Let me start by saying I can't say enough GREAT things about my experience with Elite Relocation. From the moment I connected them for a quote until the moment the last piece of furniture was setup I received exceptional and professional customer service. I called after hours and left a message to request a quote and Kayleigh called contacted within an hour. She was able to schedule an appointment for me the next morning for a walk-through quote with Joe, the owner. Joe called me the next morning and informed me was on his way and arrived on time and was very professional and thorough. He even gave me great tips about how to pack up my 3 bedroom home. Within 24 hours I received an itemized quote. Please note I obtained 5 quotes. The quote from Elite may not have the lowest but it was the most detailed and I didn't feel like there were any hidden costs or fees. Therefore. I chose to select for my move. The day before my move I received a reminder email with a checklist and confirmation of what time my moving team would arrive. The morning of my I received a call letting me know they were on their way. When they arrived (at the scheduled time) we did another walk through and confirm my original quote. Then Victor & Hector got to work. I was amazed at efficient they were and while they worked quickly to pickup my 3 bedroom 3 story split level home they took great care with all of my belongings. They made sure to handle fragile items with extra care and even added extra protection to keep them safe while transporting them to my new home. This not the first time I have moved and anyone who has moved in the past knows that it is a stressful and exhausting task. I can't say enough good things about David and George! Before moving anything they covered door frames and put down a runner to protect door frame,floor and my furniture from scratches. They shrink wrapped almost everything and also put paper covers since my furniture is going to storage. Disassembled my bed and dining room table and made sure to tape my screws n bolts to the items. They've moved all my things multiple times without damage, and the one time there was a little damage (for which I hold most of the responsibility, as I should've packed better!) rather than arguing with me or dodging the issue, they immediately made it right, and I really respect that. Joe Brito, the owner, came to my home to do the estimate. He was thorough and very detailed. He also told me what it means to be registered with USDOT and TXDMV. Having these licenses ensures accountability and credibility. I like supporting local businesses. Joe advised me to check the TXDMV website to verify if other companies I was considering was registered. He also said his estimate may not be the lowest and he wasn't. Elite Relocation to the rescue... literally, so I had hired a different company to move some stuff to a near by storage and they left- me waiting for 6 hrs with no updates (almighty movers). It was an emergency because my tenant was moving in, so I called Elite Relocation and they came to my house next day at SIX in the morning (on time), got everything moved in an hour and a half and even made it to work on time. If I could give these guys more stars I would! They got me out of a bind when another moving company just flat out didn't show and was unresponsive for my scheduled move. These guys were able to squeeze me into their schedule at the end of a workday and I couldn't be more grateful. George and Hector were not only courteous, friendly and professional, but they took really great care of the stuff I had. They were also experts at fitting it all safely into an already kinda full storage unit. Joe his moving crew were extra ordinary! They were not only on time daily but were excellent in every aspect of moving. I had them pack & load 3 PODs. They had every inch of the pods used & my furniture well padded. Just as anything that is worth something, they were not the cheapest but was by far from being the most expensive service in the Austin area. Joe came out and looked at my house took an inventory & gave a realistic quote. Several other companies I called for a quote on Yelp just gave me a flat low quote to get me to hire them. After getting a real quote, I found the quote given over the phone would have been at least double the cheap . Joe performed far and above what I expected from him. He not only did a superb job here in TX but he also found a company to unpack my PODs at a great price at my new home 1200 miles away. I found the company on yelp, the 5star reviews and awesome price made the company an easy choice. We needed movers on short notice and Joe was extremely responsive, helpful, and friendly- letting me know that there were no hidden fees-padding and plastic wrap was included. The team was scheduled to arrive between 8-9am. They called to say they were on their way about 10 minutes before 8. They added padding to narrow door ways and protected our wood floors. I had a few glass nightstands and large mirror that they handled with ultimate care, and they all arrived in perfect condition. The guys were funny and hard-working and above all true professionals. They are the worst!!!! I booked them based on the reviews....which Have to be lies. We paid for 3 men for 2 hours. We have moved several times and know for a fact that all our belongings fit in a 26' truck. They were to begin at 10 am. 1 guy (K) showed up at 12:10 and immediately turned his work clock on, he then sat on our couch until the 2nd guy (V) arrived at 12:25. They told us only 2 men were coming. At 12:30 we got a text from Elite/hire-a-helper saying our time was up and we were going to be charged double if the men didn't leave. NOT ONE THING HAD BEEN LOADED. K began yelling that he'd been working since 12:10. They both then spent about 20 minutes on their phones telling whoever that they had been over 2 hours late. They finally began loading the truck about 12:55. K complained about the stairs-Then K complained about the wood furniture. He wanted a "tip" for the stairs and the furniture. K then went out to use his phone again while V continued to load stuff. K stated that he was trying to get paid and told us how bad the company was at that.He said he needed gas to get to his next job and if they didn't pay him that day he couldn't afford to drive....his new Camaro. Meanwhile V is loading, and he finally got K off his phone long enough to load the sofa, washer, dryer, and fridge. They then took a photo of their "work" to prove they'd done it. About 1:45pm they came inside and informed us they had to leave or they were getting fired. At this point my husband called hire-a-helper and spent probably 20 minutes trying to get some kind of satisfaction. We were offered $15.00 credit. Unacceptable. They agreed not to charge us for the 3rd helper but they refused to acknowledge that we hadn't even gotten 1 hour of actual loading even with 2 men. They said they'd not charge us for the 3rd hour. It was like they were from another planet. all the time K is yelling that he's been working since 12:10. As they were supposedly loading stuff, I went out to put things in the car several times, easily half the time K was sitting in his car talking on the phone.....he'd see me and jump out and trot over complaining about how he's not getting paid. he was hinting for cash under the table. He finally got in his car and left. V also had to go. V actually did most of the work alone. When I went out to see the truck I was appalled. They had.about 1/2 of our stuff loaded, and the truck looked like a few 12 year olds had loaded it. Yes, I took photos. This is supposed to be a MOVING company with men to load the truck. What we got was one guy willing but no clue how to load a truck, and one who didn't want to be there at all....but wanted to get paid for doing next to nothing. So.....We are both in our 70's. medical issues force us not to lift more than 15 pounds. That's why we had to pay for help to load the truck. My husband is a VietNam veteran. We had asked them to load our blow up mattress last so we could sleep in our new house. We'd planned to arrive about 5pm. But at 2:20 they were gone. Leaving us with half our belongings in the garage. We had to call friends to help finish loading......but the 2 "pros" from elite moving had done such a terrible job of loading only so much could be put in, the only fix would have been to unload and start over. About 7pm We had to give up and close the truck and drive the three hours to our new place. As seniors we don't like to drive at night but we weee forced to do so. We got the truck to the house about 10:30pm, but could not access the mattress so we had to stay at a motel ($105.00), due to the hour and some event we could find only a questionable one. During the night someone hit our car ($1687.00) worth of damage. The next morning the 3 men we'd hired to unload showed up, on time, and got the truck unloaded in just over an hour. (Same hire-a-helper, but Houston- and these men were fantastic). Not finished with Elite movers..... that afternoon we get home after a food run, and my husband collapsed at the front door. He was taken by ambulance to a local hospital, no concussion, no heart attack, no stroke, so they sent him home. As we arrived, about to enter the house, he collapsed again, this time there was blood, so I called that hospital back and they said I had to get him to a bigger hospital.....he was admitted to Memorial Hermann about 11:30pm due to internal bleeding. From lifting and moving items we paid "elite" movers to do. He was in the hospital for 5 days......we haven't even seen that bill yet. A few days after he was released we had to rent another truck ($289.00) (and $95.08 in gas for said truck) and drive back and finish loading the rest of our belongings, we had volunteer help this time, and finally got moved out, Elite movers cost us $2,186.08 so far. We have not gotten the hospital/ambulance/medical/procedure bills yet. They then offered $75.00 and all we had to do was respond to their email. That hasn't even paid off. read more

I spoke with Joe directly and he offered me a great price, one I couldn't refuse. It was Joe and one other guy that moved me from a 2 story house with several pieces of furniture that needed to be taken apart into a one story within 4 hours. After I finally got moved in, I couldn't find the power cord to one of my TV's, which Joe had taken off the wall and wrapped up, so Joe was quick to respond and was willing to buy me a new cord.
