My go to for pan dulce but more specifically bolillo! You can't go wrong with this place, get your pan dulce fix or other pan dulce and or sweet treat. Always a good deal. Private parking can be limited but moves fast. Fyi, Located at a corner busy intersection.

People were so friendly the line can get long but they had two ladies on the cash register. There are Dino cookies I should try one day! Also went here because I was looking for chocolate flan for one person they had it and more. I ended up taking home the flan and cheesecake portion mini instead.

This is by far my favorite bakery of all time. The sweet bread and bolillos are very good and soft. I especially like their mini conchitas and polvorones. All of their pastries and breads are very delicious and high quality. I would say that my favorite thing about this place is that the bread is incredibly soft and sometimes you even get your bolillos warm out of the oven. I've been to other bakeries before where the bread is hard and dry. Not here. It is always soft, fluffy, and very flavorful. So far, I have not encountered another bakery that beats Elizabeth Bakery. They're truly one of a kind. I remember coming here as a child and I always get childhood memories whenever I enter the door. I hope they remain open and keep operating for many more decades to come.

Waited in line for 20 mins. Asked for a 3 leches cake and got something completely different once we cut into it. Stale frosting and stiff old bread. Worst cake ever.

The best bakery. My parents have been buying bolillos here since I was a little girl. The puerquitos bread is the best here... but you need to get here early... they will run out.

Bad customer service they did a poor job on my cake ...the cake support was bad quality that it broke down before leaving the bakery went back to them to fixed knowing it was there mistake and didn't take there responsibility.. they wanted me to pay again for them to provided me with a new fresh cake knowing it was there responsibility to make sure cake was able for someone to carry out the cake

Great Pan Dulce or Sweet bread...however you want to call it.

I love passing by Elizabeth's Bakery because of the smell but more when I actually get to stop by and get some Pan Dulce for my family. The service is exceptional here. The girls are always so welcoming and very efficient! The Pan Dulce is so delicious that it runs out fast. So you better run quick to catch your favorite Pan Dulce because sometimes they be running out or you have to wait until the next batch comes out.

I was surprised to buy mostly stale items! I l on a Saturday evening and tried a lot of different items. I got a cuerno, cheese danish, tres leches, a cookie and a vanilla filled pastry. Everything but the vanilla cream tasted old. These items were definitely not fresh and that surprised me because whenever I pass this place there's always a long line. Only 2 out of 5 were fresh and that's not good for a bakery. The tres leches was okay and so was the vanilla filled pastry (can't think of the name, see pictures). The other items were average items that you can get at any bakery. They tasted no better or worse only stale. Unfortunately I don't think I'll be back. read more

We passed by this bakery and decided to stop for the first time today. Ordered tamales and bread and both were delicious. The tamales were huge (and still below the average price of 3 dollars) filled with lots of chicken and very moist. The bolillos were so soft and crispy at the same time. We will be coming here more often! read more

Rated 1 star because I ordered a full sheet cake and they did not have a cover for it. They brought it out and sat it in the trunk of my car without anything, no cover, no foil, no clear wrap,nothing and I had to drive 15 miles hoping it would be in one piece. If I could give it zero stars, I would. It is upsetting and not very business-friendly. I made a call to obtain a quote and had a question about a menu item. However, the woman who answered the phone was rude and ended the call while I was still asking a question, leaving me with the words in my mouth!. As if, only because this bakery was closer to me. I see very typical reviews here and I can wonder why. I read someone saying that they felt rushed and another saying it tasted bland or the cake wasn't good. Anyways... I went into this establishment looking for some bolillos (bread) and when I got in line the lady was quick to take my order. She rushed me, but damn this lady knows her pan. I love being rushed with someone that knows their stuff. Why? Because they give you authenticity and honest answers. I purchased bread, pan dulce and empanadas. I was given fresh empanadas out the oven? Why? Because she knew I wasn't there to play games and waste time. It's a business they're running and I appreciate that. This is my family's go-to bakery for Bollio. They are the best bollios I've ever had. I remember eating these as a kid. I also remember picking some up for my mom in my 20's and eating one on the drive home because I couldn't resist. I had one this morning with my breakfast, I'm 40. We don't have them often because they are far from where we live now but when we do pick some up you know there will be some amazing tortas in our future. I wouldn't come here for anything else so I can't speak on it but their bollio game is UNDENIABLE. The staff aren't the nicest people I've ever met but as long as they bag my bollios and take my money I can give a damn. read more

Heard about this bakery a few times specially for their Mexican bread. Finally stop by and grabbed a tres leches cake; 4/10. I honestly would had just stop at Superior Grocers. This cake had a weird flavor and the texture was nothing to the traditional tres leches, bread was not moist at all, no air bubbles, and to top it off TOO sweet. Haven't tried the bread but with the cake experience I will definitely pass. read more

Worst customer service. The women that work there chat it up while you're standing there. As a business owner I cannot stand bad customer service. Get the customer out of there then chat all you want! I will not be going to this place ever again. Gave them plenty of chances and it's always the same. This place is overrated. Everyone in line is there for their white conchitas and those are the ones that run out by 5 or 6 in the evening. The owner should know better. Why not make more of the favorite ones??? Nobody buys all the other bread. It's ridiculous. I go to Porto's Bakery now. I'd rather wait in line for Porto's than Elizabeth's. read more

Honestly i like going to this bakery. My wife likes The pastries from there unfortunately last time I got a pastry from there it was covered in brush bristles when I went to go confront the staff they told me that they are aware of the problem but they refuse to do anything about it due to just poor work ethic and lack of willingness to assist us I most likely won't be going here anymore. read more

It took a while for someone to come behind the counter to help us (there were two customers in front of me) after someone did appear, it was a rude lady that make it feel like she didn't want to be there and wanted to rush us out of there. I've been here a handful of times and that lady constantly has the same attitude, maybe she needs some time off, she's clearly unhappy. When it was my turn I asked for the mini flan, a mini cheesecake w/flan and some bolillo. The bolillo was good since it's usually made daily but as for the other two items, they were nasty. When I took my fork to the flan, it got stuck and when I tried to pull it out, it lifted the whole flan from the tray. Ummm, I don't think that was suppose to happen. My brother tried the cheesecake w/flan and it had a chewy texture that he didn't enjoy. I wish I could take them back for a refund. It was an unpleasant experience and I will not be returning. read more

The selection is great and the place is really popular. They sell tons of pan dulce, tres leches cakes, flans, and tamales, etc. Even champurrado. I tried their Empanada de Piña (pineapple empanada or turnover) and it was disappointing. Empanadas de Piña are my favorite pan dulce. It looks beautiful from the outside but I did not really like the filling. The bread is ok but the filling isn't that great. The filling color isn't right. It's too yellow. The flavor isn't right. The champurrado wasn't very good either. Too thin and not very chocolatey. They are in a huge parking lot.

Bake goods with amazing service. Great cupcakes and lates. This place has it all any thing that is baked they have it. The best part is it owned by a family and they been working the business for years. When ever im in town I make sure I stop by. I been going here for so long that they still remember my name which is awesome. read more

i love elizabeth bakery, they are SOOO GOOD. i WoulD LOVE TO ONE DAY INVEST in there store to open one over here close to orange county...but anyway...i wrote 4 stars BECAUSE parking is awful. there pretty nice, and fast when it comes to tending to their customers. and they're really inexpensive. read more

No me gusto nada de aqui el pan no es la gran cosa. Los pasteles no estan bien decordos los ago mejor en mi casa. Las empleadas tienen cara de pocos amigos. Deberian de mandarlas a un asilo y poner a gente joven. read more

I love their bolillo and the sweet bread. I still need to try the Turkey they make for Thanksgiving I heard it's really good. Another thing I like buying is the Rosca de Reyes. I recommend this bakery. read more
