Best electrician ever! Chadwick was the most experienced, professional, conscientious, and courteous electrician I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I had lost most of my upstairs electricity, due to a handyman who accidentally put a screw through an electrical wire. The worst part was that it was Saturday evening and we were sure that it was next to impossible to get anyone out here before Monday. I started to panic, since my house is under contract and the potential buyers could pull out at any moment for any little thing. Needless to say, I wanted to get this problem fixed asap. I took a chance and turned to Yelp to look for an electrician and that's when I called up Elite Electric. Chadwick answered right away and after explaining the problem to him he showed up a few hours later! It was about 8:30 at night and he had the problem solved and fixed by about 10. He didn't even charge me the late call fee!! I am telling you this man is a genius (really he should probably be working for NASA or something)! He had to cut part of my wall out to get to the wiring and there is almost no evidence of it. I was sure I was going to have to call a dry wall tech in after the electrician, but I don't! I recently ordered 2 new ceiling fans to replace some older/malfunctioning fans in my condo. When they arrived, Chadwick was more than willing to add me to his schedule for the Wednesday before Christmas (12/21/11). I greatly appreciated the fact that he took the time to call to confirm I would still be available before he drove out to my home. The timing of his arrival was perfect as I had just arrived at home from work around 20 minutes earlier. Chadwick did an outstanding job of handling the minor complications that came up with mounting 52" ceiling fans in my late-60s condo. His attention to detail was impressive as he pointed out and fixed several issues related to the wiring and the mounts that others may have missed. Chadwick has done a lot of electrical work on my house over the course of the last three years. I had to have my service box replaced, run additional new wiring to my kitchen, garage and on the outside of my home, add a 220 outlet in the garage, replace florescent lighting in the kitchen, install new florescent lighting in the garage and add recessed lighting in the living room. In every instance his work has been meticulous, looks great and works beautifully. He paid attention to what I said I wanted, and when appropriate, offered knowledgable suggestions that improved the overall project. When ballasts in two of the florescent lighting units failed two years after installation, he replaced the ballasts without charge, not because they were still under warranty, but because he considered the failure indicative of a defective product. He and his assistant are considerate when in the house or on the premises, and they clean up afterward. If Chadwick is booked and cannot get to me right away, I wait, because I trust him and the quality of his work. This guy is great. read more

Elite to the rescue! I had been let down by another company. I had taken a half day off work on a Friday to meet with the other company to install a 220 outlet in my garage. The other company never showed. I then set about to call several companies, including Elite. Chadwick took an immediate interest in what I wanted done, and asked all the appropriate questions to determine that what I was doing was the right thing to do. It was at the very end of the day on Friday and he could not come out same day (which I did not think was likely anyway), but said that he could come out on the very next week day, which was a holiday and also his birthday. He was very professional and efficient and actually seemed to enjoy me watching his work. He took time to answer any questions that I had. I can't say enough about Chadwick. I have only had him out a couple of times, but he is nice and takes your concerns seriously. We had a smell, thought it was electrical, and called him to come out. He came out the next day and I live out a the lake, so it was quite a drive. After sniffing around he said the smell wasn't electrical. He didn't charge us for that visit. I had him come out and put a 220 outlet in our garage and even though it wasn't an emergency he sent someone out asap. After putting that outlet in, due to my mistake, I needed another outlet. Chadwick saved the day, or night as it were. This is the second time we've worked with him and he delivered again. We lost power in part of the house (affecting refrigerator and heater) and couldn't figure out why. After trying all the breakers, we called him. It was after hours and he not only answered the phone, he was over within the hour. Once he diagnosed the problem (on the city's side of the electrical box), we were able to have it resolved within an hour. He even checked in with us that night to make sure we were taken care of. I called late in the afternoon and Chadwick answered the phone. He was awesome! I had two bathroom plugs that suddenly quit working. After trying all of the usual remedies, I finally swallowed my pride and called Chadwick. He walked me through a process of finding the source of the GFCI protection...it was in the garage. I reset it, and my plugs are working again. He could have easily scheduled a visit and charged me a substantial fee, but instead he helped me solve my problem myself. Hiring outside service people is never easy. I had 4 electrical projects that had been lingering for sometime and finally decided to pull the trigger and get them done. I had originally contacted another electrician I found on Yelp but did not hear back for a week. While waiting I contacted Elite Electric, was called back quickly and had an appointment for the next day. Andrew was on time, reviewed each project and completed the work very quickly and even had to go to pick up a transformer for a pendant light. The electricity in the master bedroom went out. I checked the circuit breakers and everything seemed to be normal. When I called for an estimate, the man I spoke with asked me if I checked the other breaker box outside the house. I didn't know that I even had one of those! That ended up fixing my problem. And while he did not personally come to my house to help me, he was a very cordial, down to earth guy over the phone. I called the company first thing on Monday morning and the electrician who happens to be the owner of the company estimated that he would be there around 5:30pm that day. He came at that time, and works on an hourly basis. Chadwick is polite, very capable, honest, prompt, and his prices are more than reasonable. This morning I tripped a breaker, or so I thought, and couldn't figure out the issue. I called Chadwick at Elite Electrical and he very politely talked me through the fact that I had probably tripped a GFCI switch. I found it and reset everything to normal.
