Elite Rooter technician damaged our Marble bathroom counter top, he put the equipment on top of the counter, left a huge mess and still did not fix the problem!! We found the chip of marble that he had damage, I called Annette (Elite Manager) she said to get a cost to repair, we did that and she said in numerous emails that she was send a check for the $500 in damages, the check never came, after more emails back and forth and excuses of personal issues, again Elite has not responded to my numerous emails to send the repair bill as promised in her emails. No problem, these guys were on it and made me feel comfortable going forward with taking out an old cast iron toilet flange from the concrete, they jackhammered it out with such ease and fixed everything up before I knew what happened. Last night our kitchen sink backed up. I worked for an hour trying to free up the drain. I panicked because I couldn't find the card of the terrific rooter service that I had previously used. Thankfully, I went online and recognized their distinctive Logo and remembered the name of their great technician, Jose Rios. Jose came right out this morning. He disassembled the drain and trap which were both severely impacted with waste and then ran his snake to free the clogged pipes. The three men Elite sent out over on a Saturday were all friendly, professional, courteous, and efficient. Francisco, Rafa, and Jeffrey. The pricing is the problem. They charged $1000 to hydro-jet (a really powerful pressure washer-type hose device) the line after getting my attention online with a $79 snake special" that didn't resolve a pipe blockage (I was in a bind, so my options were limited). The hydro-jetting done by Francisco took less than an hour with a special truck later in the day. Upon their return a couple days later to look through the pipe with their camera, Rafa quoted me $3200 to repair an underground section of compromised pipe that he said was accessible by digging (meaning they didn't have to go through concrete to get at it). I declined any further work by them and then asked my neighbors for their plumber recommendations (should have done this in the first place). I'll say it again, they were friendly, professional, and courteous, but I don't feel the pricing was reasonable at all, even after Rafa offered to take $200 off the repair estimate. And their assurance of a one-year guarantee on their work disappeared too, because there were roots that were creeping into the drainpipe. Do your checking and comparing beforehand, like I didn't. That was just the situation we were in. Beware of the companies that lure you in with a very cheap "special" and may continue to find more and more things wrong the more you say yes. read more

UNDERHANDED, DO NOT TRUST THEM I made an appointment with them to give me an estimate of why my garbage disposal wasn't working. I let them know on yelp that I needed to cancel this appointment. this morning he showed up & I told him I had canceled it & then I told him since he was already here to give me an estimate (fix it or replace). Hear me out.. went to this company to install a kitchen faucet . Two months later the faucet needed to be retightened / fixed . Service comes with warranty so I wasn't charged for it to be fixed . Martin Hernandez came out and fixed IT . He was polite and quick . I would give 5 stars if the initial work didn't need to get fixed so quickly ( it was not originally installed by Martin) . We used Elite Rooter in August to unclog a pipe. Mark came out and did a good job. We also used him to come out and cap off some pipes last month. We discussed with him putting a 2nd tankless water heater on the opposite side of the house from the original heater. He said a less expensive solution would be to put in a pump which would shoot hot water to that side of the house and would be 1/4 the cost of $4,000 to put in a tankless water heater. We had him install the pump but after he left we found that the pump emitted a constant hum 24/7 throughout the house. He came back a week later and said he fixed it. But after he left we found that the pump was unplugged and when we plugged it in the hum came back. Since then we have called Mark numerous times and have also put in two calls to Annette, the manager. We have had no response from either of them. We were given a 5 year warranty on the work which is worthless since they will not respond to our calls. So BEWARE -- their work is not really guaranteed since they do not answer your calls for help. We have two options now -- either live with a hum 24/7 or unplug the pump and lose $800-$1,000. I would have given them 1 star but since 2 of the jobs they did were fine I gave them 2 stars. read more
