Love this place! Came in for the first time tonight and not only did they squeeze me in for a 5:15 appointment which is SO NICE, but they also were very kind and attentive and super friendly. Overall, I have to say I like this nail salon. And to be fair, I keep returning. I would more or less recommend it. I do miss Kelly. She was the best! This review is primarily about the rewards program. It is an absolute joke. And frankly a waste of time to carry and fish out the card when I go. Each card has 12 spaces - which equates to 12 visits. When you fill the card, you get 10% off your next visit. Let's do the math. My service is typically $64 (unless they don't offer me the upgraded service - which I always choose when they do). So times 12 is $768. My full card gets me a whole $7.70 off my next service. Again if you're following along at home is a 1% discount. Why even waste the time and paper or pretend you're rewarding your loyal customers??!!! I sincerely hope they'll consider revising it. Perhaps a free service equal to your least expensive previous 12 services. Or at least 50% off your total charge. Something that was actually meaningful. But to give a 1% discount and pretend it's a rewards program is laughable. Back to the salon itself: Pros: - I am always able to get an appointment when I'd like. - Sometimes the services are great...it all depends on the tech. - the prices are very reasonable given the local market. - good color selection (although I always get the same) - no extra charge for gel removal. Cons: - They don't always run on schedule. - Inconsistent based on which nail tech you get. Good to know: they don't accept tips via card. read more

Crystal and staff at Elite never disappoint! I do Gel-X and Crystal gives me a great design. and her attention to detail is unmatched. I'm usually pretty picky and can find some error regardless of how good they look but I can go 3-4 weeks and never have any issue with the actual nails or the looks! Plus, the rest of the staff always help by doing my pedicure at the same time, or help me fins the perfect color or look I take in. The music and water feature in the middle of the salon made for a relaxing environment. I needed a fill and received excellent service from Jasmine. She took her time, and I loved the way they came out. My daughter got a gel manicure, and she said Hellen was wonderful. UPDATE: The bubbles on my polish was bothering me so much I came back and asked them to fix/polish my toenails the next morning. They asked me a few questions--like who did this and a few of them looked at it and ran their fingers over it--but with very little resistance, they agreed to fix it. It was a bit of a nuisance and I wish it was done right the first time, but I do appreciate that they fixed it. ORIGINAL POST: This 1-star review is for my pedicure only. My manicure was great--I asked for no polish on my finger nails, I just wanted my fingernails to be cut, filed, and cuticles cleaned. The nail tech was very detailed and spent a lot of time cleaning up my cuticles. My pedicure actually took LESS time than my manicure. As I was waiting for my polish to dry, I noticed what looked like bubbles on the polish--a lot of tiny little bubbles. I pointed it out and the pedicure tech who said it was "glitter". I told her I picked a polish that did not have glitter. Disappointed as I was, I needed to go because I had to pick up my daughter. She said she could fix it quickly with some topcoat. So she quickly applied topcoat which to the naked eye might have been ok. Take a look at these photos that I took. This is about 30 minutes after I left the salon. They are bubbles in the polish, NOT glitter. I have never had such a bad pedicure experience. What a shame that she tried to tell me it was "glitter" when it was bad/bubbling polish from the jump. The pictures with the tissue between my toes were taken at the salon before the top coat. The ones with the pink slippers were taken 30 minutes after I left. read more

UPDATE: I have been going to Ann faithfully every two weeks for about 3 years now. Over time, she started treating me as though my time means nothing. More often than not, she would call or text me on the day of my appointment (I always schedule two weeks in advance when I'm at my appointment) to change the time for one reason or another. It's as though my time has no value. Occasionally I would ask for a nail design and it was always simple as you can see by the photos. She gacted as though it was an inconvenience yet there have have times (one in particular) where I have waited 35 minutes past my appointment time so she could paint extravagant designs on someone else's nails. I decided it was time to find someone new who appreciated my business. I am tired of being disrespected. I cancelled my appointment and went to a different salon. So glad I did. My nails look SO much better and my new nail tech is very friendly and sweet. Shame on you, Ann! read more
