Dropped off an adult and youth bike for service on Friday and Chris texted me Sunday letting me know he was almost done and they would be ready Monday. He provided me with a summary of the work performed and cost of the bike. The youth bike didn't need as much attention so he didn't charge me the full price. Chris tuned up our 2 road bikes. Price: When sending us the prices for the tune ups, I initially thought it was for each of the itemized services. After reading it over several times, I finally understood it was for the total tune up. It's very affordable. Communication: His text responses were very fast. He broke down exactly what services he will do in his text. This is easy to understand and great for future reference. Personality: Very nice, cool person. Results: All issues were fixed and our 5 year old bikes are now good as new. Recommendation: There was an open slot 2 weeks out from the initial contact so I recommend booking early. We decided to get some bikes during this whole Covid-19 quarantine. They were pretty easy to assemble, but my gears didn't quite shift as they should have. Chris is a down to earth, easy going guy that loves bikes. He's reasonably priced, his communication is excellent, and he's a solid problem solver. I don't think you can go wrong. I hadn't used his services before but I ordered an eBike online and needed someone to assemble and tune it up for me. I'd contacted other bike shops and those mobile bike repair guys, and Chris was by far the friendliest and just a pleasure to work with. And he's not afraid of eBikes (some of the other shops are, or they don't want to touch a bike that they didn't sell themselves). During assembly he discovered that part of my bike had been damaged at the factory, but he found a local source for the part and had it installed and repaired overnight. I'd expected to be without the bike for another week, but Chris came through and got things back on schedule. Do yourself a favor and let Chris take care of your bike worries.
