Had an electrical issue in my home that I felt needed immediate attention. One company gave me a 2…read morehour window late in the day and this all started at 7am. Took the slot and then continued calling around. This was my second call and Todd said he could get to me within 3 hours. Todd showed up well within that time frame and got more details on the issue. Checked my outside breaker and then moved inside. Nothing was found wrong with any of my wiring and we discussed replacing a couple of GFI outlets since they were tripping. They tested fine, but I aired on the side of caution. He also recommended I call my utility company and have them review the data on my smart meter. They did find issues with the electricity being delivered to my home during that time. GFI outlets were old and the new ones have not tripped once since being replaced. The entire time he was here, I was sweating the final bill. I was pleasantly surprised at how well inexpensive the service calls and replacing the outlets were. Very reasonable. After being paid for the pull job, he finished working one day and said he would be back later and needed to get a few things from the hardware store. David never returned to the build site. He has never picked up his phone, he has never returned a call and he has never replied to a single text. He cashed his check and vanished with the wind. Come to find out the work he actually did complete is faulty and incorrect. From switches, fans, and lights not working, Hot wires being cut and placed being a fan cover or into the wall, the ground for the electrical panel and break box never being connected, undersized gage wiring and breakers to MUCH more. It's amazing this house never burned down with such crummy work. Stay away from David and Double D Electric.
