Unfortunately, my experience with the front office staff was quite the opposite. I was extremely disappointed by their rudeness, lack of customer service, and particularly a lack of transparency surrounding certain charges. As a patient, I have every right to ask questions and receive straightforward answers. Staff members, including the office manager, were very defensive and seemed to have an excuse for everything. I wanted to know why certain lens enhancements were not submitted to my vision insurance. Instead, the clinic applied its own discounts to their retail prices and charged me out of pocket. Without the charges being submitted to insurance, there was no opportunity for my insurer to determine whether my benefits or contracted pricing had been applied. And while the clinic promotes its discounts, how can patients know whether those retail prices are reasonable or consistent with marketplace pricing? That's one of the reasons why I have vision insurance. It's unfortunate because I genuinely liked the clinical care that I received. But I won't return because of how I was treated and how my questions and concerns were dismissed. Good patient care extends beyond the examination room. It also requires respect and transparency.

Took time to talk to me and get everything down. Again, not a long wait for the doctor. HE WAS SO NICE. Came in, shook my hand and proceeded to cover everything I could even image for an exam. Because I am diabetic, over 65, and had cataract surgery a year ago, he covered a lot with me. Never felt rushed or pressured to hurry through. I have had a LOT of appointments with eye doctors since I stared with bad eyes in 4th grade....but I have to say this was by far the best experience with an office all the way around. My grandson and daughter will definitively use this office. AND ON A SIDE NOTE - I loved the chair I sat in and the receptionist went out of her way to call the person who ordered all their office furniture to find out where it was from..NOW THAT WAS OVER AND ABOVE...

They said we could wait around for TWO HOURS to see someone, but since we drove a half hour to get there, we had already wasted enough time on this place. We had another appointment with them for Friday, which, of course, we cancelled. It's so frustrating to have made an appointment AND CONFIRM IT, only to have the place make TWO mistakes and then ask you to sit around for two hours because of their mistakes. My first eye appointment a few years ago was extremely brief and I was not satisfied with the quality of service (at another location), but didn't really know any better, it being my first exam. This appointment with Dr. Williams was the complete opposite. She was thorough, patient, very clear in what she was asking of me, and very understanding in letting me express what I was seeing. She explained everything in detail as we went along with the appointment, including what she was testing and how. She was awesome and made a great experience! I also was surprised at the frames Target Optical offered, including popular, luxury brands such as Dolce & Gabbana, along with Coach, Ray-Ban, and Armani Exchange. They also had a Tweed something line exclusively for Target. Many of the frames they offered were on-trend, along with classics, but I was pleasantly surprised with the array of offerings. I called and was told that they do not have the doctor in on Wednesdays, which is why I chose them in the first place (again, as per the DV website). There was tons of traffic, and so I was running a little bit late (my Waze said 11 minutes) for my appointment. I called just to let them know, and they told me that I would have to cancel if I was more than 10 minutes late. I couldn't continue driving and chance it.
