "No Return Policy" Doesn't Apply to Defective Goods: In California, a "No Return Policy" or "All Sales Final" sign does not protect a seller from their responsibility for selling a defective product. The law requires them to provide a remedy--such as a refund, replacement, or repair--when a product is faulty. They cannot use their store policy to override state law. My advice: Do not buy anything from Elv Motors. They sell defective products and will try to protect themselves with illegal and deceptive tactics. Check the return policy before you buy ANYTHING from ANYWHERE, and do not take a salesperson's word for it--get it in writing. Go to a reputable seller like Costco or Best Buy, where they stand by their products. These people are in big trouble, and it's only a matter of time before the law catches up with them.

**Update to My Previous Review on ELV Motors:** Three months after my initial review, the owner of ELV Motors responded, and I feel it's crucial to address and correct a few points he made. Firstly, the owner described the Velotric Discovery One e-bike involved in my warranty repair as a "low-cost" option, which is far from accurate. The Discovery One is a premium model, and the issues I faced were unrelated to its care or storageand the bike was not stored outdoors. Upon bringing in the bike, I noticed the steer tube was off-center--a simple fix that would have taken minimal effort. Unfortunately, they didn't take the time to inspect the bike, clearly did not test ride it. A simple Allen wrench to loosen and straighten the neck stem, a task that would literally take seconds. Regarding the repair costs, I was quoted $100 for a bicycle chain replacement, a price that seems exorbitant by any standard. This quote was significantly higher than what the original manufacturer, Velotric charges for the same part. Moreover, the labor costs were inflated, quoting three hours for what is commonly a 15-minute job. The owner's delayed response, three months after my original review, speaks volumes about the company's approach to customer service. It's disheartening to see a business overcharge customers, particularly those who might be less experienced with e-bikes. The claim that my bike's chain needed replacement was unfounded; it merely required lubrication. Furthermore, the quoted price for a new chain was astronomically high compared to the actual cost of a $15 part. The assertion that my bike's brakes needed replacing was also incorrect; the brake pads were brand new. This discrepancy in the assessment of my bike's condition and the proposed repair costs raises serious concerns about transparency and fairness. I also want to mention that there are several e-bike mechanics in the South Bay Area who provide honest, quality work at reasonable prices. My advice is to consider other options for e-bike service and repairs. If you're looking for alternatives, a simple Yelp search will reveal many reputable professionals in the area who are known for their quality work and fair pricing. I hope this update provides a clearer picture of my experience and underscores the need for honest and reasonable service practices in the e-bike industry. Do not do business with these people

I bought a folding E-bike there a couple of days ago. Great service, knowledgeable staff. Great selection, you can test ride as many as want. No pressure!

I had a seat post issue that was reoccurring (2020 canyon aeroad seatpost creak, a well documented design flaw) I watched every YouTube video to try to remedy it myself, but it never lasted longer than a couple days. I finally brought it in because I was super frustrated that I couldn't fix it. When I got the bike back, it was finally fixed permanently, I haven't had a single issue yet and it's been like 4000 miles. The staff is so friendly and they remember me, which makes me feel like a friend. I've been here a half dozen times and I'll continue doing so. Another thing I like is that they are a small family owned business, not some chain. It makes me feel good to support them. Five stars all around

I didn't actually notice until I got the bike home but trusted the service guys to do the right thing and to make the right choices, so I just went with it. After about 50 miles on them, realized how uncomfortable and rough they were. Ended up replacing them at home. Took the Pirellis back in the store mostly looking for some amount of store credit. Was told I should try to sell them because they wouldn't do anything because I had ridden on them. If you're gonna get service here, make sure you verify that the correct parts were installed on the bike. If you don't and you use them for any amount of time, you're out of luck.
