I came here for breakfast with my girlfriend and we both ordered the waffles. On their own, they were a bit dry without adding plenty of whipped butter and syrup. We actually prefer the Elly's location in Mundelein--they offer daily specials, whereas this location didn't seem to have any. Our waitress was very friendly!

Another excellent breakfast spot in Glenview Illinois! Went here twice, once for breakfast once for lunch and didn't disappoint. The place was busy both times but we didn't have a wait for a table. Service friendly and quick, portions huge! Breakfast I had eggs Benedict so good! Hashed browns could've been warmer but good. Came with a side of fruit. Lunch my sister and I shared a Blt that came with soup, homemade cream of chicken so good, Cole slaw and hot fries. We couldn't eat it all so took some home! More then enough to share! If I ever return to Chicago I'll be sure to come back!

Went here for lunch recently. A nice place inside and out. Good service, especially on coffee refills. We ordered a patty melt without onions but it came loaded with onions. We also had a Rueben sandwich, which was ok. The manager did give us $ off for the patty melt mistake.

While running errands , we came across this place with a full parking lot & glad we came in. As a party of 4 we were seated within minutes. The portions for omelettes are huge and come with a side of pancakes or toast. The skillet is also a good size and made perfectly! I had the chicken wrap which came with a creamy rice soup and Cole slaw. All great options .

Recently saw a vlogger raving about them. I was left disappointed with my breakfast today. Quantity and price were great but overall temperature and flavor were a fail. They've been here 24 years and I kinda remember being here quite some time ago. Only made the drive with plans for being on the Northshore today. Server was friendly and they keep everything very clean.

Solid breakfast, ok coffee, fast service. Whats not to like. The place is always busy....so they must be doing something right. Had a skillet, the potatoes were crispy and good amount of cheese. Likely will order it again .

Popular establishment open for breakfast and lunch..extensive and appetizing menu..quick and friendly service..excellent coffee with free fills..everyone in our party enjoyed thier meal very much..my sister and I went back a couple days later for lunch..we split a BLT meal that included a large bowl of homemade cream of chicken rice soup that was not too salty..small side of coleslaw and seasoned French fries that were served in a little metal basket..huge portions...we were visiting from out of state..too bad we can't be regular customers!

I went into anaphylactic shock after I ate pancakes that contained dairy. Upon ordering, I disclosed that I am allergic to dairy and gluten, and was assured that the gluten free substitute was also dairy-free. The server walked to the kitchen, I saw them speak to a cook, and then walked back to my table and confirmed that my order was dairy and gluten free. One hour later I was in the ER. If you have food allergies or food sensitivities, do not spend your money here because you will be lied to like I was.

This was a breakfast stop heading out of town to get a nice road trip breakfast. It's fairly modern looking and nice but pretty empty at 7:50 on a Monday morning. My service was great but my server couldn't answer if the up charge for sourdough toast was bakery quality and not some commercial crap, the woman who took my payment comforted that all the breads are from a local bakery. I would go against my norm and order the ham breakfast with scrambled eggs that comes with hash browns and white toast. To my surprise I asked if the ham was ham off the bone and it was . The scrambled eggs were perfect, moist and fluffy. The hash browns were golden crispy and perfect. The white toast was obviously thick great quality bakery style and buttered nicely. The ham off the bone was thick cut, moist and delicious with a nice Smokey flavor. OMG this is a seriously good ham steak breakfast with a big portion. My final thoughts is that this is a great quality breakfast spot clearly beyond average serving a what breakfast should be, nice job because the hit it out of the park and just a great way to start a road trip.

The vegan waffle was generously sized and made fresh in the kitchen. It had the perfect texture--a little crispy on the outside, yet warm and chewy on the inside. There was just a hint of sweetness, so I hardly needed any maple syrup. The decor is very cool--I absolutely love the color scheme! Even the restroom was charming. When I walked in, I noticed a sign on the wall that said, "Hello Beautiful." Although it's a small detail, I also appreciated that the trash bin was placed directly beneath the paper towel dispenser and right next to the door. I had expected more pancake options on the menu since it is a pancake cafe but there are ~4 options available (aside from the standard buttermilk and gluten free ones). I had the California omelet (avocado, mushrooms, tomatoes, pepper jack cheese) with hashbrowns and pancakes. I upgraded to the berry pancakes (blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, and strawberries) for an upcharge. My child had the pancakes from the kid's menu which came with two small pancakes and a meat of her choice (she chose bacon). Food took some time to come out and we had to ask for water. My omelet was decent but the hashbrowns were overcooked and dry. The berry pancakes were just okay. There was fresh fruit on top but I didn't care for the berry drizzle on top of the pancakes as it tasted artificial. The kid's meal was very plain (I don't know what I expected) and I should have shared my meal with my child since she ended up eating all the berries off my pancakes anyway.

My dad had an office and n Glenview when I was younger and this place was there and he had never heard of it. I guess if you were local or took the Metra, then you knew. I made a reservation as there were twelve of us coming in. We arrive for our monthly Burger Club with high hopes. It's a cute place. They have a nice outdoor deck area and the inside has a nice wooden bar with tables around it with two or three additional rooms of seating, too. We asked for separate checks, and our server told us it was no problem (it was). They have a lot of burgers to choose from so we thought that this would be a great place to go. I'll say this, our server was wonderful. Super nice, really friendly, always refilling drinks. Just a wonderful experience with her. And that's where it ends. My burger came our perfectly prepared (they ask what temperature you want and I wanted medium rare). The patties are insanely thin and toppings, while fresh, are overly abundant. Fresh lettuce, tasty pickles, etc. the burger had no flavor. No salt or pepper to season it or anything. And mine was the best of the group. Others received burgers that were overcooked, had the wrong buns, came with caramelized onions, but were raw -were sent back and came back raw again - and the sides were underwhelming. I don't like ketchup, so I asked for ranch and it was thick and had a funky flavor to it. Then bills came and they were all wrong. She had mixed up every bill. Thankfully most burgers cost the same, but drinks and some side upgrades don't. We will never go back here. I have no idea how they stay in business.

And it was nothing short of superb in all facets. My son ordered the Southwest Avocado Burger, which an earlier review this year praised. He agreed. He loved it. His mom had the Chicken Philly. Equally good. Both had large portions. I had the Russian Reuben. It was like 3X the size of a traditional Reuben sandwich one might get dining out. I was barely able to eat a third. It was huge beyond huge. It was spectcular. I wasn't sure corned beef would blend so well with turkey but both meats did. Sumptuous! The Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, Russian horseradish sauce and 1000 Island dressing on top - OMG - it was so unbelievable! $2.00 more - you get your fries and soup (choice of 6 - wow - what eatery has 6 soup options)? The onion soup was $1 extra but who cares? It was all a ton for the buck. The basket of tasty dinner rolls upon arrival was delightful. Our waitress Terry was excellent thru and thru and worthy of a large tip, which we obliged. We got free refills on our drinks too, a big thing for us. We were all totally pleased with our visit and will be sure to return at least once or twice before moving out of state later this year. We wish we could clone this place and take it to where we all are moving. I truly don't understand those whining here and their posts. Everything we had was good throughout. If I had to nitpick, I would say the French onion soup itself was average and not rich but the large crouton in the soup and abundant melted yummy Swiss cheese well compensated with the grated topping over the cheese incredibly tasty, making it over the top. The raspberry iced tea could have been a bit sweeter but it wasn't bad either. And you automatically get water delivered to your table, a rarity among diners today. And yeah, I get to a degree the 3% (rounded off) card charge but when you're spending $80 to $100 for gargantuan portions of great food, come on, who really cares about an extra $2.50-$3, chump change? A church friend of the family told me she and her husband go to Omega periodically and recommended it. So this evening we all went. And not one bit disappointed. 24/7/365 diners are a dying breed these days but we are so glad Omega is still around and I say long live the Omega. A shout out to the crews working here as well as the owner.
