I've been coming here for years, but in the past year something has changed. Since the coat is white, it was very noticeable. It honestly looked like someone had worn it after cleaning. My mother has short hair, so the long hairs clearly did not come from us. When I pointed this out, the owner became defensive and insisted the hairs were not from their shop instead of apologizing or trying to understand the issue. On top of that, they damaged the snap buttons on the coat. The white coating on the buttons had melted/peeled off after their cleaning process. At first, they denied responsibility for the damage as well. Eventually they agreed to re-clean the coat and repair the buttons, so we gave them another chance. After waiting almost TWO MONTHS, we came back only to find out they could not fix the coat after all. The buttons were still damaged, the coat condition was worse, and they refused to provide any refund because of their "policy." What shocked me most was the lack of accountability and customer service. There was no sincere apology, only excuses and denial the entire time. After reading other reviews, I realized other customers also experienced damaged clothing here. At this point, I honestly don't know what customers are supposed to do in situations like this. If anyone has suggestions on how to handle businesses damaging clothing and refusing responsibility, please let me know. I truly regret trusting this place with an expensive white coat. When I got the dress back, the sheer mesh that holds the leaf designs together was completely shredded and ripped. You can actually see the healthy mesh on one side of the dress, but on the other side, it's just gone or torn away. Now there are just frayed fibers sticking to the leaves like Velcro, which makes the dress unwearable. This was a collector's item and it was clearly not handled with the care a designer piece requires. I have photos of the damage and the 1stDibs valuation. I strongly advise against bringing your precious wedding dress to this place. I have worked in the wedding industry for over 25 years, and I have never experienced such poor service.
