To begin with, they have no price tags so you don't know what you're paying until you go to the register and by then, you are not going to place the bread you touched back on the open racks they have just laying in the middle of the bakery. Second, the bread did not taste fresh at all. It tasted like it had been out on those racks for at least a few days. Third, extremely pricey. All breads were actually smaller than what we are use to seeing at other bakeries. Not sure why they don't have price tags or at least a menu with prices on the wall. We got over 80 dollars of bakery goods just for the staff to be horrible. I would usually go to the 2nd location which always have good customer service, but today was horrible. She was rude putting the breads in stuff so harshly that it almost broke the goods. She had an attitude the whole time. We came in with a good attitude and she ruined it. As soon as you walk in you'll see carts stacks with baking sheets filled with all sorts of sweet bread, cookies, buns, etc. Grab a tray and some tongs and go to town. (Things don't have prices, but things run anywhere from less than $1 to $2 or so.) Parking is very tight and there's only one way in, one way out. Sadly like most establishments, once they get a little fame or following, price goes up and quality goes down. Nothing extraordinary that can't be found in any other bakery. The lady that answered the phone asked the baker and he stated in 20 to 30 minutes. That's the amount of time it would take me to get there. Yeah! live 30 minutes away. I got there and the "big conchas" came out shortly after. The baker confirmed again to come back in 30 more minutes and the "little conchitas" would be coming out". I left came back in the advised time and the bakery told the staff "uuuuuhhhh nnnoooo" the little conchitas will not be coming out until two hours from now". What kind of service is this?! They had it in a fridge by entrance with a large Cookie Monster cake ABOVE my cake, so I had some crumbs on my WHITE cake. But I just removed them. They gave me a bottom box cuz they didn't have TALL boxes. So my cake was exposed when I took it home. Other than that, the ladies were nice. And it's NOT fondant. It's all cream. But recently after the remodeling I started coming here more often. Now this place has its own parking lot. And they made the inside bigger and better. There's no crowdiness like before. For a small bakery they do pretty good. The lines are long at times but they are fast. The cashiers always multi task and try to get you out as fast as possible. Good customer service.
