I paid for a tiramisu cake I asked for specific instructions on the cake decoration and I asked for the writing to be on the side of the cake and not to Ruin the decor..... well the cake designer decided to put the writing on the gold plate ... which I did not ask for , so I asked the to fix it ... well it came back even more horrible then before... the cake baker that bakes the cakes is not the cake designer , well the baker decided to do it his way and said that's what I asked for , I gave him a piece of my mind and told him that he's not the decorator he's the baker , so why would you do something to a cake and mess it up more ..I left angry and upset , you can see the design from the yellow cake the chocolate diamond is smaller where there's enough room for the HB and name goes look at the design on my cake and how ugly it looks ...... I will not be ordering cakes from here again I spent 45.00 on a cake I asked for and did not get what I ask , I left angry and upset the birthday cake was , the lady's took down all the instructions on the decorating for the design to come out different from what you asked for ..... the communication from the ordering to the baker and the design lack communication... my 1st time ordering from here since the remodel and the last time ..... very very disappointed read more

I LOVE REYNAS BAKERY! definitely never let's me or my family down. I have a very picky family they don't really like cake but ever since I bought a napoleon cake for Christmas they actually finished a whole cake. The service is friendly if you are having a big party they definitely can get your cake needs. I Had my baby shower here and they created a beautiful cake I just wanted to display it all night and never eat it. I am so happy, this place never fails this is my go to bakery! read more

Cakes are worth the buck. Prices have gone up but still reasonable. They always have fresh bolillo.

I tried the Conchas, the Cuernos and the amazingly not soggy but wonderfully moist Tres leches cake. All three things were so good the Conchas were soft and full flavor as were the Cuernos. The reason for me driving 30 min from my home was the the Tres Leches cake which I heard by word of mouth "that its very good" and it was. unless I find some place closer that makes a better "Tres Leches Cake" this will be my go to spot. read more

Bread is delicious. You get the feel of an actual Mexican bakery or panaderia. Nothing like food for less or even superior or gonzales. The bread taste fresh and soft and the right amount of sweetness . A little pricey but actually worth it when craving quality sweet bread. They do take debit card but purchase needs to be over 5 dollars. Parking fits about 3 cars and limited parking in the street in the front of the location. Parking around the corner seems better . We have years going to the Reynas bakery in eastern first time we come to this one in gage and the cake was the worst cake ever. It was my moms bday we asked for 3 leches and it was so dry. My mom was not happy at all. we live in Whittier and come over here for this. She called them and they don't even pass you to the manager. They even lie about their names. Then they say to return the cake so from whittier my husband had to go back to take it, could you believe that who does that. Mom told them that we had a lot of family come we cut the cake none of them like it we threw it in the trash. they just return half of what the cake cost. Wow after they made the mistake and then they were going to give just half amount back and $10 credit well they don't even keep their word. Be careful going to this bakery. They only gave us half back they said it was little cake what was she going to eat the cake herself, it goes to trash anyways I guess she want it to get it from the trash and give it to her. Quality Baked Goods, Its not as cheap as other bakeries in the area but that's because those bakeries breads all taste the same just have different toppings. Here each Sweet bread has a delicious distinct flavor and that is why i will always come here for my Pan Dulce. The day's fatigue was instantly lifted as I gazed at all the baked goodies Reyna's had to offer. I picked out one piece of pan dulce to try out, and placed an order for my mother's tres leches birthday cake. The birthday cake was a hit, moist and lovely as tres leches should be, the frosting was pretty yummy too, and I don't really like birthday cake in general. Family owed bakery. Even though they moved to a bigger & new location next door with parking, I was very disappointed with their customer service. I made an order 1 month ahead of time and the day of my event they called me and said the oven was not working and to pick up my order 1 hour later being at 3pm. When I arrived they said the order was not out the oven yet to give them 10 more minutes. I waited 45 min extra and they did not bother acknowledging me or apologizing for waiting. First, their conchas are delicious and always fresh out the oven. The best time to go for the bread overall is in the early morning or evenings where most of the people go. Their Tres Leches cake is so great and moist as it is supposed to be. The only thing is that they only accept cash and food stamp cards. They opened their new bakery!!! This bakery has gone from a little whole in the wall to a serious competitor. The new bakery looks very fancy from the outside. Inside, they are still working on replacing all of their dishes to new ones. After all, presentation is everything. They have a huge variety of sweet breads. They also have French bread (Bolillos) filled with cream cheese and Jalapeños incase you are craving something savory. Besides the sweet bread, they also have cakes, gelatins, cheesecakes, and bottled drinks. Drinks from milk to coffee to Gatorade to Mexican bottled cokes. The staff is very friendly and remembers their customers. If you make an attempt to know them, they will return the favor. I have given them 4 stars because they need to work a bit on their presentation. Maybe the staff should always wear the same colored tops and the baking sheets they use should be newer and cleaned often so that the oils don't stain them.
