Update: I wanted to update my last post because our precious interaction was a miscommunication. We cleared it up and I drove over there after work yesterday and complete the transaction. He was very friendly and even waited until 7pm, way after his 5pm closing time, for me to pick up the MacBook. I have been a loyal and satisfied customer for years. Right in the middle of a 6 month long project, my computer died. I took it in to the owner, who's said, he would repair my computer (and save my urgently needed files/program). my SAVIOR!!! if i could give elitebuyer.com 10 stars i would. Shaw is BRILLIANT. i woke up yesterday morning, boot up my computer to a BLUE scary error screen stating things i could not comprehend. i called DELL, they pretty much told me i had to back up my hard drive, restore my operating system, and the rest is a blur. on my hands and knees trying to figure out where to find the darned hard drive, i realized i was way out of my league. needed some true professional help and wasn't going to chalk out $199 for DELL to come and diagnose the issue. NO WAY! so to the SOURCE i went... YELP! i found elitebuyer, made a phone call and was on my way. i felt like carrie bradshaw in the sex & the city episode where her mac dies and everyone keeps asking her, did u back it up? no! oh i felt her pain and prayed that unlike her, my files would be recovered. my LIFE is on this computer. My computer totally crashed on me one day and I struggled to find a computer repair shop with a decent price. I needed to restore my entire computer. In hopes of getting my lost data back.... Seriously a 5 star review here. I received such amazing customer service! I found them on Facebook Makrketplace I was going to buy a rose gold MacBook Air and upon arriving and agreeing on price I told him what I would be using it for and he immediately directed me to something way better suited to my needs (I was honestly clueless) and gave me what I feel was a good deal. I went home later that day and did notice that the battery on the MacBook needed to be serviced . I called and he just told me to bring it in and just ended up giving me a whole new MacBook in better condition than the first! I am truly a happy customer. A Perfect Experience. My Dell laptop was nothing more than a paperweight that played music due to numerous bugs and viruses contracted through filthy myspace encounters. I looked on Yelp for someone to help since my attempts were nothing more than frustrating. Thank God for Yelp. I would have NEVER found my way to Shaw without it. Shaw was very accommodating, letting me know I could either drop off the laptop when he was there, or leave it at the dentist's office beside his office if he was not there. Within 24 hours I had my laptop back and in great shape. The entire cost was $100 and included the virus protection software and he transferred my backed up data and even backed up my computer and reloaded all of it since I hadnt done a backup in a few months. Elite is my first choice for anything with my computer. My first experience was when my computer went black when I was in the middle of a transaction (real estate) and absolutely had to recover the contract and other documents. Best Buy looked at it, called it a "Level 3" and said they'd MAYBE recover it for $1,700. Shaw said he'd do it for $50. Honest, reasonable and fast. Find THAT anywhere else. He also recovered all my back up files from a back up hard drive that the carpet installers dropped - nothing lost.
