We tried a few other groomers in the area before trying Elegant. Since finding them several years ago we have been loyal customers. We usually see Sergio but all the other groomers there seem good too. They do a great job and are clean and friendly. I would highly recommend them! read more

They are amazing! My pup is super anxious and has to have a pre med. the first visit was short and they only did what she would let them. They let me know what was and wasn't done, respecting my pups comfortability. On the second and most recent visit, she was there a lot longer and they were able to get everything and said my pup did so good and wasn't as nervous as the first time. She got the same groomer and clearly they established trust becuase my girl had such a good visit. read more

I'd give more stars if I could Our dog was given a very good cut, nail trim the whole works. read more

I have had two great experiences here. They are great with my Terrier I would highly recommend.

Oh my gosh. My pomeranian is so dramatic and loud at the groomer but these guys did such a great job on him. Honestly the best haircut I've seen on him in years. I can't apologize enough for his loud barks and cries but they assured me he was alright. Cant believe how great he looks. Will definitely come back here after the winter! read more

Hit or miss what kind of service you get. Got off work and took my dogs to get their nails trimmed at 4:30 and they had already locked their doors and said they weren't taking anymore. They had no animals inside so it seems to be a kind of poorly run place. Have been once before and they did fine on the nails but that's pretty hard to mess up so good on them I guess. Go across the street if you can to the other groomers. read more

I really trust these groomers. They take notes on what you like best on your services. The same groomer does our dogs each time. Rogelio, Sergio and team do a great job. We had a Maltese, Shih Tzu and then decided to start taking our big old Labrador in as well. They come outside to help unload and carry a small one in. Then they all laughed as I open the rear door of the SUV and the huge lab jumped out, happy as all get out. With most groomers our Shih Tzu has an issue with her back end when she comes home, but not here. (She just hates the feeling of her girly parts getting clipped and it creates drama for a full week for her. It's now rare it happens, and if so barely an issue - so often before here we had to pick her up to take her to drink and eat, take her outside, so it can turn into a UTI if we're not attentive, so Elegant groomers are careful to scissor her slowly I suspect.). Sometimes we let her hair grow on her legs and then they give her cute Pom Pom feet - Sergio's cute idea. He knows our backyard was new when we moved here, and just dirt. I told him when we get it done she can get longer hair. She's not delicate - she's a farm dog kind of girl. She will sit in the dirt over the chase lounge. When I arrived to pick them all up she's usually barking. I tell them they should tell her to stop - they all smile and shrug telling me it's no big thing to them. They smile and almost laugh. They remind me to give our chocolate lab her salmon oil when they see her skin it too dry (thoughtful). Their nails always come back a good length. This last January I had to put our Maltese boy down due to her bad spine. They said nothing at first. But. When they helped me load up the two they both came out and VERY POLITELY asked me why he was not there. They had such empathy in their eyes, and she had a tear on her cheek. They profusely gave me such kindness and said he was always such a good boy to work on there. About that time another client pulled up with two puppies. They both smiled. The woman got out and let them know they could not wait to replace their old dogs they said goodbye to. Oh such joy! The groomer told them it's too early to let them be at the groomers - they talked about the shot schedule, and told them to start touching their feet a lot and open their mouths to inspect the teeth. Patient with little tips. The older couple were so happy it made my heart happy. And the groomers. The couple told me they'd been using elegant for many years. At the beginning of Covid19 I took the team all a gallon of milk and some cupcakes and told them to gave a good day. Now they're closed. I can only imagine they'll be packed upon reopening. read more

This staff is amazing! They have taken care of my dog for fourteen years and I am so grateful. Every time she has looked perfect and has been happy when I pick her up. They are always on time and so nice. read more

Been coming here for over a year. The staff is friendly and amazing with my shy/scaredy cat of a dog! I literally have to carry in my 50 pound dog because of her social anxiety, and they are so nice and friendly every time! Because of her anxiety with new people, they always have a same groomer for her which is so awesome. This place is squeaky clean, doesn't have the "wet dog" smell. Odd to mention because they are washing dogs so it's reasonable that it would smell like wet dogs, but it's just smells clean! Doesn't smell like they cover up the place with an artificial scent to mask it, they genuinely keep this place so clean, which is so important to prevent illnesses like kennel cough. My dog I'm sure can't be easy to groom but she looks amazing every time. read more

It is really comforting to know when you leave your pet with a groomer that you know they are safe and cared for. I went to Elegant Pet Grooming for the first time this month and this pet grooming shop not only greeted me with big smiles, but also greeted my pet with love and care. I felt so happy to be able to leave my pet with them, knowing that they really cared about my baby. When I returned to get Daisy, my Maltipoo, she was happy, not shaking, having fun and looked so well groomed I was thrilled. This shop is great! They are really good with pets and how they handle them. I felt at ease when I left Daisy there and returned with her all happy and really taken care of. Usually when I leave her at the groomers, she is shaking and crying. What a great feeling knowing when I return my pet is happy and well groomed with no crying! read more

I will never come back to this place! I call to take an appointment and i explain that my dog is not the super easy to groom, they said that was not a problem so i took him there. After 10 minutes a woman come out with my dog with a super rude attitude. She ask me why i didn't fix my dog and that i will have problems with him in any grooming salon. Well lady that's not the way you should talk to customers, super rude, super unprofessional. read more

Omg! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this groomer! My cat opal was supposed to be groomed in February...then BOOM pandemic! She was extremely matted. Not only that but this is the sweetest kindest bunch of groomers ever! You can tell they love animals!! read more

Some of the rudest people I have ever met. Not only are they rude. When I came back and told them my problem, they just shrugged their shoulders like no big deal. For Some of us our pets are our kids and it is a big deal if they are caused pain by someone they are supposed to trust! read more

They do a really good job. We have taken our pup here twice now. The first time we took her in we had her fully groomed head to toe with an oatmeal bath. Her length was great not to short but not to long either. The second time we took her is why I can't give 5 stars. With it getting colder I wanted my pup to still have the length she had but have her face, rear, and paws cleaned up. Since I wasn't the one who dropped her off there may have been a misunderstanding but I told them over the phone this is what i wanted. Our old groomers used to call it a sanitary clean up. When we picked her up tho all she got was a bath and brush out. We were not over charged I was just sad that we didn't get what we asked for. I plan on still taking our little one here since they are really awesome people and do a great job. read more

Great service ! I took my giant schnauzer here and they did a fantastic job. Excellent service at a great price.

Elegant Pet Grooming - My dog Ginger after grooming - Pet Groomers Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

The BEST place to bring your Goldendoodle (or any pup)!! Selene has been grooming my doodle for 5 years & he always comes out PERFECT! We moved to Denver a yr ago & I brought him back for a groom, Marilyn and Selene didn't miss a beat! Remembered his exact cut (inches) & style (teddy bear). Plus Easton clearly missed them. Their attention to detail is impeccable! Their ridiculously clean new shop is amazing! You are missing out if your not getting your dog groomed here. read more

I took my 2 westies here for the first time to get a full groom. 1 of my westies is a puppy so this was his first time at the groomers. I was a bit worried he was going to be difficult because he is just so hyper. But they called me an hour and half later to tell me they were all finished. When I went to pick them up I was not only amazed at how great they looked but also how much the entire staff was excitedly talking about how much they liked them. I could really tell they were treated well. My westies were so happy and excited it definitely eased my comfort of going to a new groomer. I will definitely continue taking them to Elegant. read more

The price is great and they were very reassuring about treating my dog well. They had my dog done in 2 hours which is great (Petsmart always took at least 4) and his cut looked very good. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars is that there were 2 places on my poodle where he got a small amount of razor burn. He did have some clumps of knotted hair so they still did a good job of cleaning him up, I was just hoping that I had found a place that would be just a bit more careful. Overall, I like them and would still go back. read more

The staff at Elegant Pet Grooming is phenomenal! They are so kind, caring and gentle with their clients. I wouldn't take my 13 year old pekingese anywhere else, his groomer Rohelio is AMAZING! You can tell how much he cares about animals, especially little old dogs. I seriously cannot say enough good things about how fantastic this place is, I am so lucky to have found them when I moved to Arizona a few months ago. Highly recommend them!!!! read more

Absolutely the ONLY place to take your fur baby!! Wonderful experience from the moment we arrived! A gentleman came out and we specifically went over everything we wanted done regarding the groom. My 4lb dog is scared of everything and is so timid that taking him to the groomers is as stressful to me as it is him. I made an appt. After Heather talked me through their process and treatment of my shy and fear reactive dog. She literally spent 15 minutes on the phone with me and then she called his vet to get his shot records so I didn't have to. While dropping him off he acted like a ferrel animal but they remained calm and assured me he would be fine. I told them as leaving if they could not groom him I would not be upset and to just call me. I received a call five minutes later, fearing that they could not groom him, however it was Heather calling me to tell me he was behaving so sweet and amazing! She even texted me a video! After only an hour, which says something as it usually takes hours to groom him, I picked him up. His groom was amazing. Exactly what I asked for! Now let me say, the facility is the cleanest you will ever find. So clean you can't even smell animals in there. I am also allergic to cats, extremely sensitive to animal fur and I sensed nothing upon entering there place. Will be back again! They have my future business! read more

In my experience it's been hard to find groomers who know how to do hand stripping well but I hit the jackpot with this place! Rogelio did my Border Terrier for the first time and did a great job! Moreover, he took his time and gave the dog various breaks so as not to tire him out too much. He met me when I brought the dog in so I could tell him about the dog and any special requests. Ollie looks fantastic and I'm a happy customer! We will definitely be back!! read more

I love the staff the atmosphere and the way everyone makes our Ritz feel. His tail wags as we arrive to the parking lot and he is a very happy dog. We love Elegant Pet groomers and you will too!
