They were just finishing another job and were able to take on my requests on a short notice. Because I had a smaller job, they quoted me a flat rate with no minimum job requirement. We later decided to add a couple of mattresses and a sectional we needed to be picked up from a second address, which they were able to accommodate for a reasonable price. Harder's crew was very hard working and moved quickly. They were very polite and professional, very easy to work with. Would definitely hire them again and recommend you give them a try!

The load team did an excellent job wrapping and padding our furniture to protect it while in transit and did a great job at securing the load while maximizing the storage space on the truck. My friend booked with them two months ago because she got a job in Texas and was asked to start immediately. (She's from Los Angeles). She basically had to pack her entire studio apartment on a Tuesday and be completely moved in by Sunday. She asked me for help and I told her it was going to be nearly impossible to get it all done since she couldn't find a mover to help her get all her things to a completely different state, but she found Cross Country. When the movers got to her apartment they realized she had A LOT of stuff. They helped us pack and load the smaller things into boxes to fit into her uhaul, and then they said they could deliver the furniture to her place so she wouldn't need to get another uhaul to drive over. The movers were super nice and were actually careful with her things when they were loading it into the truck. I wish I got their names so I could refer them in this review! (I've seen other movers toss boxes back and forth like they're not fragile before) I didn't meet my friend in Texas to help her unpack but she told me all of her furniture got there on Sunday morning and nothing was damaged so thank you to the guys that helped her pack her things! We both had a pleasant experience with this place, I'd definitely recommend this place if you need to move from state to state.

Have to say they did an amazing job. Not only were they super professional but also super nice and helpful. They showed up on time even a little early. They gave a call 30' before arriving. My sister and I already packed everything in boxes but we were still a bit anxious since we had bad moving experience before (movers broke our stuff). Cross Country movers literally wrapped everything as tight and good as butterfly cocoons lol super carefully and made the move very easy and effortless for us. Rate was reasonable for someone who lived upstairs like my sister. We're very happy we chose Cross Country Movers. Will definitely recommend to our friends and family.

Expensive - but really great!…read more EXPENSIVE: I paid $485 to have REALLY GREAT: Very large and heavy pieces of furniture picked up and moved 2.1 miles away. That's way too much money for what turned out to be less than 2 hours of work. Yet, the work was excellent. The two movers that were on the job were professional and seemed to be having fun doing their job together. They were personable and kind. It was a great experience.
