We're snow birds and travel with our standard poodle, our baby. We have to have her groomed by strangers while we're in Arizona and it's usually traumatic. Not at all with Elite Paw Spa. She was thrilled to go in because she saw the other dogs playing. She looked absolutely wonderful wen we picked her up, and was happy to be in the open play area (hates being crated). Very happy we found this place. Thank you to Yelp! read more

Fabulous experience today with my dog Rebel. He typically dislikes having his nails done at the big name pet stores. Thought I would try a salon for him. He loved it. He got to play with the other dogs while waiting. He looked fabulous when I picked him up. He got the full treatment. Will definitely be back. I really like the play area for dogs. Wish I could give 10 stars. read more

Great place. Everyone very friendly. Open kennel area for dogs to play while waiting. I thought it would look cleaner or more spa feeling. But not bad or anything. I guess I was thinking more like a spa I would go to but it is just for pets. No need for too fancy. Good price and they came home clean and happy. I was super late and they had no problems waiting. They also threw in a free nail trim/file! I will for sure be back. Just one question if anyone can answer and put it in the "tips". Am I supposed to tip them? Like I would tip a salon. Wasn't sure if ppl tip the usual 10-20%. Thanks read more

We have been bringing our Shih Tzu here since it opened. Unhappy with all previous groomers, Amy is the absolute best. She has never once nicked our dog. The prices are very reasonable and the open environment allows the dogs to interact and play with the other dogs while waiting for pickup. I can't recommend Elite Paw Spa highly enough. read more

They were great! I called to schedule an appointment got her in and when I picked her up, she was so cute and they cut her hair exactly how short I wanted it. read more

This place was great and very professional. My dog loved the employees and even though my puppy was only 4 months old at her first appointment, they were able to give her a full hair cut! She looked great when I picked her up! read more

They do a great job with our very temperamental Pomeranian. The grooming is excellent, prices reasonable, and he seems to really enjoy himself. read more

Talk about a place you can trust! I only started coming here a few months ago and my pup always leaves happy & content, which makes me feel like they'll treat your pet like their own! Not to mention how clean cut he looks! also the service I receive from christie/ Christina (I hope I got that right- I'm horrible with names) is always amazing, she's super sweet! I will continue to patronize this location for as long as possible!! read more

Low stress environment means I'm not fighting with my nervous dog to get him in the door. Staff is great, great pricing. WAY better than the corporate places! read more

We couldn't be more pleased with the bath and de-shedding that was done on our elderly German Shepherd, Brody. He is almost 12 years old and has back issues, so he can't stand for long periods at a time. The groomers took their time and gave him plenty of breaks and he was still done and ready to go home in only 2 1/2 hours! Their prices are very reasonable. The staff was extremely friendly and caring and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone! read more

This groomer is awsome. I bring my 3 dogs there. I love the doggy day care my dogs get to socialize and play is a safe supervised enviroment. read more

I highly recommend Elite Paw Spa, My dog is very challenging to say the least when getting a hair cut and has only had one groomer in 13 yrs and unfortunately she retired and i had to find someone else. after reading the reviews i chose Elite Paw Spa and am very happy i did. Because of how difficult he is and he is my baby, Michelle the owner was exceptional in going ABOVE and BEYOND to clip him (when anyone else would have refused) and did a wonderful job. I hope to never have to take him to anyone else. Her staff is also very friendly. Thank you so much Michelle, you have know idea how thankful we are. Cheryl W read more

I love, love, love this place! I've been taking my Old English Sheepdog there for about a year now and despite being kicked out of other grooming salons, she loves to go there. Today I took my 7 month old labradoodle puppy in for his very first haircut and he came out just gorgeous. The atmosphere is so calm and relaxing the dogs enjoy their day at the spa. read more

Been here twice ad the service is exceptional. I have been to several groomers that are less expensive but I have found you get what you pay for when it comes to pet grooming. The staff is always courteous and patient and our dog always looks great afterward. Happy customer. read more

Set up an appointment, and took in our Australian cattle dog, who was carrying his winter coat. The staff was friendly and all dogs in the shop looked happy. They gave Foxie the best bath and summertime haircut he has ever had, just in time for the June heat. He is now cooler and lighter, and the cut looks beautiful, with trimming around his ears and head. Once home he wagged his tail for 24 hours, because he was so happy to be relieved of all that fur. And they trimmed his claws, which he had been chewing on. We will definitely be back! read more

My dog Butters loves this place, as do I. Great price for the service. One of the things I like most is the dogs aren't kept in kennels as some other places do. read more

I found Elite Paw Spa from Yelp reviews shortly after moving to Arizona and am most grateful! This is a great place! There is a clean space for the dogs be with other dogs with someone always on watch. If a dog isn't social, or is shy or small, there is a smaller safe area for them. Everything is kept clean! It is easy to make an appointment and every groomer is well trained and experienced. They work on all kinds and sizes of dogs and each looks amazing! I take my 3 Shuh Tzus there on a regular basis. They are as happy to go as I am to take them. I cannot recommend Elite Paw Spa more highly. read more

I can tell you without any doubt that the owners of Elite Paw Spa (Amy and Michelle) are the real deal. They both love grooming and have been doing it for a very long time. They love all animals and love grooming (even the challenging ones). I bring my German Shepherd and Husky to them every now and then to get them cleaned up. My husky is the one in the slideshow on the top! I'm going to be super honest here. I was a groomer and I was taught by Amy and Michelle. I groomed for four years and I know them very well. All that said I am still a customer of theirs which is why I feel that I can write a review here. Knowing them as well as I do and seeing many other groomers in my career I can honestly say that I would not take my dogs to any groomer. I would and do take my dogs to Elite Paw Spa. They are very picky with the groomers and bathers they hire as well. Everyone there has a ton of experience and loves the animals they work on. The environment is like no other grooming shop I have ever seen. Dogs free to mingle and socialize with soothing music in the background. It even smells better than any grooming salon I have been / worked in. Its always clean and tidy not to mention the lobby where you are free to sit and read while you wait if you want. Bar none, the best grooming salon I have been in ever. Anything less and I would just groom my dogs myself! read more

I took my dogs in to the Elite Paw Spa while trying to find a good groomer. I was very disappointed with their lack of communication. I left my dog knowing he needed to be shaved from his hair being matted due to sweater weather in the winter, but I asked them to only trim his ears. The girl wrote it on the paper even. When my dog was done he no longer had the long ears that his breed should have. They were shaved down to the skin. After calling the store to let them know that they should have commented to me any variation of what was discussed for the grooming, I was told the owner would call me and clear it up. I have never heard from the owner. Apparently communication is an issue there. It has now been 3 months since I took him there and he now has 1/2" of hair on his ears that should be long haired. I suspect it will take a full year for him to get back to normal. You can't fix that. I would never trust a pet to this establishment again. read more

We recently moved to Mesa from the Chicago area. I have 3 small dogs (mini-schnauzer, shorkie, yorkie) and they are my babies! We had an AWESOME groomer that has cared for all 3 of them since they were babies so I was really worried about finding a comparable groomer here in AZ. Based on research and reviews I decided to try the Elite Pet Spa, mostly because of the "free range" policy which is the same as their previous groomer. I was NOT disappointed, the staff are so friendly and helpful and were happy to listen to all of my instructions and requests and fulfill them with a smile. They even recommended a local vet so that I could get their shots updated here. We will definitely continue to use Elite Pet Spa! read more

I live in Queen Creek and drive to Mesa to get my little Abby groom. Very easy to make an appointment and the staff are very friendly and caring. One thing I really like is that they kept records of what style and length she gets. And I'm ALWAYS happy with the end results. read more

I would 100% recommend Elite Paw Spa to anyone. Friendly staff and they really take good care of our 3 girls!

Took my two older dogs (12 and 15) here today for the first time upon recommendation by neighbors. They did a great job! They weren't super familiar with my breed but I told them what I wanted done and they did exactly as I requested. They even called to ask if it was ok to do something before they did it. The dogs look and smell fabulous and did not seem stressed at all when I picked them up nor since coming home. Sleeping like babies. Very pleased. read more

Brought my little chihuahua-papillon rescue puppy for her first grooming appointment. She is a timid little 1-year-old and I had hoped they would be gentle with her to avoid making it a traumatic experience. They went above and beyond to handle her with care and pamper her. She was bathed and trimmed and even had a cute bow in her hair. Denise did a great job. All the groomers told me how sweet she was and that they wanted to bring her home. I will definitely return. They were great! read more

Great business! I've been here twice before and everyone was so friendly and the did a great job grooming, except they didn't ask if I wanted my boy's ears trimmed (they left a little bald spot). Other than that he looked great and was happy. Then, I went to drop him off for daycare, as I am post surgery and need to rest but he needs play time. The girl who greeted me seemed a little snippy or frustrated. Maybe she was having a bad day? I, of all people, understand what it's like to have bad days. It just stinks that most judgements of a business are formed during the initial greeting and/or interaction with the employees. Overall, this business is A+ and I will continue to definitely give it my business, as well as refer others! read more

Took Bichon in today. Regular customer. Not sure what has happened but quality and attitude have really gone down. Went in for regular grooming and they totally shaved him. He also can not stop itching. We will not be back!!! read more

Took my small malitpoo in for the first time yesterday. Whomever answered the phone was very knowledgeable and kind. When I got there the staff was very thorough about what I wanted. The price is great, the facility is very clean, and everything all happens in one room where you can see it when you are a customer. We will be back! read more

I've heard good things about this groomer however every time I call to try and make an appointment it just rings and rings and rings.... wish I could get someone to pick up the phone! I've tried on multiple days at multiple times and can't get anyone to pick up. It's now the end of another business day with me not being able to get ahold of them. I want my pup groomed before we leave town. Very inconvenient when you can't even get them to answer the phone. read more

Groomers were friendly. Price was great! We will be bringing our Boxer back here!

I love this place! Thanks for always taking such great care of my Lilly girl!

Love love love this place! I bring my unruly Yorky Chomps to get groomed here... he is such a pain in the butt! Michelle and Monia groom him for me along with my other dog Shadow. They are so patient and kind to my dogs! I will not take my dogs to any other groomer! They are honest and the price is always perfect! If they can give me a discount, they do! Great place to take your dogs!! Thank you Elite Paw Spa! And a special thanks to Monia and Michelle!, the best dog groomers ever!! read more

Best place to go if you want a thorough job! We have used multiple groomers trying to find one that can properly shave my golden retriever without making her look like a mushroom on top. I explained what I wanted and they exceeded my expectations! My dogs love going there and they recently began a "chauffeur" service where you can have them pick up your pets and drop them off for $20. Very clean, very thorough and they do a beautiful job every time we come in. They also offer a de-shedding service which we get on our black lab to help keep her from getting hair every where in the house. Wonderful grooms, reasonable prices, excellent service. I told them that they won us over as a customer for life. read more

Called as a first-time customer and they scheduled me an appointment for the same day. They did a GREAT job with the grooming of our little Pomapoo, who was WAY overdue for a grooming. When I picked him up a couple of hours later, he looked great and was one happy little camper. The staff here are really experienced and friendly and we'll be sure to come back again (soon). read more

Bought a Groupon and decided to check this place out and give it a shot. I usually take my dog to Petsmart and have not been satisfied and always spend $50 to $60 for a 20lb dog. Upon entering the shop I was greeted by two very nice ladies. The shop was also very cute and I felt comfortable there. My cavalier was groomed better then he had ever been groomed. His tail was wagging when I picked him up and he looked great! If you are looking for a good place to have your pet groomed that is affordable, detail oriented, thorough, clean, and friendly then take your pet here! Will definitely be back! read more

This place is absolutely wonderful! I bought the Groupon deal for doggie daycare last year and since I've been taking my dog there weekly. The staff is so incredibly friendly and they know Ari by name. My dog now knows when she's going to doggie daycare and is always excited! This place is great and I highly recommend them! read more

I love Elite Paw Spa. My GSD was a very fearful pup with extreme separation anxiety. Elite Paw Spa opened and I thought what the heck I will check it out. I walked in and WOW the owner spent a lot of time with me and sharing her experience. She said bring your baby by and we can try it out. Getting Ruger in there was next to impossible(it was liking dropping your child off for the first time) pulling, crying, the whole 9 yards. Well it didn't take long before he was very social and today we don't even mention "daycare" out loud unless we are ready to walk out the door. The vet was very pleased. When I mentioned Elite Paw Spa he stated, "I have heard some really great things about that establishment." The staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and make both you and your pet comfortable. Whether it is for his grooming needs and/ or play dates, I would not bring my animal anywhere other than Elite Paw Spa again. Thanks for taking such good care of my little guy (120lb)! read more

Great business and easy to talk to groomers. They listen and do what you ask, not what they think you asked for! The cageless grooming is awesome and so is the doggy day care. I will definitely be back! read more

GREAT! Is the best way to describe Michele and the staff, Michele has been grooming our standard poodle Max for the past 3 years, and she now is grooming our Giant Schnauzer Aero. I would not take my boys anywhere else! They not only do an excellent job grooming your pet, they do an excellent job in taking care and loving your pet! They are simply the best in the business! read more

My pup (Old English Sheepdog) has always hated grooming and I've even been told she was not welcome back, or they couldn't finish her because she was so awful. But today at Elite Paw Spa she she came out beautifully groomed and happy and they told me she was just fine throughout the process! They have a wonderful open atmosphere that is stress free for the dogs and the women there truly understand dogs. Their prices are very reasonable and you can tell they truly love what they do. Don't hesitate...run to Elite Paw Spa! read more

Elite did an amazing job! We took our Yorkie in after she had stayed on a farm for a month and was a matted mess (she clearly enjoyed herself on the farm)! They cleaned her up with no hesitation and were prompt and efficient! Thank you for your time and great customer service! We will definitely be back! A read more
