Great service! Very accommodating at 7pm in the evening! Super nice guy! Fred came right over and fixed our problem! Thankful it wasn't a major plumbing issue but still he knew exactly what the problem was and took care of it all in about an hour! Highly recommend! read more

I appreciate the honesty in working with Fred Worthy. He tells it like it is whether you want to hear it or not. Today he took what I thought would be a simple fix and took the time to do it right which I greatly appreciate. In addition, Fred is just a nice guy. It's a pleasure to have Worthy Plumbing in my contact list. read more

Fred Worthy if Worthy Plumbing did a very good job of fixing the broken water line in our home. He came in even though it was late in the afternoon and was very professional in going above and beyond and taking his time to make certain the job was done properly. I recommend Worthy Plumbing with no hesitation. read more

Homeowners beware especially if you need a hot water tank installed! When Worthy Plumbing installed a new water heater some years ago, the company failed to install a water pressure regulator (among other things) called an "expansion tank", as required by California Plumbing Code § 608.2 and 608.3. Because of this negligence and the fluctuating water pressure, my home suffered water damage, and my home warranty claim was denied. I had to pay for all repairs and the regulator installation myself. When given the chance to fix the mistake, Fred Worthy refused to take responsibility. Serious lack of professionalism and disregard for plumbing code requirements. Also, Worthy neglected to install a sediment trap and ground clamps on the water heater. If you had such work done, consider having that work inspected so that your warranty is not voided due to his negligence. read more

Total pro, very experienced and a no BS getter done team. Had a problem Tennant that kept causing back ups and leaks and water damages from both supply and drains. He set them straight with the proof and they denied it and gave him a scathing false review. read more

He can do it all. One of the best. Shows up on time . When it is finished you don't have to worry about it. He is 24 hrs read more

We needed to install two toilets. Called Fred and, after a few missed connections, he came over and put them in. Clean work and he brought a few parts that were not in the boxes. Our final bill was a little more than the initial quote and their hourly rate is on the high side, but does good work. He's busy, so expect to be flexible for appointments. read more

Worthy Plumbing - Fred pulled this beauty out of our toilet trap. - Plumbing Near Me

We had a water pipe break between the meter and the house. He came out and spent a significant amount of time trying to find the least expensive solution. He Decided the best solution was to run a whole new water line. His bid was the best out of the three that I received. Fred comes across as a no BS personality, speaks his mind. Did not offend me. Fred , his son and their assistant all worked hard and did a great job for me. I would use them again.... read more

Thank you Worthy Plumbing for helping us get through our plumbing issues. Fred and Joe were awesome! They went above and beyond to make sure they got as much of our pipes cleaned out. They were also very thorough, and informative on what they were doing and gave us some preventive tips for the future. I'm so glad they were recommended to us. They both had really great attitudes which helped a very stressful situation go a lot smoother. Even our 2 year old daughter gives Worthy Plumbing 2 thumbs up! read more

Fred was referred to me through a friend and he came out first thing in the morning. My washing machine drain was back flowing every time I did a large load of wash! He went up on the hot roof and put a camera down and snaked the drain and was trying to determine what was the problem ! He was so thorough and spent time and then came back the next day to replace the pea trap which solved the problem. He was clean and tidied up and was very fair in his pricing ! I would highly recommend him great great service thank you read more

Fred Worthy's service really wasn't the problem. It was his inappropriate behavior towards woman and need to use discriminating language while working. He pushes his boundaries and seems to think he can get away with making woman feel uncomfortable in their own homes. I do not recommend this persons service!! read more

Fred is a pleasure to work with. He came out to the house on a Saturday under extremely short notice. He works hard and fast and is extremely knowledgeable. Terrifying that he's probably scamming others. Told $5k for a pipe to be fixed and lied and said my septic was broken too. Another plumber fixed the pipe and said "absolutely nothing is wrong" with my "septic system " $300. read more

Got his number here and sent a text with a photo of the valve to the fridge water to be fixed. Fred got back right away and gave me three scenarios and costs to replace and solder on an elbow. Went very well. Would use him again read more

Fred is a very honest and forward plumber! Both him and his son came to look at water softener installation for me, they were very reasonably priced and I really appreciated his honest approach. Because he took time to explain the systems and advantages of the types of installations I returned the unit they came to install and went with the brand they recommended! Sure glad I did, I saved a ton on the cost of the unit and on the cost of salt for the first few years... Thank you Jeremy for your patients.. (My baby was not feeling well and I had to multitask the whole time you worked thins out with me. ) 76% of their time was HELPING ME understand.. The rest was the super clean and professional job they did! Thank you guys!! I look forward to future work! read more

I rent. Landlord sends over plumber. Plumber tells me what the issues may be. Ok well I tried explaining that one issue is impossible because I don't flush tampons down the toilet and immediately he became rude with me. Telling me he can walk out and don't need to be there arguing. Not professional at all. I had to walk away before my tongue got the worst of me. My husband dealt with him this obnoxious person. Just wow read more

Our house was tented for termite fumigation, so of course, we had to be out for a couple of days. We returned on a Saturday, and called SoCal Gas to get the service back on. The Gas Co technician showed up at about 4:00 PM, but would not turn the service back on, because of an indicated slow leak. I did a quick web search, and found Worthy Plumbing. They had good reviews, so I gave them a call at about 5 PM Saturday afternoon. To my great surprise, owner Fred answered the phone, and said that he would be out at 8:00 AM on Monday Morning. True to his word, Fred showed up first thing Monday, and proceeded to confirm that the gas leak was in the line between the meter (near the street) and the house. He did this by shutting the gas valve at the house, and then pressurizing the line at the meter, and monitoring a pressure gauge. Fred measured the line length, and gave me a reasonable bid. He also arranged for a trenching crew to be at our house at 8 AM the next day, and also someone to saw through about 12 ft. of concrete driveway. The crews were at our house at 8 AM on Tuesday morning, and proceeded to dig the trench and cut an 8 inch path across the driveway. They worked nearly all day, and by mid afternoon the new pipe was installed and connected. The gas company sent out a technician right away, tested the line, and turned the gas back on without hesitation. The next day Fred's 'concrete guy' repaired the cut in the driveway, and did a very professional job. Being without natural gas was a big problem for us (no showers, no laundry). Had it been Winter, we also would not have had heat. Worthy Plumbing made the entire problem go away in short order and at a reasonable cost. You can't ask for better service than that! read more

They went above and beyond for us! I called yesterday, on a Sunday, knowing they were closed. I left a message that I expected to have returned today when they were open. I received a call within minutes. I sent a handful of photos of our current hot water heater and was quoted a price, and time of this morning to replace. They went above and beyond bringing our house (built in 1991) to code for the new hot water heater. I could not possibly be more grateful or more happy with What was done. I will NEVER call another plumber for anything. Thank you SO much! read more

Just to start out. I'm a landlord and my tenants were happy with the repair that was done. So i wanted to start out saying that i think they did a quality job. Why the 3 stars? I think they overcharged me for the work that was done. i had a plumber that could do it for half the cost they did (minus a toilet). i had tenants that needed it done because a handyman took the toilet off and didn't put on and was smelling the house. I had them do it anyways because i didn't want my tenants to suffer anymore than they have and i think they knew that. I've been asking for an invoice for materials and time of labor. they haven't provided after saying they will and it's been over a week now. So, to be fair. i think they do quality work based on my tenants review, i would just shop around first and get them to price match. i wouldn't recommend to call them first for an emergency. read more

Job was done a couple months back. Called for estimate on gas line replacement. Upon inspection, he gave a competitive estimate so I agreed to have the job done. On the day of the job, Fred arrived 15 minutes early to have paperwork completed. He started the job right on time. He and his partner for the job, Scott, had great communication. I'm not sure if Scott was in training but they communicated respectfully with each other, even checking with each other about what they should do (of course they knew what they were doing!). A couple hours later the job was finished. Cleanup was great as if they weren't even there! The work they did looks great and functions as it should. I will strongly consider Worthy Plumbing for any future jobs. Please note: cash or check only. read more

I called Fred for plumbing repairs. He showed up with his son and another guy. They completed the repair but it took all day. He tried to tell me I needed to pay for the two guys who were with him and did no work....what? No way. Well after a few days, the repairs began leaking and I tried multiple times to have him return to re-repair his original work. He scheduled me for three days later then never showed up despite me calling to remind him. I kept trying daily to get him to return to fix his original crappy repair, he kept promising to show up but NEVER did. My only option now is to file a complaint with the State Contractors Board. I would think twice before calling Fred Worthy. read more

I called worthy plumbing to do full replacement of my gas and water line and his Son came by to take a look. He gave me an estimate and started working. I mistakingly payed him for the entire job before he was finished and he disappeared on me leaving the entire gas line to be replaced. I called worthy plumbing back and he took zero responsibility for hiring his son and the job that he bailed on. I had to hire another company and pay twice for the water line replacement. read more

3 stars is being generous. This guy likes to take on a job, wants you to text him the info, says he'll call you back but leaves you hanging for days without a call. I called him days later and does the same thing. He says he had other emergent jobs, which I understand but a courtesy call or text is a must. This is not very professional! He was referred to us by a handy man that does good work at our house that's why I stayed on with him but this is the first and last time. read more

I used Worthy Plumbing on several small repairs, each one done with high quality, on-time and with reasonable cost. It was the replacement of a hot water heater on Memorial Day that earned them the 5 stars. Honesty Fred of Worthy Plumbing was great. He was fun to talk to and got the job done right for a beyond great price. I have had other plumbing companies over for the same issue charging 3-5 times as much... I thought one of my issues was that I needed a new garbage disposal so I went out and bought a really nice and expensive one, but he offered up a few tricks that saved me hundreds of dollars and now I will be retuning my purchase. Glad I finally found a plumber in the area that is not trying to rip me off. I highly recommend Worthy Plumbing and without a doubt will be using their service again in the future. read more
